Sia was on her way to her parent’s mansion after Cristal called her which was weird, but she knew how her mom was, hence she dropped everything and got ready to go there. She wanted to go with Emiliano but dropped the idea because after what Rhea had made her think, she was feeling a lot awkward to face him.
“Please drive fast”Sia said to the driver who had come to pick her up and the man nodded and increased speed and Sia looked at her phone, and it vibrated indicating a new message. With curiosity, she unlocked her phone and the message was from Emiliano. Sia smiled when she read the message and started typing to reply to him, but didn’t know what to say to him. With a heavy heart, she thought deep but still didn’t know what to say, and hence she just switched off her phone.
Soon the car came to a stop and the car door opened for her and Sia stepped out and like always the servants had lined up waiting for her and with a sigh, she elegantly walked to the entrance, and they greeted her with bows, and she only nodded and made her way inside.
“Welcome sis”Tara was the first one she saw in the living room as sia scanned her surroundings, but everything was fine so why did Cristal sound so dramatic over the phone.
“Hey sis looking beautiful as ever”sia hugged Tara and both sisters giggled just as another person joined them coming from the study room direction and Sia moved away from Tara and smiled.
“Hey Logan, you are here?” Sia said as Logan got close dressed in casual black jeans with white shirt and with canvas.
“Hello beautiful, long time”Logan said with a smile and half hugged sia who just smiled faintly and moved away from him awkwardly, of course that didn’t unnoticed because Logan saw just how quickly she moved away from him and Emiliano was responsible for it all.
“Umm Tara where is mom?” Sia asked as she looked around and Cristal walked in coming from the kitchen with a huge smile on her face.
“Welcome baby, you are just in time for dinner… well, I invited you here for a family dinner… you too Logan kindly stay with us”Cristal remarked with a smile that surprised sia because her mom looked extra happy and was treating her differently, it wasn’t the Cristal way or the Navarro way to have dinner together as a family it never happened in the past so what changed.
“I… well, Mrs Navarro I was well…”Logan wanted to refuse, but Seth walked in coming from the study room.
“Nonsense you are staying with us for dinner… you are practically family”Seth said with a smile and Logan secretly smirked as he glanced at Sia and knew he would have some quality time with her. Sia didn’t think much,, and the family walked to the living room to wait for the chef to finish preparing the food under Tara and cristal’s supervision. Seth left the living room and went to answer a call, leaving sia and Logan sitting with an awkward silence hovering in the air.
“So… where is the little one?”Logan broke the silence and Sia who had just switched in her phone only to find a bunch of messages from Emiliano and all of them were sweet threats that were like music to her ears. Sia didn’t even hear Logan because she was busy smiling while scrolling on her phone, and Logan clenched his fist tightly. Here he was trying to talk to her and there she was smiling and Emiliano was to blame for that.
“I guess we are done”Tara and Cristal walked back in only then did sia put down her phone and looked up at them.
“Dinner is ready, I’ll go call dad”Tara said with a smile and left.
“Logan shall we”Cristal said to Logan, and he got up with some hesitation while sia prepared to walk to the dining room, but her mom stopped her and spoke.
“Sia dear, I think you should go and open the door for someone.”
“Why? who?”she asked with a frown and Cristal moved close to her and pinched her cheeks lovingly.
“Just go”saying that Cristal left and went to the dining room and a confused Sia made her way to the main door not sure what her mom was planning while Logan stopped there and waited with narrowed eyes and immediately Sia opened the door, her eyes widened seeing who it was.
“Hello there”Emiliano said with a smirk as he and Diego in his arms stood there holding few shopping bags and Sia stared at him from head to toe and the man frowned.
“What? Are you planning to keep us here,”he spoke and Sia shook her head and took the bags from him, obviously gifts for her family? This was the second time the Casanova was having dinner with her family and Diego was here.
“Come in”she whispered, but the man did the unexpected as he grabbed her by the arm while the other held on to Diego who was sleeping and the man brought her in a hug surprising her even more.
“Where is your phone?”he asked and planted a kiss on her exposed neck but Sia didn’t answer since she was busy scolding her heart for being such a traitor
“Welcome Emiliano, don’t just stand there come in ”this time it was Seth who spoke, and the the two moved away from each and Sia walked away leaving there alone, of course Logan has seen everything Emiliano did and hated him even more. He saw how happy Sia was with him and knew she had some sort of soft spot for him. All that cute moment with Sia was supposed to be with him, not Emiliano. He was the one to hold her in his arms and have a cute little baby with her, but Emiliano was living his long lifetime dream.
