Not every morning was blissful and Sia’s morning was gloomy for she had not slept the entire night. Crawling out of bed she decided to take a shower first because she had a hectic day ahead, and therefore she needed to be a hundred percent alive to carry out her work, after what happened the previous night she chose to ignore Emiliano for the rest of her life. To her, Emiliano didn’t exist even in her dreams because he was the villain in her story.
“Madam, Diego is fine, don’t worry… Mario brought him yesterday and informed sir that you had urgent work”Lulu said as she was now spreading the bed and sia who was getting a towel from her closet stopped and looked at her.
“What time did your boss come home?” Sia asked because she thought Emiliano would stay out late, but he came home early which made her think he had no urgent work.
“It was earlier than you, he was furious when he got back really and when he arrived Mr Mario was around playing with Diego”Lulu explained and Sia only nodded and proceeded to the bathroom and once she entered she locked the door and stood there scanning the beautiful surroundings, and she had to say even the bathroom was spectacular.
“Shower or a soak in the tub?”she asked herself out loud and debated on whether she should go in the shower for a quick bath or just soak in the tub to soothe her aching body, however, thinking about all the pending work she had Sia shook her head and headed for the shower.
Taking off her clothes she kicked them away as she slid open the glass door to the shower and stepped her foot in the slightly wet tiled floor and closed it with a bang, something cracked when she slid the glass door but Sia didn’t take note for she focused on turning the hot water on and once the warm water hit her skin she shivered as she ran her fingers in her wet hair allowing the water to wash away all the dirt and reached her hand to her shoulders and rubbed to release some tension she had been feeling since last night.
It was true she enjoyed taking a shower a lot and in the past she would spend a good amount of time scrubbing to her heart content and right at that moment she felt like spending time working on herself, and hence she turned the knob to increase the pressure of water and a lot of water poured on her head such that she had to step away from the shower to adjust her eyes only then did she notice something was wrong.
“What?”she muttered as she looked down only to see that the water was draining, instead of going down the water was increasing inside the little box causing it to flood like some sort of pool. Sia guessed something was wrong with the outlet, and hence she reached her hand down to make sure everything was okay, but it wasn’t, it seemed the small hole was blocked for some reason. With desperately she decided to turn the water off but to her surprise the water came out even more such that by now it was reaching by her knees.
“M… maybe I should get out”she said as she tried to open the glass door, but it was jammed, no matter how much strength she used to open it was still locked, and the water was now reaching her thighs. Sia panicked because never in her life had she experienced such a thing.
“Lucia, help!” She called out to Lulu, hoping she could help her because she had no idea what was going on. Sia continued shouting for help, but it seemed no one was hearing her, feeling frustrated she banged on the glass door with her fist but so far, there was no one and by now the water was reaching by her shoulders and she knew if it continued then she would drown.

Meanwhile Lulu was done arranging the bed and had packed all the clothes back in the closet and had gone to little Diego’s room and was clueless of her boss’s situation and Emiliano was downstairs in the living talking to Trey who was standing as he told him about the latest news.
“Sir, aside from the factory problem we had the previous week everything is back to normal… the workers who were affected have been paid accordingly”Trey said and Emiliano who was sitting with his legs crossed scrolling through his phone nodded, he had an issue to deal with and that was a small glitch that transpired at the factory where five or more workers were badly hurt in the process however he was lucky they only sustained minor injuries and nothing else, and hence he had to pay all of them for their work and now once they recovered they vowed to continue their work just like before.
“That taken care of, tell me more”he simply said without looking at Trey and smiled as he prepared to say more.
“Well sir… other than company related matters we have an old problem in our midst”Trey spoke hesitantly and waited for his boss to react or ask something, but Emiliano kept silent as he waited for him to continue and again Trey smiled and proceeded.
“Cross stones had been put up for sale”he said and this time he got a reaction from his boss because Emiliano looked up at him as his face became serious hearing about the famous cross stones building been put up for sale when for years the owner had kept it all to himself no matter how many rich men and women out there who offered him a large sum of money to have it, he refused without effort.
“He’s selling it? doesn’t that sound odd to you…” Emiliano made a thinking face as he pondered over the issue “when did this happen and who exactly is the main buyer”he added because if the shrewd man who owned cross stones was now selling it then it was likely someone more important had offered him a fortune of a lifetime, he himself knew the owner of the building very well and by what he knew Emiliano was certain there was more between the line.
“Sir I’m sure the person who is buying won’t surprise you… Justin just got out of prison a few months ago and last week he had a media interview where he said he was finally selling the building to a special person who was worthy of it”Trey was up-to-date with everything that went around Oakville since he had so many informers scattered around, and he knew every little detail of all the wealthy important people what they did and what they were up to, and hence it was easy to find out what Justin Anderson was a construction millionaire who contributed famous buildings and sold them to warn cash, and he was known all over the country and far wide.
“He’s selling the family building as he called it?” Emiliano asked because several times even his father had tried to negotiate with him about buying the building in question, but the man refused no matter how much Vince put on the table.
“Yes sir and well… I heard madam… madam is the buyer”trey said hesitantly and immediately hearing his wife was the one buying cross stones Emiliano looked up in pure shock.
“Apparently madam wants cross stones to set up her office and judging by her work the location is perfect, but I’m not sure what she did to talk Justin into giving her the building”trey was employed to find out about certain information that no one knew of and Emiliano had to say he was doing just that because he himself didn’t know about his wife wanting cross stones not just that but about the fact that she was trying to set up an office for her work.
“Do me a favor find out what sort of conditions Justin set on the table for her… the man won’t just give up the building just like that”Emiliano’s expression darkened as he thought about what Justin was up to. First he needed to have a word with his wife and know why she chose that man knowing his reputation wasn’t what one would call pleasing. Justin was known for taking advantage of situations and gaining more from people especially women who had no choice than to give in to his vile conditions.
“Rest assured sir”Trey said with a bow and Emiliano glanced upstairs because it was almost 9am and Sia had not come down for breakfast or anything, he had to get ready for work therefore he made his way upstairs without knowledge that someone was drowning.
