At this time a waiter passed by and Heather took a glass of juice and handed it to Yolanda Taylor’s eyes, “Don’t touch the wine if you’re one sip down.”
Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but be a little embarrassed as she watched Heather take the wine out of her hand and had to hold on to the juice she had shoved into her hand.
Heather seemed to be just planning on coming over to say hello, and after she replaced the red wine in Yolanda Taylor’s hand, she took it in her own hand and walked away, “I’m off, you guys carry on.”
She was wearing a near-skin colored dress today that showed off a large portion of her back.
Yolanda Taylor looked at her thin back, the exposed flesh and bone was well-proportioned, smooth and white, the two piping bones slightly protruded, but it was skinny and not shapeless, the spine groove in the middle stretched all the way out, and finally was hidden in the carving of that skin color.
She was a woman, and all looked a little bewildered.
“You can’t drink, Mrs. Fox?”
Jane in front of her spoke before Yolanda Taylor withdrew her gaze, “I’m not a good drinker.”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you weren’t a good drinker.”
“It’s okay.”
She smiled faintly, looking down and taking a sip of her juice.
“Mrs. Fox and Heather seem to have a good relationship.” Yolanda Taylor looked up at her with a smile on her face and didn’t say anything, Jane didn’t mind, “Don’t mind if I do, I’m just envious that you guys are so close, Heather doesn’t seem to like me very much.”
She said, lowering her head with a lost look on her face.
This Jane, at a young age, her heart is not small.
“Heather’s personality is like that, there’s no one in particular that she likes, no one in particular that she dislikes.”
“Is that so? I was worried that if I didn’t get along with her later, Ham Rodriguez would be caught in the middle of it left and right!”
Yolanda Taylor took another sip of her juice, “Heather doesn’t live with Ham Rodriguez, you don’t have to worry about that.”
She said and paused, “Maybe, Heather will get married sooner than you guys!”
“Does Heather have a boyfriend? I asked Ham Rodriguez and Ham Rodriguez said no, so it seems like Heather is hiding it pretty well!”
Yolanda Taylor was actually not the kind of person who liked to be nosy, but she and Heather were kind of like-minded, so she didn’t veto anyone, “Not much people know, you don’t want to tell Ham Rodriguez!”
When Jane heard her words, she quickly raised her hand to cover her mouth and looked at her with a pair of eyes like bronze bells, “Don’t worry, I won’t talk nonsense! It’s just that I don’t know which family’s man can actually make Heather look at him!”
This little gesture of Jane’s seemed cute as hell to men who didn’t know any better, but to Yolanda Taylor, it seemed contrived and disgusting.
Still, she smiled a little, “It’s a good man.”
She lied without batting an eye, and Jane probably believed it, which would probably reach Ham Rodriguez’s ears later.
Just because a woman says she won’t tell anyone means she won’t tell anyone she doesn’t know well, but that doesn’t mean she won’t tell anyone close to her.
Jane had gone to great lengths to get a word in edgewise with her, and Yolanda Taylor wasn’t going to let her down.
Her phone vibrated and Yolanda Taylor glanced down at her small bag, it was a message from Heather, simple and crude: watch out for Jane the green tea!
She couldn’t help but hook her lips in a smile and looked up to find Heather leaning against the railing on the second floor, smoking a cigarette.
It wasn’t the first time Yolanda Taylor had seen Heather smoking, but it was the first time Yolanda Taylor had ever realized that Heather smoked in such a sexy way.
She didn’t want to deal with Jane anymore, “I’m going to go find Gwen Fox.”
“Ah, I’ll leave you guys alone then!”
Jane said and winked at her as if the two were on good terms.
Yolanda Taylor laughed and waved her hand up before turning around and walking inside the crowd.
Looking at Yolanda Taylor’s back, the smile on Jane’s face disappeared in an instant.
She looked up at Heather, who was smoking a cigarette on the second floor, and a hint of calculation flashed in the bottom of her eyes before she carried her skirt up to the second floor.
