AUTHOR’S POV
Luciana helplessly watched the witch teaming up with Vivian’s daughter Eliana to hurt Catriona, furthermore kill her. She wanted to warn catriona about their scheme but she was powerless because the witch was able to sense her presence but couldn’t see her so she made sure to discard any kind of inhibitor. Early in the morning when Jayden went out and with no one roaming around the house, Eliana got some good amounts of Olive oil and sprinkled it on the floor of Catriona’s old room. And with a proud smile of what she did, she rambled out. The witch was standing, staring at Jayden’s bedroom door.
” Should I go and call her out?” Eliana asked with a wide smile. No, I’ll do it. Go take care of yourself. You yourself smell like olive oil. You don’t want to get caught.
When Eliana disappeared, the witch pushed the door inside and closed it. She looked around loving the exterior design of the room.
Jayden! AsShe heard Catriona’s soft voice calling from the other end of the room. The witch trooped over and got jealous when she adjusted the mess the bedroom was in. Catriona pulled the duvet up her body, looking surprised about the witch’s emergence.
“No one is allowed in here. How did you get in?”

The witch Sniggered scornfully. You sure? How about I tell you what he did behind your back!
Catriona grabbed Jayden’s shirt and yanked it on before getting out of bed.

The witch scanned Catriona’s body underneath Jayden’s big shirt and felt like bursting with jealousy. I will show you the door if you forgot where it is. Catriona said and tried to leave and open it but the witch gripped her hand so tight, making her wince. I’m still talking to you. We both dislike each other but I feel sorry for you. As a woman I feel bad that you will never get a chance to conceive for the rest of your life because of the man you love. The man you love. No, your mate, Jayden Evers, bartered your ovaries with the witches for his personal gains. Catriona’s eyes popped out in total aghast and in disgust of the witch’s words.

Before catriona could respond to her spiteful words, Eliana opened the door, grabbed her hand and pushed her inside and then closed the door. After that, she knocked on Jayden’s room and called out the witch. I did my part. Now I have to get back into my room before anyone wakes up. They both sauntered away but the witch stopped and turned around. Her eyes widened up when she noticed the tiny cameras. With fear she ran through the long hallway leaving a yowling Catriona.
When Eliana pushed catriona inside, she lost control and went slipping until her head made contact with the vanity dresser. Why are you doing this to me? She asked before losing focus.
Pamela, you need to wake up now. Catriona is in danger. It was the millionth time Luciana tried to wake her but her. Her energy was drained away by the witch and she was slowly fading away but she held on because she wanted to help her new friend. She had to do something before she vanished completely. She exhaled and blew cold air out of her mouth onto Pamela’s face. Immediately Pamela reacted to the cold and slowly opened her sleepy eyes. “Catriona is in trouble! She said and then disappeared.

When she entered the room she lost control too and tumbled down on her ass. She started screaming out for help when she saw Catriona’s state. A while later Jayden burged in to Pamela’s wailing.
Mr Alpha, please save my friend. She’s not breathing.
Jayden looked around and clenched his jaws. Who did this to her? He growled his eyes turning red with anger. Pamela flinched. I have no idea. Luciana… Luciana told me she was in danger, when I rushed in I found her on the floor unconscious. There was a long pose from Jayden to Luciana’s name. He Snapped back when he heard a hand on his. It was Catriona’s. She’s breathing. Pamela gasped.
Jayden balanced himself and carried catriona to the pack hospital. A while later the doctor came to him, bowed, and told him they stitched up the wound and that she’s stable. Appoint a nurse to watch over her until I come back. With that he darted back at the pack house and into his office. He sat on his chair, opened his computer and watched everything, from start to end. He fisted his hand into a ball before storming out.
Everyone in the dining room rose up from their chairs as he entered. They were all disquiets to his ominous look. In the middle of their usual addressing, He grabbed Eliana by her neck and hurled her like a rabbit. He followed her where she hardly fell and grabbed her again by neck and lifted her in the air. Who gave you the right to open your mouth and disrespect my mate? What right do you have to lay your hands on my mate? What right do you have? Look me in the eyes and answer me. He graved. Fury built in that he half shifted and dug his nails into Eliana’s skin. Eliana let out a trembling screams that filled the dining room making other pack members cower in fear.
Please spare me alpha. I won’t step foot near her anymore. It was wrong for me to disrespect her. Godmother tried to intervene but was sprawled backwards by an aura surrounding Jayden, falling on the dining table causing all the dinnerware to scatter everywhere.
Please-Alpha-have-mercy-on-me. Eliana squeaked, her nails and toes turning grey. At this moment no one could dare stop him because of the strong aura around him. Not even his beta.
Jerome brought Catriona inside and she was wide-eyed at Jayden’s terrifying mien.
Catriona, his aura is very strong to the extent that no one can cross him other than you. Jerome said. Why is he like that? What do you want me to do? He’s frightening. To me as well.
Don’t be frightened. He can’t hurt you. He’s acting that way because you almost lost your life because he wasn’t there to protect you. Said Jerome. But he knows I am alive. I’m breathing fine. Said catriona but winced due to the headache and dizziness. They both know that but just know that is not Jayden standing over there. It’s his wolf. That stupid girl would’ve have been dead by now if Jayden wasn’t fighting his wolf. Jerome looked down at catriona. Help him stop his wolf from killing that stupid girl. You know his wolf is so powerful that if it gets out of control he just kills, whether it’s a pack member or an outsider. Unlike Jayden, he just gives punishments. If you don’t do something quick, that girl is dead.
Jayden snapped his teeth out to finish the life out of Eliana. “Jayden no. Don’t do it.” Catriona hollered but Jayden didn’t seem to care or else heard her because he brought his long canines to Eliana’s throat but stopped dead shot when his mate’s scent filled his nostrils. Her tiny hands around him from his back, pleading with him to stop. The yelping tone of his mate sounded like a sweet melody in his ears that filled his nerves with a new life. I’m still breathing my love. So- don’t hurt her. Eliana could not stop crying and shaking. She could feel Jayden’s sharp canines on her skin.
His body softened up and extricated Eliana’s numb body to the floor. He looked down at his waist, where Catriona’s hands were, and down to Eliana.
“From now on, Eliana Perez, you’re no longer a member of this pack.” I want you out of the pack’s territories and its borders before sunset. It’s the punishment I’m giving you.
