Sia was finally done for the day and like in the morning, Logan was already waiting for her and sia had no way of refusing him when he asked her to go out for dinner. To be honest, she preferred not to do anything that would jeopardize her relationship with Emiliano, for the first time she felt like mending the relationship with him and when he asked her to be his girlfriend the previous night she had no idea what to say to him but part of her wanted so badly say yes.
“Shall we, you seem lost”Logan said as he came to Sia who was standing just outside cross stones and sia jerked back to her senses and looked up at him with a faint smile.
“I’m okay”she whispered as they made their way to Logan’s gray car just parked by the entrance, part of sia felt uneasy? She had a long day and had barely any time to call Emiliano gm forget that she didn’t even touch her phone.
“I think we should get some ribs like we did in Mexico”Logan suggested with a smile as he opened the car door for sia but just as sia was about to reply his phone vibrated and Logan took it out from his pocket and glanced at the screen and sia saw his crease his brows.
“One second”he said to sia and walked a bit from hr and answered the call.
“Yes”he said and waited for whoever it was to speak and once they did Logan gasped.
“What! no no I’m on my way”saying that with desperation he cut the call and walked back to Sia looking all frustrated.
“Sia, I’m sorry we won’t be able to go for dinner, something came up.”
“It’s okay but is it serious?”sia asked looking at him and Logan did everything to calm his nerves.
“Yes I’m so sorry I ruined this, but I promise we will get to have dinner some other time”he said and sia nodded now in the mood to ask him anything and after a lot of time logans regretting going he left and sia stood there and glanced to the parking lot where her car was and sighed. She started making her way there but stopped when a black SUV parked just right before her and Sia cursed several times because she knew just who it was and like some movie he or stepped out and sia only saw his white sneakers and the rest of the man stepped out wearing all black with leather jacket.
“Wrong timing?” Emiliano asked as he stood before Sia and Sia not sure why he came to her building arched her brows.
“No, but what brought the Casanova here”she remarked sarcastically and Emiliano smirked, he was certain the woman didn’t see his message.
“What do you mean huh, I took time from my busy schedule to come and act as your driver now come with me”he spoke as he led her to his car, Sia didn’t even argue with him because she was exhausted and just wanted to go home and rest.
The door slammed and Emiliano fastened his seatbelts and started driving the car as silence fell between them. Sia focused her eyes looking out the window admiring the beautiful city of Oakville at night and couldn’t help but sink deep in her seat as her eyes felt heavy however the beautiful lights from the buildings, the late night restaurants, some café shops and various entertainment people usually got at night and a small smile appeared on her face. She greatly missed walking around the city at night and when she came to her senses and looked at the road ahead she was surprised because Emiliano wasn’t driving to where they were supposed to go.
“Where are we going?”she broke the silence and asked him, Emiliano glanced at her just as he took a left and Sia widened her eyes suspiciously because now they were at some sort of movie theater. She had been to this part of the city and knew people usually went there to watch movies probably couples so why did Emiliano bring her to such a place.
“Well, Diego isn’t at home, so I thought you would be bored after working so much… so how about we stop and watch a movie or something”he said nonchalantly as he opened the door and stepped out coming to sia’s side to open for her. Sia was still confused as to why he bothered about watching a movie however when he opened for her, she stepped out and took his hand.
“Really?”she asked him as her eyes scanned her surroundings and could smell that movie popcorn and saw various people getting tickets and as soon as they walked inside, Emiliano was greeted by a tall man with whitish hair.
“Thank you for coming here Mr. Alvaro, it truly and honor”the man said with pure happiness and sia knew he was happy all because the famous Emiliano had come to the movie thingy.
“Please not the formalities, treat me like others… my wife and I want to enjoy our time here.”
“Yes yes, everything is set including the movie you requested for and the pop corns and the drinks awaits you at your seats”the man said and left them to the theater room. Sia held Emiliano’s hand as they entered the dark place with a large screen and saw as many people were seated waiting for the movie to start.
“Careful”Emiliano whispered as he made her sit, and he did too just beside her. Sia looked nervous because it had been a while since he went to watch a movie, and now she was seated there waiting for the movie to start, she glanced at Emiliano and the man was smiling as he took the small bucket of pop corns and gave it to her and Sia took it with shaky hands. Now the entire place was packed with mainly couples sitting in pairs others so close and felt a strange shiver that made her recall the reason why she never ever went to the movies ever since she was in high school and now Emiliano suddenly brought her there.
“I hope you are not scared of horror movies because it’s the one I chose”he leaned close to her and whispered and sia hearing him looked at the large screen and yes, the movie seemed scary.
“N… no”she managed to say because by now she still was perplexed with the situation. Was it a date?
