Emiliano had never been confused before like he was because he knew he and to get ready, but he found himself in Sia’s room not sure why, however the room was empty, and the ghost kitten was nowhere to be seen.
“Showering”he mumbled as he ran his hand in his hair. He was feeling bad for his behavior towards her the previous night because it wasn’t her fault. She had work to do and when she called him for help he delayed all because of traffic jam.
With a sigh he prepared to all away but just then he heard muffled voices coming from the bathroom and with curiosity he took small steps to the door and knocked.
“Hey, are you trying to finish the entire water, come out”he yelled as he knocked at the door, but there was utter silence which proved she was ignoring him. Feeling frustrated, Emiliano turned to leave, but again he heard a sound followed by a low help, and he knew something was going on. Without delay, he turned the know to open the door, and instantly it opened, and he rushed in only to stop because what he saw made her go weak in the knees.
“Damn it damn!”he cursed as he rushed to the shower only to see sia floating in the water as she tried to keep her head high above the water.
“L… let me out”she gasped as she said, but the water was too much as it threatened to cover her entire head.
“How the fuck did you get in there”he said and tried to open the glass door, but it was jammed no matter what and feeling irritated Emiliano anxiously looked around to find something to break the glass, but the room had nothing useful, and hence he chose to use his shoulder to break the glass which was not easy, but he had to try because every minute he wasted out Sia in danger. Sweat trickled down his face as he connected his shoulder to the glass and after several attempts there was a small crack and this time he used his fist and punched a hole through and immediately water flowed out that by the time he had made a bigger hole the water had gone down and Sia fell on the cold floor as she gasped for air.
“It’s okay I’m here”he whispered as he rushed to pick her up and took her out if their and went to the bedroom and carefully laid her on the bed and covered her up.
“No no sweetie don’t close your eyes”he said as he gathered her in his arms but sia looked too frightened as she breathed heavily and water came out of her mouth getting Emiliano even more afraid as he tried to make her look at him, but she had her eyes closed.
“Someone call the doctor!”he yelled for help as he focused on the woman in his arms and by the look of things she didn’t swallow a lot of water because she would have passed out unfortunately she was just scared for some reason.
“So… sir what happened?” Lulu and trey rushed in and Emiliano yelled for them to call the doctor and both rushed out leaving Sia who had now opened her eyes lazily as she snuggles close to Emiliano.
“I’m… I’m fine”she managed to say but Emiliano shook her head for her to calm down.
“Don’t talk the doctor is coming”he whispered softly as he pulled her in his arms and he could feel how shaken she was judging by her trembling body, Sia’s mind was in chaos as she wrapped her arms around him not wanting to be left alone and Emiliano saw that. By the time the doctor arrived, he had already made her wear something warm as the doctor examined her while he sat beside her. Emiliano watched carefully and sia was no stable.
“She’s okay, the water didn’t get in her lungs, and therefore she was just had a panic attack”the doctor said and Emiliano nodded as he scanned Sia’s pale car and her chapped up lips.
“Thanks doctor, I’ll call you if I need anything”Emiliano said as he walked him out the bedroom and returned to Sia who was now half sitting leaning back only then did she notice that his right arm was stained with red liquid.
“Y… you are hurt”she tried to get up but fell back and Emiliano argued a brow sarcastically.
“Don’t you know how to use anything, tell me how on earth did that happen?”he asked coldly and Sia sunk more deep in her bed as her eyes lowered to her hands, yes she took didn’t know what happened even Emiliano was clueless because as far as he was concerned it was odd that the shower room wasn’t working.
“I was about to die… can’t you be a little nicer?”she said with a frown and Emiliano chuckled sarcastically as he glanced inside the bathroom which was now flooded with water and glass pieces scattered everywhere. He shook his head and walked to Sia just as he heard a commotion coming from outside, and before he knew his mom and Sia’s mom rushed inside as if someone had been chasing them followed by Mario.
“No no… our precious darling how… how are you feeling?” Carmen and Cristal rushed to Sia and started inspecting her body and Sia widened her eyes.
“Tell me, how did it happen? Carmen and I were on our way to the mall when lulu called us”Cristal said and caressed Sia’s cheeks and Carmen ran her hand over her shoulders.
“Tell us, did he get careless”Carmen said and shot Emiliano a death glare.
“No no I’m fine, just some bad plumbing”she replied nervous and Carmen frowned and looked around the room then back to Emiliano who was standing with Mario.
“Why is she in this room, Emil?” Carmen asked and Emiliano knew what was coming next as he glanced at Sia but she too bad her head lowered, not sure what to say to save themselves. Yes, they were married but never slept in the same room as a husband and wife.
“Mom, it’s just that I…”sia tried to say something, but Carmen was already standing as she looked at Emiliano suspiciously.
“No wonder this accident happened, I clearly ordered you to take good care of her, but I see you are still acting up huh”by now Carmen was furious that even Mario could sense that and knew it was hell for Emiliano, Cristal glanced at her daughter and lowered her head because she knew sia must have insisted they slept in different rooms.
“Mom, listen I…” Emiliano tried to say something however his mom cut him off.
“Not a word from you immediately I want all her belongings in your room which you two will share and if I find out you are sleeping in separate rooms get ready to face my wrath… both of you!”Carmen ordered in an angry tone and Emiliano stormed out of the room in frustration while Lulu who just walked him handed Cristal a bowl of hot soup for Sia.
“Drink dear, I’m sure you will feel better”Carmen said and Sia nodded as she took the bowl with shaky hands and glanced at Mario who was busy looking at Lulu and once Lulu left the room he followed her.
Lulu rushed downstairs and went to the kitchen, he hands were cold, and she was sweating nervous as she tried to get a jar of sugar unfortunately she couldn’t reach it due to been scared and just then a long arms helped her, and she gasped in surprise as she turned around only to see Mario with a serious facial expression as he set the jar on the counter.
“H… hello sir”Lulu greeted nervously, but Mario didn’t utter a word but fixed his cold piercing gaze on Lulu who looked as if she was about to pass out from fright.
“Jammed bathroom door? a broken shower? water not passing through?… sounds like something done deliberately… doesn’t it?”he whispered as he shot her a glance and Lulu swallowing air as she fiddled with her cold hands and lowered her head.
“I… I don’t know… anything”she replied nervous.
“I didn’t say anything… I was just wondering how something would happen just like that”Mario’s voice was stern that made Lulu scared out of her wits as she quickly tried to flee the kitchen but with speed Mario caught her by the arm and slammed her against the refrigerator and she winced in pain.
“You fucking did this… didn’t you?”he whispered closely and twisted her arm behind her such that lulu felt her eyes watering as pain washed over her.
“I… I’m sorry but.. but I… had a reason… p”she stammered the words out but Mario felt angry and tightened his grip on her.
“She nearly got killed damn it!”
