The car soon stopped in front of the villa, and Yolanda Taylor pushed open the door herself.
The wedding dress she was wearing was very complicated, and it wasn’t good to get out of the car.
When Gwen Fox came over, Yolanda Taylor glanced at him and saw him reach out, but she didn’t say anything.
The villa lights were red, Gwen Fox let the bellhop stay until now, and the porridge was still warm inside the kitchen.
He followed her carrying the hem of her wedding dress and asked her, “Are you hungry?”
Yolanda Taylor had hardly eaten anything the whole day, except for a bowl of porridge in the afternoon, so it was impossible for her not to be hungry.
This villa was newly bought by Gwen Fox, she hadn’t seen it before and today was the first time she had come over.
She didn’t take a close look at the décor of this villa in the afternoon, and it wasn’t until she came out after taking off her wedding dress and removing her makeup that she realized that this room was almost identical to the room setup of the villa she burned down back then.
Yolanda Taylor stood in the doorway of the bathroom, as if she had been transported back to the day of the fire.
At this time, Gwen Fox came in with porridge and saw her standing in the bathroom doorway, her eyebrows moved, “What’s wrong with you, not feeling well?”
Hearing her words, Yolanda Taylor snapped back to her senses and inclined her head to look at him, “Gwen Fox, do you know what the two places I hate the most are?”
He had just put the tray down in his hands when he heard Yolanda Taylor say that, he straightened up and looked at her, “Where?”
“The cottage we were just in together and the one I burned down back in the day.”
She finished, lifting her leg and walking over to the table and sitting down, reaching inside the tray and taking a bowl of porridge out.
Gwen Fox glanced down at her with a bad look inside her dark eyes.
Although he had already guessed what she wanted to say, it was another matter to actually hear it.
Back then, she directly burned down that villa with a single fire, and everything inside turned into ashes.
Now he tried to recreate everything, but he didn’t want to be a joke in Yolanda Taylor’s eyes.
Yolanda Taylor stopped talking and sat at the table, drinking porridge with her head down.
Inside the room turned on the heater, she was wearing a white turtleneck sweater, blowing half-dry hair tied casually behind her back, the side of the face is meek, but only he knows, her eyes inside all cold.
He looked at her for a while, did not walk over to disturb her eating, and headed inside the room himself.
Yolanda Taylor ate a small pot of porridge, and her vaguely aching stomach was no longer uncomfortable.
She sat on top of that chair and inclined her head to look inside, her face as cool as water.
Gwen Fox pushed the door and came out from inside the bathroom, she inclined her eyes to him for a moment, “Where is my room?”
With that, she paused, “Or where is your room?”
Hearing her say that, Gwen Fox frowned, “Are you trying to backtrack?”
“I’m not backing out, I only promised not to separate from you, but I didn’t promise to sleep with you.”
“We’re married, Yolanda Taylor!” His face went cold and he took two steps towards her.
Yolanda Taylor had rarely seen him angry before, Gwen Fox had a particularly bad temper, he had been moody most of the three years she had been with him, but she had a good temper, and those who knew her said they had never seen her with such a good temper.
When she was with him, whenever she saw him frown, she would know better than to continue a topic that displeased him.
But this wasn’t the old days, and she didn’t have to take care of and care about his moods like she used to.
“I didn’t marry you of my own free will!”
“You have wifely obligations!”
“Having sex without your wife’s consent is called marital rape!”
As soon as her words left her mouth, Gwen Fox’s face sank.
He looked at her, his black eyes as cold as ice.
His patience all these days was fake, and now was the real him.
Yolanda Taylor had known it for a long time, the person in charge of THE Fox family, where like someone who would lower his voice.
“Are you playing word games with me, Yolanda Taylor?”
He looked straight at her, his black eyes were like an abyss, the inside was cold and bottomless, and it sent chills down the spine.
Yolanda Taylor was actually still a little afraid of him, she had seen too many of his tactics in the three years she had been with him.
“I’m telling the truth.”
But there was no way she was going to back down on this one.
“The truth?”
Gwen Fox gritted her teeth for a moment, “Do you really want to marry me that badly?”
“Gwen Fox, before you ask that question, won’t you think about what you’ve done to yourself? If you weren’t so despicable, I would already be Primo Jones’ wife by now, maybe by this time, Primo Jones and I even have a child!”
“You shut up!”
Gwen Fox’s eyes clouded over when she heard that.
The sight wrapped around her like a viper, so grim that it sent shivers down her spine.
Yolanda Taylor turned away her eyes, “I don’t want to argue with you, I’m done with the wedding, I hope you remember what you said.”
With that, she turned and walked over to the door, pulling it open and trying to walk to the next room.
But no sooner had she pulled the door open than Gwen Fox took the first step and hugged her back, “Dear, let’s not argue, okay?”
He hugged her from behind, wrapping his arms around her body as if he was trying to nestle her inside of him.
Yolanda Taylor blinked and held back the tears, “I didn’t think about fighting with you, we’re not going to settle this with a fight.” There was a human life between them, and even if they had fought, this thing, they still wouldn’t be able to get past it.
That person was no one, it was the mom who gave birth to her and raised her.
Thinking about this, that despair was like pouring rain raining down on her, leaving her with nowhere to run.
“You can’t go anywhere tonight, you can only be here!”
He said, bending down and picking her right up.
Yolanda Taylor was placed on the bed by him, her lower body pressed so tightly against his legs that she couldn’t move even if she wanted to.
Gwen Fox hung over her and looked down at her, the darkness inside his eyes seemed to dissipate, only a darkness remained, “Tonight is our first night of marriage, Dear.”
He said, suddenly leaning down to press next to her ear.
“Let’s not fight, okay?”
He begged humbly, as if he were a child who couldn’t beg for candy.
Yolanda Taylor just felt something pressing on her heart, and it was hard to even breathe.
She raised her hand and pushed him, “Let go of me for a second.”
He didn’t move, just laying on her ear.
Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help herself, “You’re crushing me hard!”
Only when he heard her say this did Gwen Fox let go and lifted up to look at her for a moment, “It’s okay if I don’t move you, so you can sleep here, is that okay?”
His voice was a little muffled and still a little deep when he said this.
Yolanda Taylor gave him a look, “Gwen Fox, I won’t forgive you, just die.”
After she said that, she pushed him away with force, then turned herself on her side and pulled the quilt aside to cover herself up.
