“Sir, I gathered enough information, and I’m afraid… Crawford is up to no good again,”Trey informed Emiliano as he went through some files which needed his boss’s attention. Emiliano creased his brows as he read word after word,, and he was not happy. It seemed his new enemy still wanted to challenge him after he dealt with him. He already took ride fast casino from Crawford, and he was still trying to stir trouble.
“Keep an eye on him and make sure you tell me everything… if he doesn’t stop what he’s planning then… I’ll handle him my way”he hated violence the most, but if Crawford didn’t learn a few lessons from the last time. e then it was time. e he switched to something vicious. He had his family to protect, sia and Diego were his responsibility, and hence he couldn’t afford to bring danger to their doorstep.
“Yes sir and one more thing…”trey said hesitantly and Emiliano shoved the files away and looked up at his assistant who seemed nervous for some reason.
“And what could that be?” Emiliano asked with a raised brow making trey even more nervous.
“Well it’s about Mr. Martinez and miss Rhea”he managed to say but Emiliano didn’t understand why issues about Logan had to do with him.
“And why does his matters concern me?”he has put Logan back in his place by making sure he was left with nothing, and well, Logan was stripped of his cell title by his father, and hence he was now left with nothing.
“S… sir miss Rhea shot him, and now she’s living with him”Trey remarked nervously not sure how his boss would take the news however he was surprised by Emiliano’s reaction, Emiliano literally leaned his back against the chair and smirked.
“He got what he deserved… it’s just a shame the bullet missed his heart”just like that he voiced out his opinion and trey felt a cold chill down his spine as he nodded and bowed in respect. After that Trey left Emiliano’s office, the man got back to work he still needed to get his company together when he left for a few days his father took charge, but everyone knew Vince was done managing a company, and therefore it was his responsibility to make work happen.
After a few hours of going through reports and signing files which needed his signature urgently, Emiliano straightened up and stretched his arms to keep the tension off his shoulders, but it wasn’t working,
“I need a desperate massage”he mumbled to himself and got up from his chair and walked to the large window and stared out, and it was slightly dark. The dark skies reminded him of a certain someone, which brought a smile to his face. He knew thinking about Sia made him feel things,, but he also was aware how Sia had taken root in his mind and heart, she was basically ruling his whole life now. Thinking about sia Emiliano walked back to his desk and sat down on the chair and took out his phone and called her. Unfortunately, when he tried calling her, she wasn’t picking up. Emiliano frowned as he tried again but this time the call was disconnected which meant she did it on purpose.
“Sia, you are playing with fire”he remarked through gritted teeth as anger flashed in his eyes. Since morning, he had not set his eyes on sia who heard her voice, he missed her greatly and wanted to see her but here she was ignoring his calls. Emiliano picked up his phone to call her again but just then his office door flew open and Sia walked in all happy and his anger vanished.
“Hello Emiliano… you look upset… did someone take your bone?”she said with a smirk and walked to him and surprisingly went ahead and sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. Emiliano didn’t react as he tilted his head from her.
“So you are upset… come on I came all the way here just to see you”she said and shifted comfortably on his laps causing a reaction from him, but the man didn’t bother.
“Get off me”Emiliano said but sia smirked and trailed her finger from his face slowly and down to his chest and prepared to unbutton his shirt, but the man caught her hand before she could do something terrible.
“What? you seemed not to be affected by me Mr. hubby… tell me… don’t you find me… attractive”she leaned close to his ear and whispered in a soft seductive voice that had his throbbing as he tried to keep his breathing stable. The woman was playing with fire.
“You seem to be in a good mood… to stir trouble…”he played along with her game and reached for her back and pulled her close “do you want some… love?”he asked with a mischievous smirk however sia wasn’t bothered as she giggled and slipped her hand in his shirt and Emiliano went ahead and started getting rid of her shirt, by this time Sia was sitting with her legs to his side and the man’s strong arms were supporting her back while she wrapped hers around his neck.
“I missed you… missed you very much”she murmured and planted a few kisses on his chest, Emiliano was lost drunk in lust as he ripped her white shirt apart and dropped it down leaving her only in her bra, sia shivered as she felt his cold hands on his skin and moved to him getting his warmth she was missing, Emiliano could feel how restless she was, her heart beat was quickening as he sorted her mouth and kissed her passionately to calm her down but sia seemed out of control as she fought to get rid of his shirt, and she did. By now Emiliano was giving her what she wanted, but Sia wanted more from him.
“H… hey, hey”he broke the kiss and held the sides of her face and rubbed her slowly with his thumbs. Sia was breathing heavily her eyes showed just what she wanted.
“You’ve been like this since morning… tell me what’s wrong huh”he had noticed the strange behavior since morning, he knew sia wasn’t so touch feely, but recently, she had turned into that kind.
“Is it a crime to want you”she asked with a frown, and he shook his head.
“It’s not, but I know you… what’s bothering you? I’ll solve whatever is wrong.”
“T… that night… we promised to see each other again but… I looked for you and Perez told me you left”sia managed to ask in a hoarse voice and Emiliano looked at her with a surprised expression which disappeared and was replaced with a serious expression.
“He told me you left a long time ago before the party ended”he replied, not what sia was expecting, but after she challenged him to stay sober he did do just that and only took fruit juice. Time passed by, and he went searching for her, he asked Perez about her, but the man told him she already left.
“What? but I stayed until the end of the party…”she was shocked because the same man told her Emiliano had left but how come he was there, and she was there, and he lied to both.
“That’s not possible…”he made a thinking face.
“H… how did you end up like… like that?”she asked nervously and waited to hear what he had to say.
