Difficult for her, but he was very happy!
Ranita, with an inflated and cold expression, blushed, making her look even more charming.
So Ranita is this cute, even cuter than four years ago. Brendon couldn’t help but itch with excitement.
But Brendon remained calm, “It’s okay if you don’t want to show me. How about giving me a kiss instead?”
Ranita thought she misheard, “What did you say?”
“I said… it’s okay if I don’t see it. How about you give me a kiss?” Brendon leaned down a bit, whispering in her ear.
Ranita raised an eyebrow, “Mr. Stuart, do you know you’re taking advantage of me?”
As soon as she finished speaking, the corners of her lips curled up, and in a swift motion, she snatched the photo album away and turned to run.
But Brendon’s legs were long, and he caught up with her in just a few steps. He lifted her up and pressed her heavily onto the bed before she could leave the room.
“Why are you running!?”
“You… you… let me go!” Ranita tightly held onto the photo album, refusing to let him see. At first, Brendon didn’t think much of it since Ayaan said there were pictures of him…
“Is this how precious it is? Pictures of me?” Brendon looked at her, his black eyes filled with waves, his voice becoming incredibly husky.
Ranita pursed her lips and didn’t want to speak anymore.
“When were these pictures taken?” Brendon asked again.
“Do you really want to see?” After a pause, Ranita wanted to struggle a bit more, “Do you really have to see?”
“Curiosity. I’m curious about what version of me you’ve hidden in this album.” The man’s voice was low, husky, and it lingered in her ear, particularly alluring.
Ranita knew she couldn’t compete with Brendon when it came to snatching, so she gave up.
“Go ahead and look. There’s nothing you can’t see.”
Seeing that she was getting angry, Brendon appeased her, “I won’t look now. I’ll wait until you let me see it someday.”
Ranita laughed helplessly, “Why are you like this? I let you see it, but you don’t want to look.”
“Annoying.”
Brendon sat down next to her and opened the album. The photos showed Brendon wearing a suit, looking like an elite businessman. The people around him were the same, and whenever he noticed the camera, he looked straight at it, resulting in a frontal shot.
“These are photos taken when I attended a business meeting a long time ago…”
“Yeah… they were given to me by the photographer. I thought they looked good, so I brought them back.” Ranita explained nervously.
But she was lying.
Ranita fell into reminiscence.
At that time, she had just married Brendon, and she had just started following him, attending a business conference together.
Brendon stood out from the crowd, handsome and eye-catching.
Her gaze was captivated and couldn’t move away.
After the conference, she begged the photographer for a long time to get the developed high-resolution photos and kept them by her side.
Brendon didn’t take many pictures, and even if they went to business meetings, the photos taken were not for public release.
Especially not high-resolution ones like these.
Brendon continued flipping through the album. There weren’t many photos, and he finished looking at them in a moment. They were all taken when he was out with her, with only him in the photos, not a single one of them together.
“These were all given to you by the photographer?”
“Sort of!” These were photos taken during business trips, although she had begged for them, but…
“Are these the only ones?”
Of course not, but she didn’t dare to ask for more photos later. Ranita knew he wouldn’t love her, no matter how many photos she hid.
“Alright, there’s nothing interesting!” Ranita hmphed and quickly put the photo album away in the cabinet, then hurriedly went to find Ayaan.
Brendon flipped through the album once again, in a very good mood. Suddenly, he discovered a hidden photo on the last page. Brendon slowly took it out, and his pupils contracted sharply…
