“I can’t believe you would do something like this! Can’t you see how worried the mother is? And look at how you’re dressed, it’s ridiculous!”
“That’s right! This child belongs to her, give her back!” Several elderly people took turns scolding Brendon.
Ranita quickly rushed in. “You’ve got it all wrong! This child is ours. He was taken from the hospital without permission.”
Ranita touched Ayaan and felt that he was burning up with fever again. “He has a fever, let’s take him to the hospital first.”
“No, no! This is my child! My child!” Sophia looked plain and sad, like a mother who had lost her baby. It was really pitiful.
Compared to Ranita and Brendon who were well-dressed and young with beautiful looks and handsome features respectively, they didn’t look like parents of such a big child.

Someone shouted at Sophia, “Ma’am, is this really your child? If not, return him to them quickly!”
“We just helped you earlier. If you’re not the child’s mother, give him back!”
