Moon POV
“Wow, this is yummy, thanks alot for this.” He gave me a heartwarming smile, and I just couldn’t help, as I jumped up inwardly in excitement. Finally, I’m so happy that he likes it, at least, my efforts didn’t turn out worthless.
After a few minutes, I left his office happily, but bumped into my worst enemy on my way out. What the heck is he doing here now? He glared at him, looking all angry. Ok, what’s wrong with him now?
“Hey what’s up with that…” Before I could finish my statement, he grabbed my hand, and started dragging me away, like I stole something from him or something. What the heck! Is he mad or something?
“Hey what are you doing? Let go off me!” I yelled angrily, as he dragged me through the hallway, but he paid deaf ears, as he kept dragging me. I’m so going to deal with this bastard. Because he’s an Alpha, doesn’t give him the right to touch me like that. He’s lucky we’re in school, else, I would’ve allowed my wolf dealt with him. He kept dragging me, till we got to the garden, before he finally let go off my hand, and glared hard at me.
“What was that for, huh?” I yelled angrily, glaring daggers at him.
“Are you out of your mind Moon? What do you think you’re doing, huh? How could you stoop so low to have done that shit, huh? Do you know the implications of what you’re doing, huh? He’s a human for fuck sake, you can’t develop feelings for him, you know that, don’t you?” He yelled, looking all angry.
Ok this is crazy. I mean, what’s his business with all these? How is this his business? Is he losing it or something? I think Jack is going crazy, I think this man here, is losing it, he’s obviously crazy.
“Wait a minute Jack…, I don’t understand… what’s your take on this? I mean, how is it any of your business, huh? The last time I checked, we have no business together, you’re not my brother, you’re not my Alpha, so how’s this any of your business…”
“Because you’re my mate!” He cut me off, in between gritted teeth.
My mouth dropped opened, as I stared at him dumbstruck, processing what he just said. The whole world seem to stop working, as I stared at him, his words ringing in my head like bell, ok what’s he saying now? I said it, he’s losing his mind, he must he going crazy. If he’s not, he wouldn’t say the rubbish he just said. Me? His mate? Hell no! That’s never gonna happen, not in this lifetime.
“Wha… what!” I scoffed, staring at him dumbstruck. Like everything is still so confusing, like damn!
“You want me to spell it out to you, huh? What the heck were you thinking, huh? Preparing food for a…”
“Cut that crap Jack! Now listen to me, like I said, it’s none of your business, and that shit you just said, say it again, and I’ll rip your tongue off your mouth. What nonsense are you saying? Me? Your mate? Oh please, if it’s a dream, then snap out of it, coz it can never be possible… I hate you, and even if you’re saying the truth, there’s no way in hell I’m ever gonna accept that. We’re not compatible, and should I tell you the truth? I’m in love with Liam, so do yourself some good, by steering clear off my path, if you don’t wanna get on my bad side. What the heck am I even saying? You’re already on my bad list, so don’t make it worse. If you ever tell me this shit again, gonna make sure that I make you regret it.” I snapped, and with that, I left the garden angrily…
Jack POV
I watched, as she walked away. My eyes darkened in anger, as I clenched my fist tightly, digging my fingers, which were already getting longer, into my palm, as a a drop of blood dropped from my hands. My heart came thumping in anger, as I suddenly felt the urge of killing that bastard. I should be mad at Moon, right? I don’t know why I’m not, but instead, I feel really hurt. Now I’m beginning to read meaning to what my sister said.
Closing my eyes briefly, I let out a soft sigh, trying as much as to control my demon, which was struggling really hard to take over me. I couldn’t allow him do it, right?…
Octavia POV
It’s been a few days, since I last went to the woods. I’ve really missed Kai alot, and I just can’t wait to see him. He must really be worried about him, I wish there’s a way I can reach h, but unfortunately, there isn’t no way.
It’s still in the afternoon, and I just couldn’t wait for nightfall, so I can go to the woods, and get to see him again. I miss his smiles, his frowns, his scent, his voice, and everything about him.
There’s no doubt that I’m really in love with him, there’s no doubt that I have feelings for him, but what’s confusing me, is the mating bond stuff. I heard when you meet your mate, you will feel the bond, drawing you to him, and vise versa, but in my case, I feel like I’m the only one, having this feelings.
I kept looking out of the window eagerly, praying for night to come fast, but it seemed that the time stopped working, as the weather kept becoming brighter.
Letting out a sigh, I picked one of my books, and started reading it, but fuck! I kept losing concentration, as I found myself, always checking the time.
“Oh moon goddess, what’s wrong with me.” I whined, as I dropped the book, and went to sit on the mat.
“I think I should go on a stroll, I’m sure it’ll while away my time.” I concluded, as I stood up, and wore my flip flop, before going through the back door, and soon, I was already in the woods, and damn, the sight is really a beautiful one to behold, never imagined the woods to be this beautiful. It’s my first time of being out in the afternoon, and I’m really happy I made the decision of coming out today.
Walking farther into the woods, and enjoying the fresh air, is really something to be happy about, especially on your first day of experiencing it, as I just couldn’t help, but smiled happily. I was still walking, when a voice cut through my ears like a sword, bringing me to an abrupt halt, as my heart skipped like a million stop. Oh God, I’m caught…
