Ranita had just finished showering and was comfortably half-lying on the bed. She had just finished talking to her son on the phone and was in a pretty good mood.
Ranita flipped through her phone, thinking about sending a message to Brendon, when Eve sent her a screenshot.
Ranita subconsciously clicked on it. It was a picture of someone’s back, and she immediately recognized it as Brendon’s.
Below was a caption filled with bitchy tone: “My boyfriend’s back is so handsome!”
“Ranita, Shannon is really interesting. She posted a tweet in the middle of the night, but deleted it in less than ten seconds.”
“But in just those ten seconds, her fans managed to take screenshots and go crazy!”
Eve sent a voice message, “She did it on purpose, right!”
Ranita looked at it for a while, her eyebrows furrowed.
Probably Shannon sent this to her to see.
“Alright, there’s no need to get angry. Why are you so free?” Ranita reminded her, “You should go to bed early so your skin can look good!”
“Okay, I won’t bother you anymore! I sent it to remind you not to be too infatuated with Brendon. He’s not worth your undying love.”
Eve sent her a hug emoji.
Ranita replied, “Okay. I got it.”
She looked at the screenshot for a long time, then went to download Facebook.
Just enter the word “Shannon” and a lot of information about her will appear below. Ranita flipped through it and finally found relevant pictures and texts about the back photo.
Ranita followed the guidance and went to her tag. There were many blog posts about this back picture, all of them praising and calling Brendon brother-in-law.
Ranita felt a sudden pain in her temple.

Brendon and Shannon were childhood sweethearts. He divorced her for Shannon back then, but now she really believed him when he said he wanted to remarry her.
“Ranita… you idiot!” Tears rolled in her eyes, but they never rolled down. Her heart was sour and astringent, and she felt extremely uncomfortable.
Just then, the phone rang.
“Ranita, have you rested?” The message was sent by Brendon.
Ranita took a look and felt even more sad.
Ranita pretended not to see it, but her heart could not calm down for a long time.
“Ding dong!” Suddenly the cell phone rang. Ranita thought it was Brendon calling. When she answered the phone, she said angrily, “Brendon, are you done yet?”
There was silence on the other end of the phone for a few seconds before a hoarse voice came, “Ranita, it’s me.”
“Dr. Pearson?” Ranita looked at the phone screen. It was an international call. “Where are you? Why did it take you so long to call me? Have you seen Yasmin? Are you okay?”
Steve smiled and did not dislike her for having many questions, but patiently explained, “I saw Yasmin! We are all fine, but the living conditions here are not very good, and the mobile phone signal is intermittent! My mobile phone accidentally broke. Oh, this is the satellite phone I borrowed. I can’t make calls for too long.”
Steve coughed a few times as he spoke, and his voice became louder. He said, “Ranita, I just want to tell you that everything is fine here. You and Ayaan don’t worry about me.”
