Yolanda Taylor came out of nowhere and several of the employees inside the store looked towards her.
Gwen Fox glanced at the employees inside the store and frowned a little, lifting her leg and walking over to her car, opening the door and then standing there looking at her.
Yolanda Taylor calmed down as well and stepped inside the store, only instead of getting into Gwen Fox’s car, she walked outside to the road, ready to stop the car.
Gwen Fox watched her back, raised her hand and closed the car door, then followed.
“Don’t you follow me!”
Yolanda Taylor’s face was very cold when she saw him approach.
“We’re married.”
“You forced me to tie the knot!”
Thinking about being married, Yolanda Taylor looked up at him, “What else do you want, Gwen Fox?”
“To have dinner together.”
“I don’t want to see you.”
People were coming and going on the streets and she didn’t really want to argue with Gwen Fox at this point.
He suddenly stopped talking and just looked at her.
It was a long time before Gwen Fox spoke, “I’ll take you home.”
“No, I’ll take a taxi.”
At that moment, a cab just happened to come by, and Yolanda Taylor raised her hand and waved it down.
She pulled open the door and was ready to get in, but Gwen Fox reached out and stopped it, “You’ve got a lot of reporters downstairs.”
“Doesn’t matter.”
They can do what they like.
With that said, she pushed his hand away, then lifted her leg and got in the car.
Yolanda Taylor slammed the door behind her once she was in the car and gave the name of her apartment to the driver, and the cab drove off quickly.
Gwen Fox stood there, looking at the taxi as it drove away, and it took him a long moment to withdraw his gaze and turn around to walk back to his car, which was parked in front of Yolanda Taylor’s store.
When the driver saw him get into the car, he looked up at the rearview mirror and was about to ask Gwen Fox where he was going, but when he saw the face in the mirror, the driver’s face froze and he didn’t dare to speak.
After work rush hour, when the taxi stopped under the apartment building it was already more than twenty minutes later, Yolanda Taylor just got off the car and there were quite a few reporters gathered around.
She walked forward with a cold face, but within a few steps, those reporters ran to her eyes and stopped her.
“Miss Taylor, may I ask if it’s true about you and Young Master Fox getting married?”
“Miss Taylor, obviously you got engaged to President Jones only two months ago in a high profile, why did you run away from the wedding a few days ago before the wedding, is it really because you have rekindled your old love with Young Master Fox?”
“Miss Taylor, I heard that you were forced to marry Young Master Fox, so what kind of leverage does Young Master Fox have in his hands that he can force you to marry her?” Several gossip journalists were talking to each other and Yolanda Taylor was stopped by them and couldn’t get out at all.
Just as she was about to reach for her cell phone to call the police again, the black Lincoln stopped at the curb.
The door opened and the man’s long, slender legs stepped to the ground as Gwen Fox stepped out of the car.
He walked behind Yolanda Taylor expressionlessly, his black eyes coolly swept the five or six gossip reporters in front of him, “What do you want to ask?”
Those few people were the ones who came back to squat Yolanda Taylor because they didn’t dare to face Gwen Fox, and now that Gwen Fox appeared, they dispersed all of a sudden.
The reporter in front of Yolanda Taylor finally left, she directly lifted her leg and walked inside the apartment.
Gwen Fox followed her, and when she got to the door, he stopped and didn’t follow her in.
Yolanda Taylor unlocked the door and lifted her leg as she walked to the elevator.
Gwen Fox, who had just followed her, stopped outside the door, and she frowned a little, inclining her head to see him looking at her.
Yolanda Taylor withdrew her gaze, and at the same time, the elevator doors opened in response, and she lifted her leg and walked in.
Only after seeing her enter the elevator did Gwen Fox take out her cell phone and make a call.
Seeing that it was Gwen Fox’s call, Lewis hurriedly pressed the answer button, “Hello, President Fox?”
“The media side is taken care of.”
“Okay, President Fox.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, the person on the other end of the phone pinched the call.
Lewis looked at the cell phone in his hand, looking more and more at Gwen Fox.
When things first started, he wanted to take care of the media, but Gwen Fox told him that he didn’t need to take care of it, so that was it, so he didn’t care about it, but unexpectedly, it was only less than two days ago that Gwen Fox’s phone call came, asking him to take care of the media side of things.
Lewis frowned a little and reached for his cell phone and dialed.
Yolanda Taylor went home and casually made a packet of instant noodles, after eating it she turned on the computer and wanted to change the wedding pictures, but when the computer was turned on, she couldn’t concentrate at all.
There were too many things going through her mind, and she couldn’t calm down at all.
Today Beth Garcia came over to find her, there was no way she was just here to ask her about marrying Gwen Fox.
She could tell that Beth Garcia was torn between saying it or not.
When Yolanda Taylor returned to the store the next day, there were no more reporters around, nor was there any near the apartment.
Suddenly no one was staring at her, which must be because Gwen Fox had spoken.
She’d thought he’d drag his feet for a day or two, but she hadn’t realized he’d let Lewis settle the matter last night.
But even so, she wouldn’t have appreciated it, and if it hadn’t been for him, she wouldn’t have had so many people staring at her.
After that day, Yolanda Taylor didn’t see Gwen Fox for several days.
As January rolled around, there were more and more people coming to the store every day for advice.
Yolanda Taylor almost always stayed in the store until it closed at night before returning to her apartment. Today was Saturday, so there were more people in the plaza, and there were already three couples outside.
Yolanda Taylor had just finished revising a design when CoCo came in.
“Boss Yolanda.”
“What’s up?”
“There’s someone outside looking for you.”
Hearing her words, Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but frown, “Who is it?”
CoCo shook her head, “Someone I haven’t seen before, I don’t know, she said she was sent here by President Fox.”
This Borden City’s President Fox, besides Gwen Fox, who else could it be.
Yolanda Taylor’s face cooled down, “I know, you invite the person in.”
CoCo nodded and retreated.
Soon, the person was led in by CoCo.
It was a woman, or a young woman, a beautiful young woman.
Yolanda Taylor let go of the paintbrush in her hand, “And you are?”
“Hello Miss Taylor, I’m Vivian Perot, cousin of Jerome Perot, YM’s wedding dress designer.”
Yolanda Taylor caught the point at once, “Wedding dress designer?”
Vivian Perot smiled and nodded her head a little, “Yes, Miss Taylor, I was asked by President Fox to come here to design your wedding dress, I don’t know what do you have in mind for your wedding dress?”
Hearing Vivian Perot’s words, Yolanda Taylor’s face obviously changed for a moment, but the person in front of her was Vivian Perot, not Gwen Fox, she was still calm: “Miss Vivian sorry, it seems like I have to let you come all the way here for nothing today, I think there’s some kind of misunderstanding in this matter, I will communicate with Gwen Fox to communicate well.”
Vivian Perot was already mentally prepared before she came, and although Yolanda Taylor’s face changed a bit just now, her attitude was always very good, “That’s okay, I won’t bother you then, Miss Taylor.”
“CoCo, see Miss Vivian off.”
