Yolanda Taylor woke up when her alarm went off, she opened her eyes and for a moment didn’t react to where she was.
She sat up from the bed, and after several seconds, Yolanda Taylor reacted that she was now in Robin City.
At that moment, the cell phone beside her suddenly vibrated.
She inclined her head to look at it and realized that it was an incoming call from Gwen Fox, turned sideways to take the phone and raised her hand to press the answer button, “Hello?”
Having just woken up from a nap, her voice was a little raspy.
“Wake up from your nap?”
“Uh, just woke up.”
“Eating?”
Yolanda Taylor took her cell phone and went into the bathroom in her slippers, “No, I plan to pack up and go downstairs to eat now, I have to go over to the hotel this afternoon.”
“Okay, I’ll come over in a couple days.”
Hearing his words, Yolanda Taylor’s hand gave a slight lurch, “No, I’ll go back after the wedding.”
Gwen Fox didn’t know whether he heard her words or not, Yolanda Taylor felt that he most likely heard them, but he pretended that he didn’t.
“I have a meeting, so I’ll talk to you tonight.”
“Okay.” Hanging up the phone, Yolanda Taylor looked up at herself in the mirror, a little lost in thought.
It was a little cool inside the bathroom, and October already smelled like fall in Robin City.
Yolanda Taylor withdrew her thoughts and looked down to wash her face.
Yolanda Taylor put on some light makeup, grabbed a jacket and headed out the door.
It was after two, the sun was beating down outside, and there weren’t many people inside the restaurants at this hour.
She found a noodle shop and went in for a bowl of tomato beef noodles before rushing over to the hotel.
Winifred and the others were already there, and the hotel had just communicated that they would be allowed to deliver the materials for the site setup today.
When Yolanda Taylor arrived there, Winifred was calling someone to deliver the materials from the warehouse.
Yolanda Taylor nodded her head and didn’t bother her, she went into the lobby and took out her cell phone to start recording from the doorway.
Winifred hung up the phone and followed her, not daring to make a sound.
Yolanda Taylor measured the actual distance as well as some corner locations, and had a number in her mind.
This place is a little smaller than the actual area she imagined, but the impact is not too big, the ladder is in the center of the position, the area is small and can not be affected.
As for the other corner positions, the view above is the same, and there is no intention of some lights hindered the arrangement, in general, everything can be in accordance with the drawings.
In her heart, she knew what to do, the next thing was to explain to Winifred: “Winifred, in these two days, I may need to trouble you to supervise the work over here, I still have a design to catch up.”
Winifred quickly spoke, “It’s fine, I will definitely help you look after it.”
Yolanda Taylor didn’t say much, “Good job, after the wedding, we will give everyone an extra 500 bonus this month, and you will get another 500.”
Winifred knew that Yolanda Taylor was generous, and their treatment was considered very good within their peers, hearing Yolanda Taylor’s words, the smile on Winifred’s face grew wider and wider: “Then I’ll tell them the news in advance! They’ll work even harder these days!”
Yolanda Taylor laughed and didn’t stop her from going on about it.
“I’m going to go meet Miss Selina.”
Miss Selina was the bride this time, and it was Miss Selina who had found her way to Borden City before, so it was only natural to meet her when she came over this time.
The time was all set, right at 4:30, and it was a little after 3:00, which was a little early for Yolanda Taylor to be going over there, but she wasn’t planning on going over there right now either.
She went back to the store and handed Zara a flash drive, “I’ve got a few templates for new work in here, Winifred says you’re very active in this area, so take a look at them and tell me what you think about them tomorrow!”
Zara was flattered, “Really, Miss Taylor, these are unpublished templates, aren’t you afraid of-”
Yolanda Taylor knew what she was talking about, Zara would have a down payment on a house in Robin City if she sold these templates out of the blue.
But Yolanda Taylor could see that Zara wouldn’t do such a thing, and she also left a heart, all of her manuscripts and sketches are stored in the file, back to pursue, she won’t suffer, just some trouble.
