“Jason! How dare you bring her into my house? Are you crazy?” Isabella screamed on the top of her voice. Jason was driving her nut. Firstly, he left his wedding for that stranger, and now he even brought her into their house.
“That girl is not staying in my house and that’s on period.”
“Enough mother!” Jason yelled with his Alpha voice and Isabella was frightened. Jason couldn’t control his anger anymore.
Isabella burst into tears, it was unbelievable, Jason yelled at her because of that imposter. Jason has never yelled at her like that before, this was the first time, thus her surprise.
“I never stopped you when you brought in Jacinta, so please don’t stop me now that I brought in the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. She’s my mate, I can’t let her go, and please stop trying to make me feel guilty with those tears mum. I am an adult, for crying out loud, and I can make a quality decision for myself.”
Jason turned to leave, and his eyes fell on Ariella standing staring at him. How long has she been standing there? How much of their conversation did she hear?
They came back from the hospital a few minutes ago, and he asked them to stay outside so he could sort out things with his mum, but it seems like curiosity got the best of Ariel and she came in.
“Hey!” Jason called out softly, not knowing what to say to Ariella.
“Don’t worry, I heard everything,” Ariella spoke calmly and turned to Isabella before saying,
“I am sorry ma for barging into your lives unannounced and crumbled your plans. I also didn’t mean to do that. It just happened. If I could control time and make things right, I would have turned back time to correct things. I am sorry, you have to go through all of this because of me, I apologize for being the cause of your tears. I promise, as soon as we get a suitable place to stay, we’ll leave your house, but please let us stay for the main time,” Ariella knelt down begging Isabella.
Isabella was stunned. She wasn’t expecting what this lady just did. This lady was the most polite she has ever seen. Although Isabella wanted to throw her out but seeing how humble this lady was to the point of kneeling, she was contemplating whether to let her stay or not. She wasn’t mad at the lady, but she was mad at her son for abandoning his bride because of her.
“Mum, she already pleaded, or do you want her to become a prey to those rogues by not allowing her in? Her blood would be on you if that happens,” Jason chided in when he saw how reluctant his mother was.
“Fine, you guys can stay for the main time until you get a suitable place,” Isabella accepted. She would rather not be the cause of anybody demise.
After all, it wasn’t the lady’s fault, it was Jason fault who never liked Jacinta from the start and decided to use this innocent lady to escape his marriage to Jacinta.
“Thank you ma!” Ariella, who was still kneeling, spoke, and stood up.
While Jason walked out without even uttering a thank you to this mother. Jason went outside and invited Daisy in, who in return just smiled and nodded.
Earlier, when they arrived, Ariella was thrilled to see themselves standing in front of a beautiful castle. The castle was nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, where it stood as a symbol of age-old grandeur. From outside, the castle exuded an unmistakable air of antiquity, with weathered stoned walls, towering turrets and a timeless charm that transported one to a bygone era.
Ariella concluded that it was similar to their castle in fairy paradise. Their castle was ancient, too. As they passed by the road while coming, most building she saw were modern and civilized. So seeing a castle reminded her of her origin.
It took Ariella a lot of begging before she got into the car with Jason. She hadn’t seen anything like that, and she was being cautious. It was only when Daisy asked to give it a trial that she entered, and she found it absolutely amazing.
Civilization never reached Fairy paradise because they were mystical creatures that were hidden from the whole world, unlike the wolves that could mingle freely among humans.
Ariella realized that the castle was nothing like theirs in Fairy paradise when she entered into it and saw the inside part of it.
Ariella wasn’t prepared to be amazed by a surprising twist. The interior of the castle revealed a striking blend of tradition and modernity. While preserving the castle historical character, intricate embellishments and ornate details coexisted harmoniously with contemporary elements.
As Jason went out to get Daisy, Ariella couldn’t help but look around and none of the soldiers opposed her because they knew the Alpha brought her.
Within the walls, were spacious rooms adorned with elegant furnishings that seamlessly merged historical Craftsmanship with sleek, modern designs.
As Ariella explored further, she came across a magnificent courtyard transformed into a tranquil oasis, completed with a modern stunning glass ceiling that revealed the sky above. This fusion of old and new extended to the castle’s living spaces.
The castle was beyond beautiful. Ariella loved how it retained it ancient beauty outside while inviting you into a realm where historical charm effortlessly harmonized with contemporary sophistication.
Ariella was so captivated that she didn’t notice a little water that was spill on the floor that was tiled.
She mistakenly stepped into it and slipped, but immediately a strong arm held her waist and prevented her from falling.

Jason came back in with Daisy, but Ariella was nowhere to be found. He became tensed and at that same moment, Isabella was descending from the stairs.
“Where is my mate, mother?” Jason asked, looking at his mother suspiciously. He saw how reluctant his mother was to let Ariella in. Maybe immediately he left, his mother ordered the soldiers to do something crazy.
“What do you mean? I’m just coming from my room upstairs. I left her here in the living room.”
“Where is my mate?” Jason yelled at two soldiers who were standing close by.
“I saw her looking around a few minutes ago,” A soldier answered shakily.
Jason rushed into the courtyard but couldn’t find her. He was about to leave the courtyard when he saw her at the end side, staring at the glass ceiling.
Unintentionally, she stepped into a spilled water and was about to fall, Jason caught a wind of what was about happening and he activated his inhumane speed.
Jason held her firmly on her waist to prevent her from falling. Their eyes locked, and they became lost in each other gazes.
It was as though they were both staring into each other’s soul but,
“MMM-MMM,” Isabella cleared her throat and they both came to their senses. Jason immediately released Ariella, who in return, not knowing what to do, smiled awkwardly.
Isabella saw love and tenderness in Jason’s eyes when he looked at Ariel a few minutes ago. Was she really his mate? There seemed to be a deep connection between the two of them.
The gaze in his eyes told a story of deep affection, it was the same way her husband used to look at her while he was still alive.
Was Jason telling her the truth?
Was she Jason’s second chanced mate?
