Zanaya’s POV
“I’m sorry Grandpa, Dad….”I said as me and the girls tried to tidy up the place while my grandfather is sat on the couch with my father and Seth sitting beside him.
I gulped at the scene before me.
The whole SHADOW was standing in line as they look down, intimidated with my grandfather’s presence.
I won’t blame them. My grandfather exudes charisma and power. He is indeed intimidating.
“So, Seth, how is your grandfather?” I heard my grandpa asked as I help Cali carry the trash to the kitchen.
“Hey, what’s happening?” Max asked in a panic the moment all four of us were out of the other’s sight.
“When did you get married to Seth?” Tokyo asked confused.
“Yeah, I think you forgot to mention something so important like that to us, Zanya” Cali crossed her arms.
I tried to open my mouth to explain but my mind was off and I can’t seem to think well right now.
Knowing the fact that my grandfather was sitting in the living room with the boys is enough to make my mind go crazy.
When did everything go so wrong?
“Can I explain later? I really need to attend my family outside.” I pleaded and the girls sigh.
“You better, because I swear I won’t buy any of your shits after this.” Max scoffed as we all head back to the living room.
I sigh as I try to visualize the scenario later.
I swear it will be bloody. Knowing the girls, they will demand to know every fucking detail and I am not prepared at this time.
This won’t be good.
Once I am out of the kitchen, the rest of the boys looked at me and I swear Seth looked paler than ever.
“Right on time, why don’t you sit with your husband, Zanaya.” I nodded at my grandfather before heading beside Seth.
I tried my best to avoid eye contact with others.
Apart from Storm, nobody knew about our marriage.
Well, nobody until five minutes ago.
“Grandpa, what makes you come and visit me?” I can’t help but ask.
My voice was shaking. Seth must have noticed because he automatically grabbed my hand in an attempt to calm me down.
We heard him chuckle.
My dad looked at me apologetically, probably because he wasn’t able to inform us beforehand with their arrival.
My grandfather cleared his throat.
“Well, I’ve been seeing a lot of articles about you two.” he started.
Of course. I mentally grunt.
“I saw articles with both you and Seth getting linked with someone else, you know, so I thought I’d pay you a visit. But imagine my surprise when I see your husband here. I guess I have nothing to worry about.” he said, his voice commanding and I didn’t know if Seth and I are in trouble or not.
“Dad, I told you the kids were doing fine.” my dad said to my grandfather.
“I know, but I wanted to make sure.” he patted my father’s shoulders before turning his gaze back to us.
“So, Seth, when will you two give me great-grandchildren? You know me and your granddad isn’t getting any younger.”
Seth started coughing at what my grandfather said.
“Grandpa!” I whined and he just chuckled.
The boys behind me stood frozen. And I swear Demo let out a loud gasped until someone covered his mouth.
“Are these both your team members?” my grandfather asked looking ay both my members and his members on the opposite sides.
We both nodded.
Soon enough, both of our members were introducing each other.
“Oh, you seem like some great lads. I hope you all understood these two’s situation.” he started.
My heart started beating like crazy. What would my grandfather think?
“Of course sir.” I turned around as I heard Storm’s voice. “You have nothing to worry about them,” he added and my heart skipped a beat.
How can we ever be thankful to Storm? He had been our savior since I can’t remember.
I turned to him and gave him a curt smile which he just returned with a nod.
“Good. It makes me feel relieved that they both have friends who will always be there,” he stated and my fist balled in frustration.
I looked up and saw my members looking on the ground.
Of course, I had been a disappointment.
I should have told them sooner because now, I can see betrayal in their eyes.
“I guess me and your father can now go then.” my grandfather suddenly stood up and my father was quick enough to assist him.
I stood up from my seat and move towards them.
My arms automatically wrapped around my grandfather’s as I bid him goodbye.
“I miss you, grandpa,” I whispered. From the corner of my eyes, I can see Seth hugging my father.
Once released with my grandfather’s hug, I reached for my father to bid him farewell.
“Dad, are you going back to Australia?” I asked.
He smiled at me and I hugged my father tighter.
“We will visit Seth’s grandfather first. You know your grandpa seldom goes back to Korea,” he stated.
Both of our members bid them goodbye and soon enough, silence covered the room as nobody dared to utter a word.
The air was suffocating.
There are two types of silence, one brought comforts and makes one feels relax, while the other gives you the scary vibe.
This type of silence definitely falls on the later.
Grey looked taken aback and Sky seemed to notice and he tried to get the attention of the youngest.
“So…” Tokyo broke the silence.
“You knew?” I turned around and saw Cali looking at Storm who just scratched his forehead.
Cali’s eyes landed on me.
“I didn’t tell him.” I whispered but she marched straight to her room.
I gulped.
This doesn’t look any good.
“What sort of bullshit is this?” Max’s voice roared across the room.
Fuck.
