Chapter 132 You, threatening me?

Book:Welcome To My Life Published:2024-6-3

Yolanda Taylor counted the days passing by seven, since the change of location, Gwen Fox didn’t seem to be keeping her prisoner inside her room anymore, and she did go out once, after seeing the people guarding the door as well as the surveillance installed all around.
The weather had been bad for the past two days, it had been raining, not too much, just a fine drizzle, and it was cold and chilly.
She had just finished breakfast when Gwen Fox pushed her way in.
Yolanda Taylor looked up at him and drew a tissue to wipe the corner of her mouth.
She ignored him, as she always did.
Today, however, Gwen Fox spoke out of the blue, “Go somewhere with me and I’ll take you back to Borden City tomorrow.”
Hearing him say this, Yolanda Taylor stops and looks back at him, “Where to?”
He doesn’t say, “It’s cold out, so put on some more clothes.”
After saying that, he walks over to a couch and sits down, then looks up at her.
Yolanda Taylor doesn’t know what he’s playing at again, but since he said it, he’s sending her back to Borden City after tomorrow.
She could go back to Borden City tomorrow, and she didn’t care what he was doing today; nothing she did would help anyway.
She inclined her head to look out the floor-to-ceiling window, it was wet outside and there was a light drizzle in the air.
Even though she hadn’t been outside, she could tell it was really cold.
Yolanda Taylor retracted her line of sight, went into the checkroom and took thick clothes to change into, on her way out, she saw the hat on the side, after hesitating for a while, Yolanda Taylor still put it on.
Gwen Fox wasn’t on the couch when she walked out.
She thought he had gone out until she heard the door open on the balcony, and Yolanda Taylor realized he had gone to the balcony.
He had just smoked a cigarette, but it was windy outside, and when he came in, he didn’t smell like smoke very much anymore.
Gwen Fox stubbed out the cigarette that was only half smoked in his hand before looking up at her, “Come on.” He said, raising his hand to try and lead her.
Yolanda Taylor directly put her hands into her pockets, then turned around with a cold face and walked out the door.
Gwen Fox withdrew her hand and raised her leg to catch up with her.
It was raining outside, so Gwen Fox grabbed her umbrella from the bucket next to the doorway and opened it, stepping out ahead of her and waiting for her.
Yolanda Taylor glanced at the bucket and saw that the only umbrella in it was in Gwen Fox’s hand, so she bent over and ducked under his umbrella.
The car was parked outside, the rain blowing in on the wind, and Gwen Fox angled his umbrella to block Yolanda Taylor, leaving only her shoulders exposed.
The driver stood with his umbrella and opened the door, and Yolanda Taylor bent into the car, Gwen Fox bending in after her.
As soon as she entered the car, she fastened her seatbelt and moved towards the door, her whole body almost sticking to the door.
Inside the two-meter wide car, the two of them were still half a meter apart, so you can imagine how much she wanted to stay away from him.
Gwen Fox glanced at the gap between the two people and her face darkened before she opened her mouth to tell the driver to drive.
The car drove slowly, and Yolanda Taylor looked out the window, not really knowing exactly where Gwen Fox was taking her.
It was an hour later when the car stopped.
Gwen Fox inclined her head and looked at her, “It’s raining, don’t get out of the car yet, wait for me to come over with an umbrella.”
The rain outside was a bit heavier than just now, and Yolanda Taylor didn’t want to make things difficult for herself, retracting the hand that was ready to push open the car door.
Gwen Fox got out of the car and quickly came around and opened the door, he stood in front of the car with his umbrella and looked at her, “Come on down.”
Yolanda Taylor followed him out of the car, there weren’t many people on the road on a rainy day.
She looked at the oncoming traffic and gave him a sideways glance, “What the hell did you bring me here for?”
“Watch out for that puddle.”
Instead of answering her question, he lifted his arm around her waist and lifted her up.
Yolanda Taylor frowned and pulled away from his hand after crossing the puddle, “Don’t you touch me like that.”
It made her feel sick!
That was something she managed to hold back, she didn’t want to get into a fight with Gwen Fox here on the side of the road.
After walking for about twenty seconds, when Yolanda Taylor saw the words “Civil Affairs Bureau”, she blanched and stopped, “What did you bring me here for?!”
Her words were trembling, the wind blew over her, her hair fluttered a little.
Gwen Fox lifted her hand to help move the hair away from her lips, but Yolanda Taylor lifted her hand and turned it away, “Don’t touch me!”
“Didn’t you guess?”
Hearing him say this, Yolanda Taylor looked at him incredulously, “Gwen Fox!”
Yolanda Taylor huffed, “You want me to marry you? I think you’re really crazy Gwen Fox!”
She said, turning around and trying to run.
However before she could run away, Gwen Fox had already raised her hand and clasped her wrist, “I’ll send you back to Borden City after you get the license.”
“You let go of me!”
She thought Gwen Fox was really crazy to bring her to the civil office to marry her!
“I’ll show you a video.”
Gwen Fox said and took her cell phone out, then showed her a video.
That video was Primo Jones going into a villa and rummaging around, and Yolanda Taylor didn’t know what Gwen Fox meant.
Seeing her looking over, Gwen Fox then faintly opened his mouth to explain, “The villa lost a million dollar gemstone necklace, Primo Jones trespassed on my private residence, if I sue him, how many years do you think he will be sentenced?” Yolanda Taylor’s eyes widened when she heard him say this and she looked at him as her entire body started to shake.
She bit her lip and spoke with a shudder, “You, threatening me?”
“I didn’t want to, Dear.”
He put the phone back, despair staring inside his dark eyes.
The wind that caught the rain blew over, and Yolanda Taylor stood there, feeling her entire being chill to the core.
She knew that Primo Jones couldn’t have taken any necklace, but it was also true that Primo Jones had illegally invaded Gwen Fox’s house in order to find her.
Gwen Fox must have intentionally revealed his whereabouts for Primo Jones to discover, and then transferred her away before Primo Jones found her, and then attracted Primo Jones to break into the villa, and then planted the evidence that he stole the necklace, and then used it as a way to threaten her to get a marriage license with him.
Two birds with one stone, he was really good!
Yolanda Taylor looked at him, her eyes were red.
The hand at her side tightened and tightened, but in the end she held back.
She raised her hand and wiped the tears inside her eyes, “Don’t you think it’s ridiculous, Gwen Fox?”
With that, she let out a laugh, “Even if you force me to get a license with you, so what, you can’t intervene at all in who I like and love now! Since you’re not afraid of me cuckolding you, let’s tie the knot!”
Gwen Fox thought he had already numbed himself, but he didn’t expect to hear these words from her, but it still hurt so much that he could barely stand it.
But he still laughed a little, “Be good, don’t cry, let’s go in and do the formalities.”
As he said that, he reached down and pulled her wrist over.
As his hand came down, Yolanda Taylor jerked her hand back, “Don’t you touch me, it makes me sick! ”
Since he disgusted her like that, she didn’t care about provoking him.
