“Sia you’ve been working a lot and taking care of Diego and Emiliano you work all day and barely get time for Sia… so we want you to go somewhere quiet just the two of you”Carmen went on and added more seeing how quiet sia and Emiliano were.
“But mom I’m still stabilizing my work… and Diego is so little to…”she tried to gather excuses to say to get out of the predicament they were in, she wanted to get away from Emiliano not to be close to him and a honeymoon was exactly not what she wanted.
“You can let Mario take over, I heard he’s your partner and Diego is safe with us dear”Carmen said and again sia went quiet having no words to say which meant it was up to Emiliano to save them both.
“Mom maybe next year, I’ll be traveling to Montreal soon for a significant business matter”Emiliano said because he noticed that Sia didn’t want the honeymoon, and hence he had to do something to stop his mom and granny from going through with their ridiculous plans.
“Great, we planned not to take you far from home so… you will take sia with you and have your honeymoon there… right mother?” Carmen remarked with a sly smile as he looked at the old lady and the old lady nodded in agreement, leaving Emiliano with no excuses. He knew very well how cunning his mom and granny were and if they made up their mind about something it was impossible to change it, and hence they were stuck in a pickle jar and had no choice than to agree.
“Yes Emil… Montreal is nice and has wonderful places… I’m sure sia would love it there”Mario added with a smile and Carmen gave him a pat on the back agreeing to his words a hundred percent and again Sia was helpless.
“Okay then”sia replied softly and saw how the old lady’s smile doubled like that of a child and her eyes brightened up. Emiliano didn’t say anything or react as he secretly stole a glance at Sia, but she was cold as ever, maybe the short honeymoon won’t be that bad that way he could get some time to win over his wife’s trust and love once more.
“I’ve already sent Angie to pack your bags you leave tonight… now Sia come with me”Carmen said and grabbed some by the arm and dragged her out of the room and sia followed.
“But how can I go when you are not feeling okay old lady? ” Emiliano asked suspiciously, his granny looked sick but not so sick like his mom had said she was. Which made him think that she was putting on a show of pretense.
“D… don’t worry bro… I’m here I’ll take care of the beautiful lady”Mario rushed forward and said nervously and Emiliano looked at him with narrowed eyes but Mario averted his eyes quickly and let out a nervous chuckle.
“And don’t worry about the company… Vincent will take care of it and the jet taking you is all ready”Mario added more, and the old lady nodded.
“Please take care of Sia, you know how stubborn she is”the old lady said and Emiliano looked up at her wondering if she knew exactly what was going on in his marriage. His granny always had the best interest for him, and he was lucky to have her.
“I will granny… rest assured”Emiliano muttered and bent forward to plant a kiss on his granny’s forehead and the old lady kissed him on the cheek and smiled. Emiliano exchanged a few words with the old lady and left, so he could find out what his father discussed with the doctors about his granny’s health which was important, and immediately he left and closed the door Mario clapped twice and burst out in laughter.
“Great acting skills partner”he moved close and both high-fived with happiness as the old lady sat up and removed the pillows she was tortured with, she had to pretend to be sick and bribe the doctors to play along.
“Tell me something, why did I have to do this in the first place”she asked with a frown and Mario looked back at the door to make sure no one was coming then leaned forward and whispered.
“Because those two need some time alone to build their relationship, and you are best to help”Mario said and yes, he had to drag Carmen and granny in his plans because Angelo had told him about sia requesting for divorce papers which meant something bad had happened that led sia to take such a drastic step a week after she had confessed her love for Emiliano. Sia and Emiliano were stubborn, hence only listened to the old lady’s blackmail which has now worked wonders,
“You are a good boy… I hope you find a beautiful woman soon”the lady reached her hand for his face and caressed his face and Mario smiled. The Alvaro’s where like his family and he wanted nothing but happiness in the family, especially Emiliano
“I don’t think any woman would be up to my standard”he said with a wink and the old lady smacked him on the head and both chuckled as they planned more schemes on what to do with Sia and Emiliano while at their honeymoon.
Emiliano had taken Diego from Lulu, and he was walking in the garden with him, he was thinking if sia wanted divorce then what about Diego, his son needed to be raised with both parents no matter what, and hence he was certain after some time Sia would calm down and think things through.
“Father son time?”he heard someone say and when he turned around it was Vince who was standing behind him with his hands in his pockets.
“Yeah”Emiliano replied and Vince smiled and walked to them as he threw a wink at Diego, but the baby was busy sucking his fingers to know what a wink was
“You know when I first married your mom… she never liked me”Vince started and Emiliano arched a brown as he looked at his father from the sides because he never heard of such a thing.
“Your tow didn’t seem to be hostile towards each other as far as I recall”even if his parents fought or had misunderstanding, they never did it in front of him, and hence he always loved their relationship.
“Yeah… she’s a crazy woman and a loving woman at times… you know what… I was wrong about Sia”Vince remarked with a serious face as they walked slowly further in heading towards the pool area and Emiliano adjusted Diego in a comfortable position.
“Oh”it was the only thing he said and Vince chuckled.
“But I guess she’s the right woman for you, she’s perfect for you and I don’t think there’s any woman who can match up to her standards”he went on and said, he never liked sia in the past because he thought she was only after his family’s money, but she was exactly what Emiliano needed. Emiliano was so careless in the past that he did things that would look the family reputation and didn’t like the idea of him taking over the company but ever since sia showed up he had seen the changes in his son.
“Okay”it was rare to hear Vincent praising someone it felt awkward.
“And for that don’t let her out of your sight son”he said and immediately left from just like that and Emiliano went silent as he thought deep.

“I’ll show that fool, he dared to hurt Sia”Rhea said to herself in anger as she drove the car at high speed. She found out from Mario about Sia knowing the truth they were trying so hard to conceal which would bring trouble and when everyone wondered who must have let the cat out of the bag, she knew it was none other than logan, and hence she was going to give him a piece of her mind.

As Rhea drove her car like a gangster, Logan was coming, driving peacefully as he glanced around and the road was free from cars. He was heading to his parents mansion for something and didn’t want any distractions and traffic jams were worse. As he drove carefully, he noticed a car was coming at a high speed in the same lane as his which was wrong hence he tried to dodge it but it followed his direction.
“What the heck”he muttered as he slowed down hoping the crazy driver would stop but it was coming at a high speed that he knew an accident would occur hence he stopped the car just as the car stopped nearly hitting him and when he looked up he got angry and stormed out of the car. It looked like whoever the driver wanted to die. As he walked to the other car, the door opened and a lady stepped out.
“You!”logan recognized Rhea at a glance unfortunately he was greeted by a gun as the lady pointed it at him with an angry facial expression.
“How dare you!”Rhea said with anger as she walked to him pointing a gun at him and Logan frowned as his expression darkened.
