Sia was sitting in her room hugging her knees close to her body as she thought about her life, since she was little everyone admired her all because she came from a wealthy family, at school she had a lot of admirers who pretended to be her friend when in reality they just wanted to take advantage of her. She never liked living a life of luxury like her dad wanted, to him everything was business even on her birthday he hosted huge parties just to show off to his business friends and crack more deals worth millions.
“Honey, may I come in?”her mom said as she pushed the door open and walked in to to the window were Sia was sitting and seeing her mom Sia shifted away from her.
“I’m not in the mood”Sia said and averted her eyes from her mom who sighed and sat beside her putting her hand on her shoulder.
“Sia honey, I know just what you are going through but..”she started but Sia stopped her from giving ridiculous excuses to defend her husband she wasn’t going to fall it, her mom always treated her dad like he god whatever he said went no matter how wrong he was.
“He’s selfish, he doesn’t care about anyone other than himself and his so called money”Sia said coldly and her mom shook her head for her not to say such things about her father.
“Sia your dad just wants the best for you, I know his ways are not right but trust me he loves the three of you very much”her mom sid softly hoping her daughter would understand but sia was sia, she never liked her dad no matter what he did to make her happy, she always thought he had a business motive behind everything he did for her and her siblings.
“Even what he did to Tara was right? Mom he ruined my sister’s life all because of his thirst for money… he doesn’t value my feelings or Tara’s feelings all because of his greed”she didn’t just dislike her father for no reason she had her own reason because he has done nothing but treat his own children like puppets, to him marriage was just for business purposes as long as he benefits with millions he didn’t care who got hurt. Her very own sister was forced to marry a man she did not know all because he was rich and proposed millions to his father and what did that do for Tara, separated her from the man she loved and now she was ruined and alone and the same was to befall her if her dad went ahead and made her marry some man all because he was now a rich CEO.
“That was a mishap sia, you can’t blame your father because we all know tara made a mistake when she decided to see another man despite being married”her mom said with some anger to her voice and Sia nodded sarcastically because they all blamed the girl if something went wrong in a marriage, back then no one even dared to ask her sister what she wanted or what happened, they all blamed her including her very own parents.
“That’s enough mom, you don’t know anything about your children because you and dad are busy hooked up in your social life to know what goes on in your own children’s lives, I hate it here”sia said coldly and furiously got up and walked out of her room leaving Cristal with clenched fists, she needed to make sure Sia got married or her stubbornness would bring shame to her family because she knew how careless Sia was.
Sia rushed downstairs not wanting to stay a second in a home were she was forced to do things she never wanted, it was enough that her parents fixed a marriage with a random man who knew nothing about what she liked as it was she had Diego and immediately her dad learned about him she feared the worst would happen.
“Hey baby sis”Tara stopped Sia who nearly bumped into her, Mario who was sitting awkwardly finally exhaled in relief seeing Sia but she looked angry disturbed and hurt.
“I’ll call you tomorrow so we could have lunch together”Sia faked a smile and hugged her sister who hugged her back, she always found comfort in Tara no matter what happened, her sister was like a friend to her in times of need she always showed up to help, sia just wished she had shared some of her burden with her in the past but she just couldn’t bring herself to tell Tara about what happened to her that night, it was horrifying.
“You are crying? Did mom say anything?”Tara let go of Sia and asked while drying her tears with her hands but Sia shook her head as more tears rained down her cheeks.
“I’m.. I’m… I missed you”saying that Sia hugged Tara again and Tara knowing her sister wasn’t one to cry anyhow hugged her tightly rubbing her back in comfort. Mario watched the two sisters and smiled faintly, he has never seen a strong bond between sister which existed between Sia and Tara, they cared about each other despite how life has treated them.
“Okay baby sis, tomorrow we’ll have lunch together… don’t forget to bring the disguises”Tara move back and chuckled while drying a few tears and Sia chuckled too.
“No one will know its the Navarro sisters”sia remarked and Tara laughed.
“Okay go on now, take care”she said to Sia who nodded and made her way to the door with some servants following suit.
“Please Mario take care of her”Tara turned to Mario who was standing there and he nodded with a smile and followed Sia as they went out. Tara sighed and made her way to her room to freshen up. It has been a long day, she needed to freshen up and rest.

Emiliano had finally managed to make the little one fall asleep after a long conversation which happened one sided considering the little guy was too small to talk other than cry and smile and giggle and of course drool all over him, he hated that part about babies that was why he never liked getting married which included having kids. Kids scared him the most that was why he vowed to remain single all his life but who knew his life would turn miserable in one day all because of one woman who he did not know.
“Is he sleeping now?”emiliano heard his granny ask just as he was about to open the refrigerator to get a bottle of water.
“Old lady, it’s really late… what are you doing?”Emiliano said as he went on to get his bottle and set it on the kitchen island and his granny smiled and poured herself a cup of coffee.
“Well I was waiting for you to finish your fatherly duty”his granny said with a smile and handed emiliano a cup of hot coffee which he declined and raised his bottle of water showing her that he would rather have water than coffee.
“For the last time, the kid isn’t mine… granny you know me better than anyone else… that woman is lost”he simply said and took a sip of water and saw his granny’s face turn dark.
“We took a DNA test and it shows he’s your child. What else do you want huh?”her voice carried some authority to it but emiliano wasn’t backing down yet, he still hated the fact that Sia managed to manipulate the DNA test in her favor and everyone believed it.
“I don’t believe in dna tests, you better help her find the father’s baby because I have no time to nurse someone else’s child”he said that took the bottle of water and walked out of the kitchen leaving his granny with a frowny face as she looked at Emiliano’s retreating form and sighed.
“I know she’s meant for you, I know the two of you are different in so many ways but I believe the same difference would make you fall in love with each other”she said with a smile but knowing her grandson it would take longer for him to open his eyes, in the meantime she was going to sit and watch what fate does.
Emiliano made his way to his bedroom wondering what he was going to do to rid himself of that woman and her baby, she seemed smart for his liking and her attitude was what he hated in a woman but he had to try… before he could finish his thought he bumped into someone and the bottle in his hands fell down and the water spilled since it was slightly open.
“Can’t you see where you are going? How fucking blind are you!”he growled in anger as he fixed his cold gaze on Sia who looked as if she had come from taking a shower because her hair was wet and she was in her night wear.
“I’m so sorry, I’m heading to the kitchen I’ll get another one for you”she said in an apologetic voice and lowered to pick up his bottle, emiliano scanned her for a while and saw something different.
“I’ll get another one rest assured”she said without looking at him and made her way to the kitchen leaving him dumbstruck.
“What just happened?”he wondered as he watched Sia walk down the stairs with ease, was that the same woman who never missed a chance to pick a fight with him just now he was rude to her which was a perfect chance to argue with him and tell him how a womanizer he was but… but she was nice too nice.
“I don’t like this”he muttered and made his way to his room, what was wrong with the little fox to just let him get away with murder when she would have countered back with unimaginable insults he did not know of. Emiliano crawled into the covers still trying to figure out what was wrong with Sia and he fell asleep.
