A familiar sting on my chest was what I felt and it seems that my breathe has stopped, no, the air has left my lungs.
And its so hard to breathe.
I heard Ashira screamed and… she’s crying.
I can’t hear it clear, it seems like my heart moved to my ears and all I could hear are its loud beats.

My whole body was stunned, I can’t move or even to look back to my mate crying for someone else’s.
Nick stopped just right in front of me and I had the strength to put my extended arm down to my sides.

I thought the sting I felt is in its maximum when my mate ignored me but the moment I heard the words she screamed, another wave of pain stabbed my chest.

I hear her screamed again and slowly, I looked her way. She was kneeling on the fllor, her hands are on the metal railings and she’s crying nonstop. The tears that fell on her eyes didn’t even halt and…

“What are you doing, Ashira?!” it was Jacob. She tried and grabbed Ashira in the arm but she kept wiggling, looking at Jacob with narrowed teary eyes.

Lucianna ran past me and I saw how she looked at me with worrying eyes.
“Jacob, no, stop it. She’s…” I didn’t hear what she said next because Ashira screamed again.
“You let the father of my child get killed!”
My mind went black and the crying Ash, scolding Jacob, cheering crowd, every sound around me has become muffled noise.
Father of her child?
That’s ours.
That child is mine.
I wanted to shout at her, I wanted to be mad, I can’t.
I can feel the bond between us but she… she can’t? Is it completely gone to her? She’s bond to Elon now? Elon succeeded?
This is what he’s saying that I didn’t win at all?

Ashira kept struggling from our hold. I was guessing that she was stolen by Elon before we reach here. He did one last mess before dying, that jerk.
I can’t even look at Aiden. I can see how lost he is. He is not even moving from where he was, he was not saying any words, but his eyes says it all.
It’s heartbreaking.
“That’s not your fu*cking mate, wake up!” Jacob kept being harsh with Ashira but all she does was cry and scream her fake mate’s name.
“Jake, please, that’s pointless.”
“You have your mate over there!” he ignored me and pointed at Aiden as he speaks. “Fucking open your eyes and look at your mate!”
Ashira stopped crying and we thought she will look at Aiden but she looked down the field, to the lifeless body of Elon.
She screamed once more and we were send flying over the bench, electrocuted.

Jacob had caught me tho he took the blow.
Ashira didn’t seem to care as she jumped on the railings, to the field!

Jacob helped me up, his eyes are narrowed to Aiden who didn’t gave any response. I heard Jacob clicked his tongue but didn’t say a word tho I can feel he got a lot to say.
We watched Ashira down the field, running to Elon and Zeke was watching her with knotted forehead.
“We need to get her back to the pack. Zynia needs to know this.” I heard Nick said to Aiden but still no response from him at all.
Slowly, Aiden walked to the railings, looking down the field where Ashira hugged the lifeless body of that fu*cking jerk Alpha.
