Bella’s POV
Here I am gazing at the ring that was in my finger. It was simple yet beautiful. When I first saw it I was simply awe struck.
“What you thinking fiancé?” Xavier asked me hugging me from behind. “How lucky I am.” I said chuckling.
“I’m the lucky one babe.” he said kissing my cheeks. I chuckled at him. “You ready for the wedding?” he asked me. I just nodded my head.
Its been 1 months since he proposed. We have been preparing for the wedding ever since. And finally the day was here. Tomorrow we will be getting married.
I can’t believe that all of this is true. Liam was wrong. I have people who loves me. Who cares about me. Who takes care of me.
“Ok you need to go.” I said chasing him away. He pouted and hugged me tighter. “Nooo.” he whined while I chuckled.
“Come on. Its bad luck.” I said giving him a stern look. He sighed and pulled away. He gave me a long kiss before pulling away.
I waved him bye as he went sulking. Just when I closed the door, I heard someone knocking the door. I went to open and saw it was Sophia, Emma and Ava.
I smiled as I let them in. “Hi Bella.” Emma squealed as she hugged me. I gave them a hug. They squealed and hugged me.
We went inside the living room. All of them took a seat and put the bags they were carrying in the table. I eyed the bag suspiciously.
Xavier was with his dad, Andrew, Dean and some of his friends having his bachelor party. Sophia wanted to host a bachelorette party but I refused.
So we thought of spending time and just chill, which they agreed and I was relieved. They took out the things that was in the bag.
My eyes widened at that. It was alcohol bottles. “No, no.” I said shaking my head. Their smiles turn to frowns. “Why not?” Emma asked me.
“I don’t drink.” I said sternly. “Please once. Come on.” Ava insisted. But I kept my ground. “Girls let her be. If she doesn’t want its ok. More for us.” Sophia said smirking.
The three of them started to smirk.
This night is going to be a long night,
Wedding Day.
“Be careful with my hair.” I warned Ava. She rolled her eyes yet, started working her magic on my hair. Emma was helping me with my make up.
“Close your eyes Bella. We want to surprise you.” Emma said as she started on my face. I huffed yet closed my eyes. Both of them started on their wedding.
What felt like hours, they were finally done with it. They helped me with the wedding dress. The dress was simply amazing.
It was princess style with lace and off shoulder. I cannot keep my eyes of the wedding dress. It was simply stunning.
“You look so gorgeous. If I hit for the other team, I would definitely married you.” Emma said making me blush. “Thanks.” I squeaked out.
“Girls are y’all-” Sophia stopped in her sentence. “My, Bella. You look so beautiful.” Sophia said making me once again blush. I nodded my head.
Soon David and Dean came too. Andrew was Xavier’s Best man while Ava was maid of honor. The moment Dean saw me, he stopped. I got confused.
“You look just like mum, Bella.” The moment he said this, I started to tear up so did. We hugged each holding each other.
“If mum and dad were to be here, they would be so proud.” Dean said smiling as I smiled at them. We stood there for awhile.
“Ok don’t ruin my hard work.” Emma said playfully. We just laughed at her. “Hey Dean, can I ask you something?” I said getting nervous.
“Yes. What is it?” he asked me quizzically. “Would you walk me down the aisle?” I asked with hopes. Dean seemed shocked.
“I would be honored, Tiger.” he said making us laugh. Soon the wedding music started, everyone started to leave. Dean and I waited till we were called.
And soon they did. I started to get nervous. “Hey, its going to be ok.” Dean said trying to calm me down. I nodded my head as we walked out.
We were walking down the aisle when I saw Xavier. He was standing staring at me with his mouth open. I chuckled at his reaction.
It felt like hours before we reached the end of the aisle. Dean called out to Xavier, asking him to take my hand. Xavier got out of his trance and quickly took my hand.
“Take care of her, man” Dean said smilingly but we knew the threat. “Always.” Xavier replied to Dean. I got up the staircase as I faced Xavier.
“You look so beautiful.” he said still gazing at me. “Thank you.” I squeaked out. The priest started the ceremony as everyone took their seat.
When our turn came, we said our ‘I do’ and exchanged our rings. We finally got married. When the priest said kiss the bride, he didn’t waste a minute before pulling me into a kiss.
He carried me to the reception hall. His parents and my brother started giving speeches as we looked at each other. We were so happy for the people in our life.
Soon it was the bride and groom first dance and were called upon to the dance area. Xavier took my hand and led me to the centre where the dance area was.
Soon, ‘Give me love,’ played and we started to dance to the tune.
“I cant believe this is all true.” I said looking into his eyes. “Its true, my love.” Xavier said chuckling. I shook my head and continued to dance.
“Who would know, the CEO would fall in love with the assistant.” I said smiling. He just stared at me for while before talking.
“The CEO’s love for his assistant.” he said before dipping me and kissing me with love and passion. And indeed it was.
CEO’s love for his assistant.
