Gwen Fox blanched for a moment and withdrew her hand pursing her thin lips without another word.
Yolanda Taylor didn’t want to get close to him and walked forward at a half-arm’s length, so that the two people who were so estranged didn’t look like they were here to get a marriage license in any way.
When doing the formalities, Yolanda Taylor’s eyes were still red, the staff looked at her, not knowing why, suddenly opened her mouth and asked, “Are you being forced?”
As soon as the staff member’s words fell, Yolanda Taylor’s hand was pinched.
She inclined her head to look at Gwen Fox on the side and coldly spoke, “No.”
The staff glanced at her and then at Gwen Fox on the side, thinking that the two people did look quite compatible, but why was the girl’s reaction so cold.
But since they had already said no, she no longer dwelled on it.
After stamping the seal, the staff handed the two freshly made marriage licenses to the two people.
Yolanda Taylor reached out and took the marriage license, she couldn’t help but be stunned for a moment, after so many years, how could she not expect that she would actually marry Gwen Fox.
Married in the legal sense.
But how ironic, back then they didn’t get married when they were in love, and now that they were in love and hate, they came to get a marriage license.
She looked down at the photo on the marriage license, the photo of Gwen Fox was rarely smiling, his face, whether smiling or not, is extremely good-looking.
But not her, her eyes were still red and her cold face was completely devoid of any hint of wedding festivity.
“Let’s give the window to someone else first, Dear.”
Gwen Fox beside her pulled her back, and Yolanda Taylor snapped back to her senses, closing the marriage license in her palm before getting up and walking out.
Just as she walked out of the civil office, Gwen Fox suddenly reached his hand over, “Give me the marriage license.”
Hearing his words, Yolanda Taylor couldn’t help but sneer, “What are you afraid of? Afraid I’ll tear up the marriage license?” He evaded her question and looked at her with a look that was a little bit coaxing and a little bit pleading.
Yolanda Taylor didn’t give it to him, she just reached out and tried to tear up that marriage license.
However Gwen Fox moved faster than she did and he snatched the marriage license right out of her hand.
She didn’t expect him to move so fast, at first she couldn’t catch it steadily, she was stunned for a moment as she watched the marriage license being snatched by him, after she reacted, she reached out and tried to snatch it back, “Give it back to me!”
She couldn’t grab it, and tilted her head back to look at him dead in the eye.
Gwen Fox put the marriage license directly into the inside pocket of her coat before she spoke, “Come on, I’ll take you back to Borden City tomorrow.”
Yolanda Taylor’s anger that she had been holding for over an hour exploded at this point, she finally couldn’t help herself and rummaged through his clothes like a madwoman, “You give it back to me Gwen Fox you give it back to me!”
Her voice was louder than one, and in the end she was even a little hysterical.
But no matter how she shouted, Gwen Fox was unmoved.
He just stood there, one hand holding up the umbrella and the other blocking her hand.
Yolanda Taylor wasn’t as strong as he was, couldn’t pull his hand away, and she couldn’t even touch the pockets inside.
In the end, she stopped touching the marriage license, and she grabbed him by the collar and whacked him one by one: “You’re despicable, Gwen Fox, you’re disgusting! You say you love me, but everything you do from start to finish is painful and embarrassing! You don’t love me at all, you love yourself!”
She pushed him away and fell out of the umbrella.
Seeing her about to fall, Gwen Fox subconsciously reaches out and pulls her back.
Yolanda Taylor was pulled back into his arms, and she bumped her nose against his chest, and it hurt.
Tears fell from her eyes, her anger and desperation mingling as she stood on her tiptoes and bit right into his neck.
Yolanda Taylor used all her strength in that bite, and by the time she let go, she had blood on her teeth.
After letting go, she seemed to have calmed down, only her pair of almond eyes were all filled with scarlet anger and hate.
She looked at him fiercely, didn’t say anything, turned around and ran back to the car.
The two had just made a scene outside, and the clothes on Yolanda Taylor were quite wet from the rain.
Gwen Fox was afraid that she would catch a cold, so she took a dry towel from inside the box in the back and reached out to help her wipe the rain mist off her clothes.
But he didn’t want Yolanda Taylor’s whole body to tremble, “Don’t touch me!”
Her resistance was like a thorn that pierced straight into his eyes.
Gwen Fox lowered his eyes, hiding that vulnerability before he raised them again, “I’m not touching you, so wipe the rain off your clothes yourself.”
Yolanda Taylor inclined her head at him, her face nothing but cold, “I’m going back to Borden City right now!” “You wipe the rain off.”
He didn’t say yes or no.
Yolanda Taylor didn’t move either, just looked at him.
The two stared at each other for about ten seconds before Gwen Fox finally spoke, “Fine, I’ll have someone walk you back this afternoon.”
“I’m going by myself!”
“I’ll have someone walk you.”
Without another word, Yolanda Taylor reached for the towel he was holding and began to wipe the rain off herself.
It had been raining a little hard outside, and it was getting quite a bit of rain on her.
The towel was absorbent, and after wiping it off, the towel was already semi-wet.
After the car returned to the villa, she didn’t wait for Gwen Fox to get out of the car, she already pushed open the car door and ran inside, and then directly ran up to the master bedroom on the third floor.
She had just taken off her jacket when Gwen Fox pushed the door in, “I’ve booked your ticket for three o’clock in the afternoon.”
“Well, you can get out now.”
She really didn’t want to see him for more than a glance, Gwen Fox stood for two seconds, but finally turned around and left the room.
It was still raining outside, and he fished inside the inside pocket of his jacket for the marriage license he’d just recently gotten.
No matter what she said about him, she was his wife now, and there was no way to change that fact.
Yolanda Taylor on the photo didn’t smile at all, her face was a little white, her eyes were red and he felt her rejection even though it was on top of the photo.
Rejection was rejection, any more rejection, she was his wife now, and she couldn’t marry Primo Jones again.
He gave a rare smile at the thought.
Just at this time, the man guarding the door downstairs ran up all of a sudden, “President Fox?”
Gwen Fox collected the smile on his face and put the marriage license in his hand back inside his pocket.
Only after doing this did he incline his head to look at the man in front of him, “What is it?”
“There are several cars coming outside, and it looks like they’re coming for Miss Taylor.”
Gwen Fox frowned at the man’s words.
He pulled the balcony door open and stepped out to take a look, just in time to see Primo Jones walk out from inside the black sedan.
Gwen Fox’s face turned cold, “Don’t let them come up!”
But just as his words fell, Primo Jones had already turned out from the stairs, “Where’s Yolanda?!”
Gwen Fox looked at him, her thin lips pursed slightly, “President Jones really likes to break into people’s homes.”
Primo Jones, however, didn’t want to bullshit him and walked right up to him, “Where’s Yolanda!”
