Chapter 29 Yolanda Taylor, don’t be cocky.

Book:Welcome To My Life Published:2024-6-3

Martin Anderson upgraded Yolanda Taylor to a VIP room, and there was only Yolanda Taylor inside the room.
After the nurse left, he stood by her bedside for a while, wanting to say something, but his eyes fell on her face, and in the end, he just opened his mouth and said, “Don’t think about it so much, and get some rest.”
After he finished speaking, he wanted to turn around and go downstairs to have a cigarette, but he didn’t want Yolanda Taylor to open her mouth and call out to him all of a sudden, “Martin Anderson.”
Her voice was very soft, probably because the change of heart just now had exhausted all her strength.
“Hungry?”
Yolanda Taylor looked at him, her face white as paper in the light, “Don’t learn from me.”
She finished and gulped, “The only one touched by a moth to a flame is yourself.”
He was holding onto the guardrail of her hospital bed, and the end fingers of his right hand trembled as he heard her words.
Martin Anderson bowed his head, using the light to block the emotion from his face, “Don’t worry, I’m a lot smarter than you are.”
Yolanda Taylor laughed softly, “Smart is good, smart doesn’t hurt.”
She said, inclining her head without looking at him again, “You go back, I want to be alone tonight.”
Martin Anderson looked at her for a moment before speaking, “Call me if you need anything.”
“Thanks.”
“You’re welcome.”
He smiled a little and left the hospital room with the door to his room.
There were hardly any people left in the hospital at ten o’clock at night, and Martin Anderson stood on the floor of the inpatient unit, looking down and lighting a cigarette.
Thinking about what Yolanda Taylor had just said, he narrowed his eyes slightly and couldn’t help but smile a little.
A moth to a flame? But he wasn’t such a great person, he was just, well, more persistent.
Xenia Davis had just arrived at the hospital entrance when she saw Gwen Fox walking out, she pulled the door open and got out of the car, lifting her leg and walking up to his eyes, “How is she?”
Gwen Fox looked up at her, reached out and clamped down the cigarette inside his mouth, his expressionless face covered with a layer of creepy coldness: “My words, did you take them as a whisper?”
Xenia Davis originally came here to ask for punishment, but when she saw Gwen Fox’s expression, she only felt her heart trembling, inexplicably scared, and took a step back, “I didn’t do anything.”
Gwen Fox lightly laughed, her index finger flicked a piece of ash on that cigarette, “You are really interesting, you dare to do it but not to admit it, even Yolanda Taylor is worse than you!”
Xenia Davis had been fighting with Yolanda Taylor for three or four years, Gwen Fox’s words were undoubtedly a bomb, “Boom!”, blowing her out of her mind, “Gwen Fox, what do you mean?!”
“Nothing, take a moment and break off the engagement.”
“Break off the engagement?”
She looked incredulously at the man in front of her, “Gwen Fox, what do you take me for, Xenia Davis, do you think I’m Yolanda Taylor, that rag? You want it or you don’t want it?!”
“Rags?”
Hearing Xenia Davis’ words, Gwen Fox’s brow furrowed for a moment, and then, he lifted his leg and walked straight towards her.
Xenia Davis was a bit afraid of him, and subconsciously stepped back, “What are you going to do? Gwen Fox, don’t be crazy, what happened tonight is already enough of a joke, do you-ah!”
Gwen Fox grimaced as she pressed the cigarette in her hand against her arm, “Next time you can’t talk, I don’t mind teaching you again!!!”
Xenia Davis looked down at her burned red arm, she was so infuriated that she shivered and raised her hand to subconsciously try to hit Gwen Fox, but she was stopped by the other party.
“You lunatic! You break off your engagement with me and you wait for your grandfather to hand FG over to your second brother! You’re nothing without me, Gwen Fox!”
“You think you can stay with Yolanda Taylor just because you broke off your engagement with me? I’m telling you, Gwen Fox, don’t be delusional! Don’t think I don’t know what you’re thinking, you want to use me as a shield, then you have to see if Yolanda Taylor she’s worthy of me giving her-”
“Kata,” the sound of a lighter was particularly jarring at this time.
Gwen Fox relit a cigarette and took a drag, looking at her with a smirk, “Why don’t you say something?”
Xenia Davis blushed, the place she had just been burned by Gwen Fox still hurt now.
Tonight’s Gwen Fox had taken off her disguise and was acting like a madman!
“No more, it doesn’t mean anything, and since you like Yolanda Taylor so much, I’ll wish you a hundred years of good luck.”
Gwen Fox looked at her and laughed all of a sudden, “Xenia Davis, no wonder Jerome Perot never liked you, you like to be self-righteous besides the fact that you can’t spit anything out of this dog’s mouth.”
After he finished, he didn’t care about her anymore, turned around and pulled open the door of the car on the side and got in.
Before Xenia Davis could react, Gwen Fox’s car had already taken off.
She looked down at the place on her wrist where she was burned by the cigarette, hesitated for a while, but still went into the hospital for a simple treatment.
After the treatment, Xenia Davis remembered that tonight’s birthday party was spoiled by Yolanda Taylor, she couldn’t swallow this breath, asked the nurse about Yolanda Taylor’s ward, entered the elevator and went directly to Yolanda Taylor’s ward.
When the door was pushed open, Yolanda Taylor thought it was Martin Anderson.
She turned her head sideways and looked out that window at the moonlight, not turning around or speaking.
Forty days hadn’t even come and gone, in fact nothing had even taken shape, and it was just a puddle of blood when she left.
But Yolanda Taylor still felt like her heart was being plucked out of the flesh, she once naively thought that if she had a child, she would marry Gwen Fox.
She didn’t realize that she was about to face loss just after she learned she was pregnant.
“Miss Taylor, congratulations, you didn’t leave a liability behind.”
Yolanda Taylor blushed at the sound of Xenia Davis’ voice.
She retracted her eyes, turned her head to look at Xenia Davis next to her, and sneered, “Sorry Miss Davis, for stirring up your birthday party.”
Xenia Davis gritted her teeth for a moment, but her expression on her face was half unchanged: “It’s nothing, birthdays happen every year, on the contrary, it’s you, Miss Taylor, this child is gone, and in the future, I don’t know if there is still a possibility to get pregnant!”
Xenia Davis’s words were really vicious, Yolanda Taylor just had a miscarriage and she came to curse her for not being able to conceive a child in the future.
Yolanda Taylor pinched her palm, and only after half a second, she laughed softly, “Didn’t Miss Davis run into Young Master Fox? He shouldn’t have been gone long.”
Hearing her words, Xenia Davis’ face finally changed, “Yolanda Taylor, don’t be complacent, just you wait, you dare to count on Gwen Fox, your good days are over!”
“Counting?”
Yolanda Taylor mumbled for a moment and suddenly laughed, “Miss Davis doesn’t have to be so concerned about me, I, Yolanda Taylor, have never had any good days since I was born. It’s getting late, Miss Davis better hurry back to rest, or you can still catch Young Master Fox if you go after him now.”
“I don’t need you to remind me, you’d better worry more about yourself, after all, THE Anderson family is not any good, and I won’t bother you to rest anymore.”
After saying that, Xenia Davis turned around and left the ward.
After Xenia Davis left the ward, the expression on her face instantly went cold, she raised her leg and kicked the elevator door, thinking of the provocation inside Yolanda Taylor’s words just now, the anger inside her heart grew bigger and bigger.
When the elevator door opened, Xenia Davis suddenly thought of something and took out her cell phone to make a call to Gwen Fox.
