“Who?” Freya asked.
“One of your patients,” the director said. As soon as he mentioned it, he gave her a piece of advice, “He’s now a major shareholder of Mede Holdings, don’t offend him and cause trouble for your work.”
Her patient, and a major shareholder of Mede Holdings?
Who could it be?
Freya quickly realized that it might be Elijah. At the same time, she was surprised by how soon Elijah acquired shares. Among her patients, only Elijah had the capability, and he was associated with the Lofic family.
“He’s in the same room as last time, go see him.”
Now Freya was even more certain and replied, “Alright.”
She left the office and instead of going straight to the room, she turned towards the restroom and quickly put on some makeup. She intended to see him in the evening, so she didn’t want to wear heavy makeup during the day. Luckily, she had everything she needed in her bag.
Ten minutes later, she arrived at the room, and indeed, it was him.
Elijah was standing by the window and turned around upon hearing the noise.
“Mr Silverton, are you looking for me? Do you have any questions?” she calmly stood by the door.
However, Elijah didn’t say a word. He was surprised himself. He didn’t really dislike this extremely ugly woman.
“What did you do to me yesterday?” he finally asked.
He couldn’t believe that he had fallen asleep after a massage yesterday. Furthermore, he even dreamed of Freya. And the feeling she gave him in the dream was so real, including her breath, her warmth…
Freya was astonished.
Wasn’t he dreaming?
He shouldn’t know that she kissed him, right?
She steadied herself, “I gave you a massage to help you fall asleep.”
“Is that so?” Elijah looked skeptical. He deliberately tested her, “I remember you did something to me.”
“What I did to you was purely for the purpose of treatment, please trust our professionalism.” Freya calmly replied. She showed no signs of panic. She had been with him for so long and she knew him quite well. If Elijah knew that she had kissed him while he was asleep, he would have been furious long ago. There was no way he was just testing and questioning her.
Elijah squinted his eyes, thinking that this woman, despite her ugliness, seemed quite intelligent.
“Your technique is indeed impressive. Tonight, same time, same room.” He said.
Jane responded, “I’ll be there on time.”
Elijah glanced at her, “You may leave now.”
Freya opened the door and walked out. Evan was standing at the door and as soon as he saw her, he walked in.
“Mr Silverton,” Evan greeted.
Elijah couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off about this woman.
“What are you suspecting?” asked Evan.
Elijah himself wasn’t sure why he would suspect such a hideously ugly woman. If there was anything he was suspicious of, he couldn’t pinpoint it. It just felt strange.
“Install a camera in my room.” He told Evan. He wanted to see what kind of massage she would give him tonight.
“Mr Silverton…” Evan hesitated. Soon he understood, “Alright, I’ll do it right away.”
Outside the door, Freya returned. She had originally intended to give Evan some eye ointment, but she overheard Elijah asking Evan to install a camera in the room.
Was he planning to monitor her?
It had to be said that Elijah was quite cautious.
She pretended as if she had just arrived, and when Evan opened the door and saw her, he frowned. Jane smiled calmly and said, “When I came out of the room just now, I noticed that you had an injury on your eye, so I brought you some ointment. It can help reduce the dark circles.”
Evan looked at her, worried that she might have overheard his conversation with Elijah, and asked, “You just arrived?”
“Yeah, is there something wrong?” she asked with a smile.
Evan took the ointment from her hand, “No, just asking casually. Thank you.”
“No problem. The ointment will be included in Mr Silverton’s treatment fee.” She said before turning around and leaving.
Evan thought he was being cared for, but…
Well, being cared for by such an ugly woman wasn’t really something to be happy about for him.

In the evening.
Freya arrived at the Auston Hotel as planned. She took the elevator to the floor and as she passed by the door of Room 907, she heard a familiar voice. She walked over and noticed that the door was slightly ajar. She pushed it open a little and peered inside through the crack, and then she saw–
