“Sorry, but we can’t let you go with us, Bianca.” Tatay told Bianca.
“You need to rest.” Nanay told her, too.
“B-but I want to go. My mate is going! So as my sisters!”
“Nanay is right. You have to rest.” I told her then with a finality on my voice.
Bianca did not protest anymore even when Kuya Drey bid goodbye to her.
“Take care of yourselves!” she called out to us.
“Blue Crimson Pack!” Justin spoke. “It’s a four-hour drive, guys so I guess we can still rest.” We nodded and positioned ourselves to sleep.
“Wake up! We’re here!” Justin shouted at our mindlink causing us to jump in our seats. I looked outside and saw that we are in a forested area. It surprised me to see a forest since I was thinking we are heading for the beach.
The Blue Crimson Pack is situated in the middle of a forest that surrounds a big twin waterfalls. The pack house itself is situated in the middle of the river where the water falls on each side. Bridges connect the pack house to the mainland which is the forest.
“Welcome to the Blue Crimson Pack! I’m Alpha Kyle and this is my Luna, Thea!” The alpha greeted us as we arrived.
“I’m Alpha Orly of the Silver Moon Pack. These are my grandkids Drew, Drey, Rochie, Justin, Red and his mate, Eana and Rianne.
“Hello, Alpha Kyle.” We greeted in chorus. He smiled at us and welcomed us.
“You have such a wonderful place, Luna.” I told her, amazement is in my voice.
“Why, thank you!” she said shyly.
Tatay and Alpha Kyle went to Kyle’s office for Tatay’s plan of having his pack as an ally. While Luna Thea brought us to her garden/living room.
“We’re here!” a voice sounded all over the house.
“Oh, my children!” Luna Thea exclaimed. “In here, kids! There are people I want you to meet.”
A girl and a boy came into the living room. The boy, who is the older one, has a straight hair while the younger one, the girl, has a curly hair.
“These are my children, AJ and AC.” she introduced to us.
“Hello! Hi!” we greeted them. They smiled at us. AC looked at Drew the longest time.
“Mate!” Drew and AC exclaimed altogether. We smiled as Kuya Drew walk towards her.
“No!” Kyle shouted. We turned to him in shock.
“I won’t give her to you! Not now, not ever!” he suddenly got hysterical. “I won’t ever let her go.”
Kuya Drew’s alpha wolf got insulted and threatened. Stopping a wolf, especially an alpha, is an insult. He growled at him.
In a flash, Alpha Kyle turned into his big brown wolf and launched at Kuya Drew who managed to dodge away. He, too, turned into his big black wolf and attacked him and the alpha was thrown away. The brown wolf stood up and attacked again.
We prepared to fight but Tatay stopped us. “This is his fight!” is what he only said.
“Stop! Stop it!” AC suddenly shouted causing Kuya Drew to look at her. Unfortunately, Alpha Kyle didn’t listen and instead, attacked and managed to take a big bite on Kuya Drew’s neck. Blood dropped from his wounds. Alpha Kyle’s wolf bit deeper and deeper. In an instant, Kuya managed to use his wind and threw the alpha away from him and at the same time, a water bubble enclosed Kuya, protecting him from Kyle.
Alpha Kyle turned back to his human form just like Kuya Drew inside the bubble. The alpha growled at him.
“No! I won’t let you hurt him!” AC, who made the bubble, told her father fiercely. “He is my mate!”
“Yes, he maybe but I won’t let you be with him. I will never allow you to leave this place, this pack and this family!”
“I will be with my mate whether you like it or not! I am not your prisoner!”
“If I have to imprisoned you, then I will, just to prevent you from going anywhere.” He growled.
AC released Kuya Drew from the bubble. His wounds were already healed from the water plus the werewolf’s ability to heal. Wow! That was fast!
“I will be going with my mate!”
“No! Then I will have to kill him!” He said and changed into his wolf again. He started to attack Kuya once again. But, this time, Kuya is already prepared. With the use of his wind and water power, he made a tornado causing Kyle to wind up and down.
“I don’t want to hurt you!” Kuya Drew spoke in his alpha tone. “But you can’t stop me nor my mate to be with each other. And if you won’t give in, I’m ready to defeat you.”
