**FALLON**
I followed her voice slowly and with each step i took, I heard her frail voice sniffle. I grouped my fingers getting even angrier. I just wanted to make whomever was making her cry bleed, bleed and bleed.
I finally reached her cell and as much as I prepared myself, the sight in front of me broke. Annabelle has been through a lot and most of them were all my fault. Each and every one and I tried to help her get better but it just seems like she’s sentenced to more problems.
“Annabelle…”
I called out. She raised her head slowly. Her eyes were swollen and she was dressed the same way.
“Annabelle.”
I repeated moving closer.
“I didn’t kill him. ”
She murmured like a broken record.
“I swear I didn’t kill him.”
She repeated breaking me even further
“I know. You would never hurt a soul. I promise you I’ll get you out of here. I promise.”
I swore meaning every word.
“I can’t stay in here. I can’t.”
She said nearly breaking down.
“I’ll be back. I promise you I’ll be back.”
“No Fallon!”
She screamed reaching out towards me.
“Annabelle. Look at me. For once I just want to help you get out a problem. I will help you get out of this problem. I know you can never, ever trust me so I won’t ask but just please, don’t let it break you. You’ve been through a lot worse. This would just be another and it’ll be over soon. I promise you.”
I said before drawing breath.
“I’ll be back.”
I said holding her hands as they trembled in my grip.
I turned around walking away ignoring the nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach, telling to rush back to her, comfort her and never leave her side but I knew the best way to help her was getting her out of prison.
I never thought I’ll be getting him for anything. I didn’t fight, I didn’t argue I let him have her although it ate at me. I thought he would protect her. Instead, she’s in his precent, caged and he does nothing.
I felt enraged matching towards his office. His men tried to stop me but I only had one thing in me. Pushing the door wide open, I barged in. He was talking to someone on the phone making me even more infuriated.
“You bastard!”
I screamed launching an attack towards him. I held his shirt delivering as many punches as I could before he recovered. After he did, we both landed on the fall. He tried to hit back but anger was a great motivator, I held him tighter hurting him as hard and fast as I could.
“You bastard!”
I yelled again. Spitting out blood, I faced him ready to hit him once again.
“I’m doing my best to get her out!”
“She’s not supposed to be there in the first place. If she was with me…”
“Too bad. She’s not with you. She’s with me. Me. Me, Fallon. You need to get that in your head. Annabelle is mine and not yours. I’ll get her out of prison and I want you to get out of my office before I have you thrown in prison.”
He spat out. I chuckled facing him with a glare.
“Once I get Annabelle out of prison. I swear it, I’ll come for you and I’ll ruin you.”
I swore before smirking. I wiped the blood off my lips and walked away.
My phone began ringing, I reached into my pockets and Ava was calling. I groaned nearly clicking reject. I reconsidered clicking the answer button.
**Ava, I’m really busy.**
**Fallon! Fallon! It’s the baby. There’s something wrong with the baby. Ugh!**
She yelled on the phone. I gulped as my heart hammered against my chest.
