“Good morning boss, I’m feeling fine this Saturday morning”Angelo said dramatically as he entered Emiliano’s office only to find him arranging things on his desk and once he heard Angelo’s voice he sighed and spoke.
“I hope for you to be that happy means you have some good news for me”he said and walked to make some coffee and Angelo chuckled and made his way to the cellar to pour himself some strong drink.
“Nah, I had a splendid night… hooked up some rich chick at the club… played around with her the entire night and I must say it was… worth my time”he said with a smile as if what he did was the most glorious thing he ever did as he gulped down the liquid in the glass and Emiliano arched a brow at him and took his cup of coffee. He woke up with a headache this morning and since it was Saturday, there wasn’t any need for him to come to the office but if he stayed home, then he would have been overthinking about certain things he shouldn’t.
“And you are happy? I gave you work, and you went to sleep around”Emiliano was so annoyed because he strictly warned Angelo not to mix business with pleasure, he gave him a task to do as his employee, but his friend took him for granted.
“Chill man… when did you become a saint huh hahaha… wait are you staying loyal to your wife”he said and whispered the last sentence with a mischievous smile as he scooped close to Emiliano however the man didn’t like the jokes in the least, and hence Emiliano just creased his brows and leaned back. Angelo sat in his original position and smirked inwardly, it looked like his words hit right on the nail’s head because Emiliano didn’t defend himself,
“What’s the status?” Emiliano ignored Angelo and spoke about business instead.
“Well nothing new… I did a thorough search and asked a few employees and well… nothing… the fire just started,”Angelo replied and crossed his legs. Emiliano didn’t say more as he got to work in Angelo decided to leave since he had some business to attend to with Seth Navarro, apparently the father to the woman he loved and since the wedding he had not set his eyes on him and after the court drama a year ago he didn’t like the man but what could he do, fate had its way of making people meet no matter what, and hence he was going to do this the professional way?
As Emiliano was engulfed in his work, his office door burst open and even if he didn’t look up to see who was he could fire the rage from where he was and made a low curse.
“Oh damn! here we go again”he muttered and ran his hand in his hair and looked up only to see his wife and Diego in her arms standing there in clothes he didn’t approve of. Yes, she was allowed to do as she wanted but here she was wearing shorts and white designer blouse with a cap on her head. She looked cute,, but she was too exposed for his liking. Sia took huge angry strides towards Emiliano and stopped in front of him burning up in rage.
“My lady”he started with an innocent smile but Sia was beyond angry as she walked to him and dumped Diego in his arms surprising him as he held his son carefully.
“How could you… you went against our agreement Emiliano Alvaro”she said in anger and Emiliano smirked and adjusted Diego in a comfortable position and planted a kiss on his forehead and looked up at Sia.
“I don’t see why whatever you mean concerns me”he said nonchalantly and played with Diego’s cheeks and Sia nearly strangled him but when she recalled what she said to him the previous night, shame rained on her, but she shook the distracting thoughts away and stared daggers at him.
“Have you forgotten you have to take him to the park or do I have to remind you”she was clear when she outlined those rules for him to follow and so far, she had been following all the rules he gave her, but the man wasn’t doing that.
“Umm… I have work now and in a few minutes I’ll be having a special meeting with five of our company’s important executive, so… I can’t”he explained to her but Sia smirked and lowered to whisper close to his ear.
“Baby, then your son would love to be the 6th member to your little gathering… have fun”she finished her sarcastic words as Emiliano’s brain registered, Sia elegantly fixed her clothes and cat walked to the door and out she went and Emiliano nearly fell off his chair if not for having Diego in his laps because he recalled the last time he was left with Diego the boy troubled him nonstop and now Sia brought him to the office on purpose.
“Sir… it’s time for the meeting, everyone is in the conference room”Trey just walked straight in since the door was already open and found his boss frozen and wanted to laugh because he knew why his boss was like that since he saw his boss’s wife entering the elevator with a smile.
“Can you stay with him?” Emiliano asked trey, but his assistant stepped back and raised his hands in the air.
“No… no sir, I… don’t know anything about babies I’m afraid”trey refused recalling just how Angelo suffered in the hands of the little one, and now it seemed history had repeated itself.
“Call anyone”Emiliano made a low yell and trey shook his head.
“I’m afraid there is no one, your mom and madam’s mom has left and took both Angie and Lulu to the club for the election so… I believe it’s the reason why madam brought the little one here”trey always kept all the information about everyone, and he knew what went on in their daily lives. Emiliano cursed because his mom was running for whatever women did at the club, and now she included Cristal in the mess, and now he was certain Sia was going there but why on earth didn’t she take Diego with her or did she want to pose as a free unmarried woman who didn’t have a son.
“Trey… do men go to that club?” Emiliano asked with a frown and trey looked up with wide eyes and shook his head and nodded at the same time confusing Emiliano.
“No… no sir… well, the casino yes men are there”Trey replied in a hesitant tone and once again hated his job because his boss looked as if he wanted to murder all the men in the world and yes Emiliano was enraged beyond control as he thought about all those lustful men gawking at his half dressed wife and wondered what sort of thoughts would creep in their heads and thinking about that he wanted to get rid of all of them.
“Sir shall we.”
“Y… yes”Emiliano controlled his rage and looked at the little one in his arms and smiled helplessly.
“I guess it’s time you attended your first meeting champ… I hope you like it”he shifted his gaze to Diego and told him with a smile and walked out of the office and trey followed suit as they went to the conference room which was on the second floor while his office was on the 9th floor.
Once they entered the conference room all the five men dressed in business suits rose to their feet and looked towards Emiliano with a baby and wondered what was going on but Emiliano who knew what he was doing maintained his cold aura and proceeded to start the meeting and Trey smirked secretly because he felt the meeting would be interesting.
