Sia had come to a certain realization and that was if life gives you lemons to squirt someone in the eyes. She had told this to Mario the first time they met and he corrected her that if life gives you lemons make lemonade sweeter than honey which she frowned upon. Nothing felt better than waking up early in the morning, she already buried what had happened back with her father and mother and decided to start her day with a smile since she was going to have lunch with her very own sister.
“Little Diego you know what baby, I would have taken you with me to meet your aunt… but I can’t”she said with a smile as she dressed him in a cute blue matching tracksuit with white socks and kissed his forehead.
“Tara is very nice and love babies, so I bet you two would get along pretty well”she remarked as she smeared him with baby powder and little Diego made babies noises that had Sia giggling even more.
“Such a great mother you are”Sia heard Carmen’s voice and with fright she turned around hoping Carmen didn’t hear what she said or so help her she would be exposed.
“Good morning aunt”Sia greeted her and to her relief carmen still had a smile on her face she meant she didn’t hear a word she said to Diego.
“Good morning sia, I see you and Diego are ready for your day”Carmen said happily and sat on the bed and made sure Sia had dressed him properly and to her astonishment Sia had done a good job with him. Despite being young Sia took very good care of little Diego, she just wondered what the poor girl might have gone through giving birth to Diego without the baby’s father. She knew how hard raising a child was and it required both parents to make it successful but the poor girl had to endure all nine months of agony without Emiliano.
“Yes I’m taking him for an outing with one of my friends”Sia said and she walked to the table where she had put the baby bag and started packing everything Diego would need since she was taking him to Rhea and Mario.
“Friend? You got me wrong Sia, I meant getting ready for you and Emiliano to do some shopping for Diego and of course spend some time together”Carmen said while playing with Diego in her arms not aware that Sia hard frozen from shock as she stopped packing and turned to carmen who was too happy.
“With him?”when she said with him she meant Emiliano, why on earth would she want to hang out with Emiliano of all people, she has to meet her sister however Carmen and the old lady really loved making decisions for her without her consent.
“Yes, granny is telling Emiliano by now so I’m glad you are already dressed” Carmen simply said without a care and Sia’s knees went weak, what to do now to get out of the so-called outing. She just hoped Emiliano would deny the outing with all might but knowing Emiliano and the influence the old lady had on him, he was useless hence she needed to come up with some other excuse.

“What! granny are you kidding me… I have a business meeting in the afternoon I don’t have time”Emiliano exclaimed in anger, his granny was beginning to be a pain in the neck now, he had woken up with a bright smile on his face thinking his day ahead would be full of peace without the wild cat bugging him after seeing how calm she appeared the previous night but now he was totally doomed.
“My mind is already made up, since you are ready, go downstairs I’m sure your family is waiting for you”granny said in a serious tone that rendered Emiliano helpless as he opened his mouth to object but closed it when he thought things through. He needed to make a plan to get out of the situation but seeing the old lady’s face he knew no amount of excuses would make her change her mind, running his hand furiously in his hair Emiliano tried one more time.
“Granny my client and I will be having a lunch meeting and if I don’t go the deal will be canceled and we don’t want that”this was it, he knew his granny cared more about the company than some outing with some desperate woman hence she was bound to give him however his happiness was short lived because the old lady didn’t give a damn about the company or about the millions they would lose.
“No problem, the company can wait… now go”the old lady said with a smile and walked out of the room leaving Emiliano raging in fury as he threw everything in his room around.
“I hate you Sia”he said through gritted teeth and decided to wear something different, something that would not make people recognize him since he was well known.
Like they had the same idea both Emiliano and Sia walked downstairs wearing identical outfits shocking even them who looked at each other with disdain.
“What is this now? Why are you wearing black clothes and weird caps covering half your faces”Carmen said with wide eyes as she scanned the two people standing before her, Lulu who was giving little Diego to Sia after feeding him, muffled in laughter just as Vince passed by with a cup of coffee, looked at them for a while shook his head in defeat and went to the living room while the old lady had a huge smile on her face.
“Oh my you two look wonderful”the old lady said and planted a kiss on both Emiliano and Sia and little Diego too. Sia was furious that she had the urge to rush upstairs and change her outfit and Emiliano had the same thoughts as he did everything possible to calm his anger boiling inside of him.
“Mom, I still don’t think this is a good idea”Emiliano said one more time but his attempt was in vein because Carmen was giggling like a teenager in love for the first time, how childish.
“Nonsense, this is amazing, you three look gorgeous and now run along and have fun…”she said as she dragged Sia carefully outside followed by Lulu who was loving the awkward moment even more and thanked Sia for coming in their lives because now the house was lively all because of her.
“What to do?”Sia mumbled as she made her way to the car surrounded by various men in black together with Nickolas who seemed like the head of the bodyguard squad.
“Nick, please drive carefully”Carmen said to Nickolas.
“Rest assured ma’am”he replied with a bow and opened the car door to the back seat and hesitantly, emiliano got in and Sia handed him little Diego and she got in as well and Nickolas closed the door and walked to the driver’s seat, he could feel the tension between his passengers and feared a fight would break out if two tigers were put in one den. One was cold with an emotionless expression of a wounded lion ready to pounce on its prey and the other one had an innocent facial expression that said mess with me and you die.
“S.. sir where to?”Nicholas choked out the words nervously since he had no idea where they were going.
“To hell to get rid of her”Emiliano answered, how on earth was he going to ditch the little kitten?, he thought and Nickolas had the urge to laugh but composed himself and drove away from the mansion, secretly Sia was cooking up schemes to ditch Emiliano and go to her sister but how?