“Doubtful is not a good idea.”
She looked at Zara and smiled slightly, then turned around and went out.
Zara looked at the tiny rabbit flash drive inside her hand and her eyes burned a little.
It was five minutes shy of four-thirty when Yolanda Taylor arrived at Starbucks, and she had just sat down when a tall woman in a low-cut floral dress approached her.
“Miss Taylor?”
Miss Selina took off her sunglasses and was a little surprised when her eyes fell on Yolanda Taylor.
Yolanda Taylor smiled, “Miss Selina, long time no see.”
“I should say that.”
Miss Selina’s family was well-off, and her fiancé’s family’s conditions were also good in Robin City, the two families could be said to be door-to-door, and taking out a couple million dollars to organize a decent wedding would probably just be a matter of buying a few few fewer bags for Miss Selina and the others.
The diagram is already out, and the hotel side has already started to set up, she came to see Miss Selina today more to express politeness and importance.
The topics they talked about were unimportant, mostly Miss Selina talking while Yolanda Taylor smiled and listened.
She had been like this since she was a child, she didn’t like to talk much, she just liked to listen to others.
At this time, Miss Selina asked out of the blue, “At the risk of asking, Miss Taylor, is FG’s President Fox your husband?”
Yolanda Taylor didn’t expect her to ask this question and couldn’t help but be stunned for a moment, but it was only for a short second, and she soon responded, “It’s my husband.”
“Ah, that really is a long time coming, Mrs. Fox.”
Yolanda Taylor raised an eyebrow lightly, “Miss Selina?”
“Kind of a coincidence, my fiancé’s company wants to work with President Fox on a project.”
“That’s a real coincidence.”
Miss Selina was also bright and open, “I have an unfavorable request.”
As she said that, she took out the proposal she kept inside her bag.
Yolanda Taylor also guessed what she was going to say, but Miss Selina’s attitude didn’t make her half as disgusted.
“Mrs. Fox, I wasn’t one for backdoor deals, but it’s rare to be so lucky. My fiancé really appreciates President Fox, it’s just that President Fox’s vision is really not generally high. But I believe in my fiancé’s ability, so if Mrs. Fox doesn’t make it difficult, I would like you to help me show this proposal to President Fox. Other than that, it’s up to President Fox to decide.”
Actually, Miss Selina’s ungrateful request wasn’t very excessive, and Yolanda Taylor didn’t refuse: “Okay.”
She took the document and didn’t look at it, directly putting it inside her bag, then lowered her head and took a sip of coffee, “I can see that Miss Selina loves your fiancé very much.”
Miss Selina didn’t deny it, she held her coffee and watched Yolanda Taylor while smiling and sipping her coffee.
Overall, the meeting was cordial.
Yolanda Taylor sent a message to Gwen Fox after she left, she was still waiting for her car when Gwen Fox’s call came, “I’m coming over?”
“Don’t bother, I’ll just take it back to you.”
“Okay, then you come back early.”
Yolanda Taylor laughed a little, “President Fox, Miss Selina’s wedding is in three days, I’ll have to wait until after the wedding if I come back any earlier.”
“The wedding is at night?”
“Uh-huh.”
She glanced down at the tips of her shoes just as an empty cab passed, and Yolanda Taylor froze, trying to stop it, but it was too late.
“I know.”
He said huskily and Yolanda Taylor raised an eyebrow, “I’m taking a cab back, nothing I’m hanging up.”
“Be safe.” “Uh-huh.”
Hanging up, Yolanda Taylor went back to the store and turned on her computer to catch up on that chart.
It was just after eight in the evening when Zara suddenly told her that someone had given her a card ticket.
Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but frown a little, “Who gave it to you?”
“A little kid, he put down the card ticket and said to give it to you and left.”
Yolanda Taylor reached out and took the card, “I see, go about your business.”
Zara didn’t dare pry into her personal affairs, she nodded and headed out, still thinking about those template drawings from Yolanda Taylor.
