Days became weeks, weeks became months, and yet, Ariella never woke up.
Of course, Ariella was placed on life support, Isabella’s family were so wealthy. So every life support equipment needed was purchased and fixed in Jason’s room where she was placed.
Daisy never left Ariella’s side for a day, she stayed there hoping that a miracle would happen and Ariella would wake up sooner.
Jason wasn’t left out, ever since he regained consciousness, he blamed himself for being the cause of her predicament.
If only he had listened to her that day, all this wouldn’t have happened, he disappointed her.
Jason stayed by Ariella’s day and night, he kept pleading with her unconscious self to come back to life.
The door of Jason’s room opened and Isabella stepped in gracefully and sat down on the edge of the bed, not far from Ariella’s unconscious body.
Daisy was present too, she was seated on the expensive three – sitter couch that was in Jason’s room, while Jason was seated on a chair that was placed beside Ariella.
“Son? You still haven’t said anything about the people who tried to kill you, you’ve been so quiet concerning that matter.”
Jason looked at her briefly before saying,
“I can’t remember their faces anymore.”
Yes. He lied. He just had to lie, he was going to deal with Jacinta and her mother, but for now, Ariella’s health was more important.
“But the doctor said you are perfectly fine, you don’t have amnesia, so why can’t you remember?” Isabella insisted.
Instead of answering her further, Jason ignored her, and she left him alone.
The coronation was coming and she was worried. She kept the news of Jason being alive from the whole kingdom a secret.
Only those like the doctor and Jason’s pack members were aware of him still breathing.
Jason’s father was the Alpha king before he passed away, seeing how strong and responsible he was, they made him king over the four regions (East, West, north and south).
Ever since he passed away, Jason wasn’t coronated because he was yet to have a real mate. Now Jason found his mate in a fairy girl, and it was time for him to be coronated, but they already believed he was dead.
They were now conducting a series’of tests on the other three region Alphas to select who was qualified to be coronated next.
“Jason, the coronation Will be happening soon.”
“I know mum and Matias Will do everything to become the next king, but I will never let that happen. I heard he threw a big party to celebrate my death,” Jason spoke.
Jason moved close to Isabella, squatted down and held her hands before saying,
“Thanks for keeping my being alive a secret. I will take them all by surprise.”
“I promise not to disappoint you, mum.”
At that same moment, Ariella gasped loudly, and they ran to her side. Immediately, Jason mind linked the doctor.
Daisy was nervous.
The doctor came in no time, examined her and told them she was still in a coma.
****
Ariella opened her eyes in another world, it was so different from the land of no return.
This world was covered with thick mist. She couldn’t see anything else apart from the mist.
Ariella heard a soft chuckled and turned, but she found no one.
“You are so cute… hahaha ha,” A feminine voice spoke and chuckled again.
“Who are you? Show yourself!” Ariella yelled.
Ariella felt a presence behind her and turned, but nobody was there. If felt as though the person laughing was beside her, but wasn’t visible.
Ariella kept turning different directions nervously, but it was futile.
“Boom!” The voice exclaimed, and Ariella fell to the ground when she saw a beautiful fairy around her age sticking her head upside down from the mist.
“What took you so long? I’ve been waiting for you, oh I apologize for startling you,” The fairy spoke and sat upright in the mist.
“Waiting for me? Who are you? What am I doing here?” Ariella questioned.
“Woah! Woah!! Slow down, Which should I answer first?”
“All!” Ariella yelled, looking so fierce.
“I see you’ve got some temper, when did you develop a temper that I didn’t know?” The fairy said and flew to where Ariella stood.
“Stop playing games with me and tell me who you are!” Ariella demanded authoritatively.
“Fine, I am Lisa, your spirit guide,” The fairy introduced herself.
“I have a spirit guide?” Ariella thought to herself inwardly.
“Yes you do, Ariella, I can hear your thoughts.”
For some unknown reasons, Ariella trusted her.
“What do you mean when you said you’ve been waiting for me?”
“I am the one to teach you how to use and control your special ability to manipulate the four elements.”
“Those powers become dangerous when not controlled. We are starting immediately, we don’t have much time left. Beatrice is already polluting the kingdom by recruiting people to practice black magic with her. She has legalized black magic in your kingdom.”
“And we need to stop her fast.”
“What about Tracy? Is she dead?” Ariella asked when she thought of her sister.
“No, she’s not, but if you don’t make it back on time, she’ll freeze to death.”
Ariella’s journey to becoming a master of the four elements was a profound and transformative experience. In her order to harness the powers bestowed upon her, she heeded to the guidance of her wise fairy spirit.
To become a water bender, Ariella immersed herself in the flowing rivers and tranquil lakes, learning to move water with grace and precision. The fairy spirit taught her to feel the rhythm and energy of the water, shaping it into powerful waves and gentle currents at her command.
For fire bending, Ariella delved into the heart of the flames, embracing their warmth and intensity. The fairy spirit revealed to her the art of controlling fire’s wild energy, molding it into dancing flames that obeyed her will. With each flicker and spark, Ariella forged a deep connection with the element of fire.
As a wind bender, Ariella soared through the skies, feeling the gentle caress of the breeze and the fierce power of a raging storm. The fairy spirit guided her in harnessing the winds, teaching her to ride their currents and shape them into powerful gusts or gentle zephyrs with a mere thought.
And finally, as an earth bender, Ariella stood firm upon the solid ground, feeling the pulse of life within the earth beneath her feet. Through the fairy spirit’s teachings, she learned to draw upon the strength and stability of the earth, shaping stone and soil with ease and commanding the very ground beneath her to rise and fall at her command.
Although, Ariella was an earth fairy, she was happy she could now move the earth and not just make flowers grow.
In her quest to master each element, Ariella’s understanding deepened, and her connection to the natural world grew stronger. She honed her skills with dedication and embraced the harmony of the four elements, becoming a true master of water, fire, wind, and earth.
****The land of the living****
Susan and her family were having a happy family time in their living room.
Jacinta’s father was truly happy, the past few weeks and months have been the happiest time of his life.
His wife treated him like a king, she was no more disrespectful to him anymore. She changed, it was as though she achieved something she wanted for a long time.
A knock disrupted their conversation and without waiting for their responses, someone barged into their house.
“Matias? What are you doing here?” Jacinta asked.
“Is that the way you welcome your husband to be?” Matias smirked.
Susan and her husband looked at their daughter confused.
“I have no idea what he’s talking about, I swear,” Jacinta explained.
“Young man, how dare you barge into my house and make false claims? Leave my house before I lose my temper,” Jacinta’s father commanded authoritatively.
“Fine. I’ll leave,” Matias spoke and headed to the door. Once he got to the door, he paused and turned before saying,
“Be rest assured I’ll let the whole world know your wife and daughter conspired together and killed Jason.”
“What!” Jacinta’s father exclaimed in surprise. He looked at his wife and daughter, expecting them to deny, but they stood frozen.
That was when he knew what Matias said was all true.
“Bye!” Matias said, feigning departure.
“Wait. What do you want?” Susan negotiated.
Matias smirked before saying,
“I want to marry your daughter.”
