Looking at the arrogant woman in front of him, Evan’s eyebrows were so furrowed they almost tied into knots. Couldn’t she just go away?
“An annoying pest,” Evan impatiently muttered.
“And you’re a clingy leech.” Sacha Lowe retorted directly.
Evan was at a loss for words. It was said that this woman grew up abroad but she was fluent in the language of Country Z. Seemingly sensing Evan’s confusion, Sacha said, “Although I grew up here, both my father and mother are from Country Z. Is it strange?”
When she mentioned the word “mother,” she also looked at Elijah’s face. His expression was cold and impatient.
“I can consider myself your sister, right? Why do you always put on a sour face? Who owes you? I know you don’t want to see me, I can disappear from your sight. But on the condition that you tell me where mom’s grave is…”
Before she could finish her sentence, Elijah walked away directly.
She still wanted to go after him, but Evan stopped her. “Hey, can you have some self-restraint? At the very least, you’re a woman.”
It seemed like Sacha Lowe hit a sensitive nerve because she exploded instantly. “You have self-restraint? Do you still have your virginity intact?”
“You’re insane.” Evan had never seen a woman like her in public.
“Who do you think you’re talking to?” Sacha didn’t want to back down. She grabbed Evan’s arm and demanded an explanation.
Evan was also annoyed by this woman’s persistence. He lowly scolded, “Let go, if you don’t let go, don’t blame me for being impolite to you!”
Sacha didn’t believe he would dare to lay a hand on her. Fearlessly, she retorted, “I won’t let go!”
“You!”
“What, you want to say something?” Sacha tilted her head back, looking defiantly like a spoiled princess, bold and wilful.
Evan couldn’t take it anymore. He forcefully pried her hand off and pushed her aside. “Don’t ever appear in front of Mr Silverton again.” After speaking, he walked briskly towards the car.
Sacha stumbled from being pushed, almost losing her balance. Filled with anger, she caught up and hugged Evan’s waist, opening her mouth and biting down.
“Ah.” Evan turned around. He didn’t dare to physically confront her, so he resorted to scolding her. “Why are you biting people? Are you part dog or something?”
Elijah glanced out of the car window and told the driver, “Let’s go.”
Seeing the car drive away, Evan panicked. “Mr Silverton, Mr Silverton, I haven’t gotten in the car yet.”
Elijah was already impatient. Seeing Evan being cornered by Sacha Lowe, he just left him behind.
Sacha finally let go and sneered, “Humph, you’ve been abandoned.”
Evan pulled his shirt out from his pants and lifted it to find a deep, slightly purple bite mark on his side. His mouth twitched uncontrollably. “Shrew.”
“Who are you calling a shrew?” Sacha was angry. No woman would be happy to be called a shrew.
“You, you, it’s you, Sacha Lowe is a shrew!” Evan was uncharacteristically rude. It was the first time he had been entangled by a woman like this. And it was definitely the first time he had been bitten by a woman.
Sacha’s eyes turned red from anger, and tears were on the verge of falling. If someone didn’t know the situation, they would think Evan was bullying her. But it was clear that she was the one who had bullied Evan.
“Don’t cry!” Evan panicked. Making a woman cry didn’t seem like something a real man should do.
Sacha sniffled. “Then tell me where my mother’s grave is, and I won’t cry anymore.”
Evan turned around and walked away. Sacha caught up to him.
“If you dare to follow me, I’ll call the police!”
Sacha stopped in her tracks. She looked at him, knowing it was impossible to get close to Elijah, who was cold and unapproachable. But Evan seemed more breakable. If that was the case, she would focus on Evan instead. And soon, she came up with a brilliant idea.
