Zanaya’s POV
“Arrgggghh!” I grunted as I threw my phone across the bed.
It has been two days since Seth and his members went to our dorm and that was the last day the two of us had any contact with each other.
He did not sent me a message eversince nor even inform me that they’ve arrived to their dorm safely.
What’s even worse is that our own dorm had been in chaos.
Max was always in her room and had been a little moody while Cali kept on fiddling with her phone.
Well, Tokyo Tokyo is the same, still being weird and all.
But then I’m starting to get worried.
Seth never fails to send me a message every day, no matter how busy he is or even when he’s abroad.
The news came out that his boss was sent to the hospital.
Additionally, another scandal of Seth dating Sally had gone over the internet.
Now, Seth is getting a lot of hate because people are accusing him of being a player, for playing with me and Sally.
But I’m not mad over it.
He told me to trust him and I will.
There’s got to be some explanation over it.
Though my heart shattered a bit when I saw some of the articles.
Every time I see a comment of a fan shipping them, I feel like my heart is going to burst.
That feeling of not being able to tell the world that you own that person, it’s heartbreaking.
It’s so painful that you just want to breakdown and cry but you just couldn’t.
Why? Because it’s useless and is scrutinizingly painful.
And though we’ve just been together for a short amount of time, I’ve decided to fully trust him.
I knew he was being true to me. I felt how much painful it is for him to not see me.
The way he hugs me, the way he gives me those kisses, I can feel his longing.
I know that he cares for me. That’s why I am trusting him.
I will trust you, Seth.
While I was checking on my phone, I heard some knocking on my door before it went open.
I looked up and saw Cali.
“Hey, is there a problem?”
She looked at me worriedly.
“I just want to check on you. Has Sethcontacted you?” she said as she walked towards me.
She then sat on the corner of my bed as I try to sit.
A sigh escaped my lips.
I stared at her and realized that she looked a little lost herself.
“He hasn’t contacted me yet. But,” I stopped myself as I looked at her worriedly. “Are you okay?”
She then avoided my gaze.
“I am. Just, a little tired and all.”
My gut feeling says that she’s not telling the truth but I don’t think that telling those words to her right now is the best thing to do.
I was so caught up with my own problems that I think I had been neglecting my members too much.
Cali seemed to be having some problems and I haven’t even realized.
Without a second thought, I moved towards her and wrapped around my arms on her body.
I hugged her real tight and I felt her do the same.
Silence filled the room as we both hug each other.
Somehow, I felt relieved about staying with her.
“Zanaya..”
“Hmmm?”
She stayed silent for a minute before she released me from our hug.
“Do you-ahmm” I saw her gulped, unable to finish what she wants to say.
I noticed how she started fiddling with the hem of her dress and her eyes no longer focused on my direction.
“What is it?” I asked her worriedly.
She looked at me, her eyes looked helpless. “Do you really trust Seth?”
I bite my lips at her question.
Is she acting this way because she doesn’t trust Seth?
“I do, Cali. I trust him.” I smiled at her for assurance. “I trust him so much that I am not getting affected by all these articles online.”
“Are you sure?” she asked.
“Yes. But why are you asking?”
“It’s just that, his name is always being connected with Sally and it feels so weird.”
I smiled at her.
“I know, but I still trust him. He asked me to trust him and I will do that.”
Though I’ve already answered her question, my inner self still feels like there’s something wrong. And I started to get worried, my stomach feeling a little uneasy.
“Cali, do you know something?” I raised my eyebrows at her.
She looked at me, and I swear she looked like she’s battling with her inner self.
“Cali…” I looked at her sternly.
She bit her lower lip as she stares at the floor.
“You know that we’re friends with her group right?”
I nodded.
“And that they aren’t mean or anything.”
Again, I nodded not knowing where this conversation is heading to.
Regardless of my jealousy over Sally, that doesn’t affect the fact that both of our groups are good friends.
She looked a little hesitant but I stared at her.
She gulped.
“Seri definitely told me that Seth and Sally were dating.”
After hearing what she said, I balled my fist in anger.
“Seth will not cheat on me,” I said to her but more to myself.
“Actually, they’ve been dating for more than a year. Or was it two years already?”
My shoulder fell after hearing what she said. I felt like a bucket of ice was thrown at me. My body stiffens as I’m unable to move.
I felt my heart beat a little faster in nervousness.
Was he dating Sally even before we got married?
Then, that means he actually loves her.
But why did he do all these things for me?
Before I knew it, my tears started to fall on my cheeks.
Why?
I never asked him to like me.
Even after we got married, I never once contacted him and asked for anything.
I clearly said that it was fine if he has a girlfriend. I clearly showed him that I’m fine being alone.
Sally was nothing to me. I remember his words.
What lies.
Why did he have to trouble himself by pretending to like me?
“Yah, Zanaya..” Cali looked at me worriedly.
We were startled after my door burst open, Tokyo came rushing in.
Her face filled with shock and worry.
“Hey…” she muttered as she looked at the both of us.
She then moved forward and looked at me worriedly.
I stared at her phone.
“No…” I said as if knowing that she saw something that will really make me upset.
My eyes are filled with tears.
But then, I reached for her phone.
She hesitated for a moment but gave it otherwise.

My eyes scanned the photos and saw them holding hands.
They were both wearing a mask. Seth was wearing a beanie while Sally was wearing a cap.
Though their face was hidden, I am definitely sure that it was Seth.
“Zanaya…”
I did not respond.
My whole world stopped for a moment and the only thing that I can hear is my heart shattering into pieces.
Why did he do this to me?
Was everything a lie?
I mean, the late-night snacks, the sneaking at 3 am, the midnight burning of phone lines, those sweet nothings… Are those all games for him?
I cried my heart out as Tokyo and Cali hugged me.
“Cali….” I said as I cry real hard. My tears flowing like a river on my cheeks.
It was so painful and my throat started to hurt as well.
I feel like my world is crumbling down before me.
He told me to trust him, but why did he break my heart?
