Bella’s POV
As I opened my eyes, all I saw was darkness. Nothing but darkness. I was not even able to see myself. “HELP. SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!!” I screamed in the hopes of someone hearing and coming to help me. But I saw and heard no one. I started to get scared.
“Please help me.” I started to sob. I try to grab onto something, but nothing was there. I drop to my knees. There was no one to help me. Is this what hell feels like? Why am I even hell? If this is not hell, then where am I?
I start to sob again. This is bad. I have to get out of here. Just then, in the corner of my eyes I saw something. As I took a closer look, it was a small dot of light. I began to have hope. I followed the light. As I got closer, the dot became bigger. Soon the ray of light engulfed me. I closed my eyes due to the brightness. I felt as if I was being pulled into something.
When I opened my eyes, the scene was beautiful. It was a forest. It was filled with beautiful flowers and leaves. There was even a small pond. I did not understand anything. First I was at complete darkness. Now I was in this place.
“How have you been, my cupcake?”. A voice too familiar asked me. I froze at my place. No matter how many years it has been, I can never forget that voice. I slowly turned around. I gasped when I saw the person who was standing in front of me.
The person I have been longing to see. The person whom I loved with all my heart. My mum.
She was standing there in the flesh. Tears start to spring out of my eyes. I ran to her and hugged her tight, fearing that if I let go, she might vanish into the thin air. I kept crying. But this time, they were happy tears.
“Shhhh, it’s ok. Don’t cry my cupcake.” I chuckled at the nickname she gave my when I was young. I slowly pulled away to take a better look at her. she looks exactly like how she was when I last saw her.
Her face was so bright. She had the million dollar smile that dad fell in love with. Her warm touch. It was her.
Which means I am in heaven. But where is dad? ” Mum am I in heaven? Where is dad then? ” I asked her confusion written all over my face.
She smiles sadly at me. “Cupcake you are not in heaven.” She said. I got more confused.
As she saw this “I am here to help you get you back to earth. Where you belong. With the person who loves you.” She stated
“What? I don’t wanna leave you mummy. I want to stay with you mummy. Please don’t send me back mummy.” I stomped like, I did when I was young.
She smiled at this as if remembering those times. “It’s not your time yet. There is someone waiting for you. You have to go back to him. He loves you a lot. Just like how daddy and me loved you.” She said. I stared at her with my mouth wide open.
“What do you mean? I don’t even know that guy. All I know is that his name is Xavier and he kidnapped me. He is a monster mummy. He killed one of his kind right in front of me..” I said softly.
“Cupcake you have no idea of how much he loves you. He loves you so much that he would go back to hell and come for you. You have to understand that.”
I have no idea what to tell. Seeing this she just shook her head at me. “Look into the pond,” She said. At first I was confused but I did as she said. That is when I saw him.
Xavier’s POV
It has been three days. Three days since I saw her brown Hazel eyes. Since I saw anyone else but her pale face. Three days since I talked to anyone. Three days since I ate. I even chased my parents away when they came.
I am unable to do anything. Damien has yet to unblock me. All I have done is sit beside this beauty here, stare at her beautiful face hoping she would open her eyes, and hold on to her hand to keep me from going insane.
“Love please wake up. I need you. I love you. So f*cking much that without you I can’t even breathe. I will do anything you ask me to. I won’t come in front of you if you don’t want me too. If you want me to stay away, then I will stay away. I just need you to open your twinkling eyes. please, Bella. My love, I am pleading with you.”
I paused to wipe the lone tear that dropped from my eyes.
“You know, when I turned 16, I searched the entire country for my mate. But I could not find you. Guess I had such bad luck. I started to look for my mate everywhere. But I did not find you. Years passed by and still I could not locate you.”
“Then one fine day, I caught your intoxicating smell that I am so attracted to. I followed it. And guess who I found. You. Standing there. Your back faced me. I knew you were the one. Without even seeing your face, I fell deeply in love with you. I was dying to see your face. I so badly wanted you turn around so that I could see that amazing face.” I smiled as I replayed the memory.
“And when you turned around, gosh I felt like I was in heaven. You were so gorgeous. Your hazel eyes, they were so captivating. I did not want to look away. Just get lost in your damn eyes. Your lips. Damn they were really inviting. Trust me when I say it took a lot for me to control myself.” I let out a chuckle.
“please wake up my dear, you are my everything. Please. I am begging you”
“I love you” as I said that my head fell in her stomach and I closed my eyes.