Yolanda Taylor walks up to Gwen Fox and Ham Rodriguez gives her a look, raises his glass with Gwen Fox, and then walks away.
The last time Yolanda Taylor kicked him, Ham Rodriguez is a very petty person, until now, he has remembered, but he can’t find Yolanda Taylor to settle the score, so he can only have a cold face with Yolanda Taylor.
Yolanda Taylor also does not care, she also do not treat Ham Rodriguez, a hill of raccoons, are not good people.
Gwen Fox took a sip of her red wine and inclined her head to look at her, “You’re not happy?”
“Is Ham Rodriguez really going to marry Jane?” Yolanda Taylor wasn’t big on following other people’s business, and if it wasn’t for Heather, and the fact that that Jane was just so good at pretending, she wouldn’t have much of a nose for gossip.
“Not sure.”
Ham Rodriguez relationship things, he do not ask, unlike them women, like to talk about feelings.
“Oh.”
Yolanda Taylor answered, and suddenly heard a scream from the stairs not far away.
She was stunned for a moment and subconsciously looked over, but there were too many people for her to see.
Yolanda Taylor had a not-so-good feeling as she glanced at Gwen Fox, “I want to go over there.”
“I’ll take you over.”
Gwen Fox didn’t say no and led her through the crowd.
On the flat in the middle of the stairs, Ham Rodriguez was there holding Jane.
Jane, however, didn’t let him, she pushed him, “Ham Rodriguez, I’m fine.”
Yolanda Taylor, however, didn’t care about the two men, she subconsciously looked over to the stairway, where Heather stood, her hand shaking with a cigarette, her palm-sized face white and cold.
For some reason, she was suddenly reminded of herself a few years ago.
Yolanda Taylor broke away from Gwen Fox’s hand and ran up the stairs.
The people onstage pointed out nothing more than that Heather was arrogant, and a few off-color remarks.
There were some people in the ring who knew about Ham Rodriguez and Heather.
But most people don’t know much about it, just like Yolanda Taylor herself, who only knows that Heather loves Ham Rodriguez, and Ham Rodriguez seems to love Heather.
Yolanda Taylor walked slowly, and before she could even get in front of Heather’s eyes, both Ham Rodriguez and Jane were already in front of her.
“Heather, why are you pushing me?”
Jane was in Ham Rodriguez’s arms, crying her eyes out.
Yolanda Taylor stood a few steps away from them on the steps, and Gwen Fox pulled her back.
Ham Rodriguez suddenly tugged on Heather, “Apologize.”
“I didn’t push her.”
“Heather, it was clearly you who just-”
“I told you to apologize!”
Ham Rodriguez pulled her again and Yolanda Taylor looked at Heather and just felt bad, she glared back at Gwen Fox, “Get off me!”
Gwen Fox let go of her hand at her glare and Yolanda Taylor ran up.
She raised her hand to hold Heather’s and realized her hand was shaking.
Seeing her coming, Heather smiled at her, “This is farce isn’t it?”
Yolanda Taylor looked at her with that look in her eyes and just felt a pang in her heart, “It’s fine, we’ll just go.”
“You’re not going to apologize are you Heather?”
But Ham Rodriguez didn’t let them go, he crossed in front of the two, his eyes coldly looking at Heather.
With all the talk from the stage, Yolanda Taylor only felt her hand growing cold inside her palm, and halfway through the conversation, she heard Heather beside her speak, “I’m sorry Miss White, my hand just slipped.”
She said, letting out a laugh and sidestepping past Ham Rodriguez down the stairs.
The apology wasn’t sincere at all, and Ham Rodriguez was clearly enraged, but Jane pulled him along, “Ham Rodriguez, forget it, I’m not hurt – hiss!”
“Where does it hurt?”
Ham Rodriguez glanced at Heather’s back and finally withdrew his gaze.