“You didn’t even hurt me.” Kyle snorted.
“You knew what happened. And if you won’t surrender, we will have to break our treaty!” Tatay’s angry voice thundered the entire house.
“Our treaty has been broken.” Kyle snapped. we stiffened for a while before we heard the sound of rushing feet. “Maybe, you forgot, you are in my territory.”
“You don’t listen, don’t you?” I finally spoke. In a flash, I was able to produce vines and tied the rushing men upside-down. While the others were thrown away. Every attempt to get inside failed as Kuya Rochie and I surrounded the house with a shield of wind.
“You can’t go!” Kyle said. “You are the last of your kind! Letting you go would be like committing suicide.”
“What?! What do you mean by that?” Luna Thea asked. Kyle smirked.
“I knew about your family even before I asked you to marry me.” Thea paled and stiffened.
“You are not my mate! Do you really think I would want you as my mate?” he shook his head. “The only reason I asked a witch to have you bonded to me is for me to have a control on your powers.”
“But I guess luck wasn’t really on my side. You don’t know how I hated your mate when he got you first. And now, you can’t even give me a child! It would have been nice to have children with you; to have control over their powers. But you failed. So that left me with her!” he shouted pointing at AC.
“And now, you’re giving her away! I would be damn!” he finished as he grabbed AC tightly. “I’d rather have you and never let you go. I want to have powerful children and if I have to impregnate you, then I will!” Gasps and a growl was heard as he pulled AC with him so fast we didn’t even know how they reached the door quickly.
“No! Let me go! Father!” AC begged as she was dragged down to the door.
“No!” Kuya Drew’s voice awakened us all.
Kuya Drew’s wolf blocked Kyle’s way. I never even noticed him shift.
Eana and Kuya Red did our “punishment” and he crumpled to the floor. Kuya Rochie and I still kept the sheild over the pack house at the same time as I held the other pack members with vines. Kuya Drey was in Tatay’s side and was in a fighting stance.
To our surprise, Luna Thea stood up and walked towards Alpha Kyle. Within seconds, she managed to approach her husband, who was still shrieking in pain. Our eyes bulged as we saw what she was doing.
Water rose and enveloped Alpha Kyle. He held out his hands punching the water. He was trying to escape as he was obviously losing his breath.
In a wave of her finger, Luna Thea’s water froze into a solid ice trapping and killing the alpha inside it.
I felt shiver down my spine as I see the great power we have.
I turned my eyes to AJ who was in shocked. I guess witnessing his mother kill his father is something.
My eyebrows met when I saw the smile on his lips. His eyes showed so much happiness as he ran towards his mother and hugged her tightly. Thea hugged him back, happiness is on her face, too.
“Thank you!” AJ said as he turned to us. Shock still in our faces. “You don’t know how much we owe from you.”
“What do you mean?” Tatay asked.
“AJ turned twenty-one last year. He was supposed to be the alpha by now if Kyle turned it over to him. But he didn’t. He kept the Alpha title to himself and made my son a puppet. That cruel selfish bastard!”
We all nodded in understanding.
“I know you have to bring AC with you, not just because of her mate.” AJ nodded in agreement but he never commented. “As much as I wanted to stay, I want to go with you, if it’s okay, Alpha?” She asked Tatay. “I want to help her train as we didn’t have the chance here. I don’t want Kyle to know the potentials of our power.”
“I would be honored!” Tatay exclaimed. “After all, I would like to ask for your help for our Ri over there. She needs to learn those techniques, too.” I blushed as Luna Thea looked at me.
“Thank you, Mom!” AC hugged her then turned to her brother. “Bro, you will be a great Alpha and your mate will be so proud of you.”
AJ smiled and hugged her. A growl escaped from Kuya Drew’s throat. The two separated and AC went back to Kuya Drew’s side.
“I am afraid we have to go.” Tatay said. “But before that…” he raised his hand, spinned it, creating a whirlwind; threw it up and in an instant, the mess was gone and the members trapped in vines fell down unconscious. “That would do it. They won’t remember anything when they wake up.” he told AJ what story to say and he walked outside ahead of us.
We went back home and decided to call it a day. The search for these girls is indeed a challenge for all of us. But it’s all worth it.
