Beatrice sat down on her throne, looking hopeless. She has been unhappy ever since she couldn’t find the bracelet. She needed the bracelet. Beatrice required the power all to herself.
“Bring me Tracy!” Beatrice roared, and some soldiers ran to get Tracy.
Tracy wrapped herself in one corner of the prison like someone who was going to enter the wall. The soldiers entered and grabbed her roughly.
“Leave me alone!” Tracy shouted and then bit one of the soldiers on his hand.
“Ahhh!” The soldier screamed in pain and slapped her.
Tracy looked so unkempt as she was being dragged by the soldiers to Beatrice. She has been in the prison for weeks.
Severally she had refused food that was brought to her for the fear of being poisoned, but of recent the soldier who brought her meal always tasted it to assure her that it wasn’t poisoned.
“Look who we got here. Hahaha!” Beatrice laughed as she saw Tracy being brought to her by the soldiers. Tracy looked like a mess, Tracy would never have thought that her beautiful self would one day become a slave to Beatrice.
Beatrice sat on the throne and placed her two legs on one arm of the chair. That act made Tracy exasperated, Beatrice was disrespecting her father’s throne, and she couldn’t do anything about it. Tracy could only throw Beatrice a look of disdain, of which Beatrice noticed and gave her a smirk.
“Tracy, tell me where that bracelet is!” Beatrice roared at Tracy, she couldn’t pretend to be nice. She was now Tracy’s king and as a king her orders must be obeyed.
“I said, where is the bracelet? Do you want me to kill you?”
Tracy looked at her and said,
“You killed me the day you killed my family. I’m a dead person already. I’m not afraid of death anymore.”
“How dare you?” Beatrice stepped down from the throne, walked up to Tracy and gave her a hot slap. Tracy made some movement and two soldiers immediately held her, each holding one of her arms.
“Even with the crown placed on your head, you still look like a desperate pauper.”
Beatrice’s eyes turned red in anger. Her? Pauper? Was Tracy mad to say that to her?
“Get me the whip!”
A whip was brought to Beatrice, and she began to flog Tracy with it, Tracy couldn’t even avoid being hit because she was held by the soldiers.
“Stupid child, I am old enough to be your mother!” Beatrice breathed heavily in anger.
“You are not qualified to be a mother, that’s why the creator of the universe never gave you a chance to become one.”
Tracy wasn’t afraid of firing back at Beatrice, despite being hurt from being flogged by the whip. Beatrice wasn’t qualified to become a mother.
Beatrice was dumbfounded. Tracy was seriously asking for a death sentence, and it wasn’t going to be funny. But Tracy wasn’t far from the truth, she hated kids but back then she was really ready to birth Sebastien kids, she was ready to compromise her decision for Sebastien, yet he chose Mitchell, thinking about him now even in his death still makes her so angry.
Beatrice would have killed Tracy a long time ago, but the bracelet was important to her and Tracy seemed to know where it was.
“Agree to work for me, and I’ll set you free. Come on, Tracy, aren’t you tired of staying in the prison like a nobody? Don’t you want to enjoy life once again? I can make all those possible, just tell me where the bracelet is. I’ll pay you handsomely, too.”
Tracy looked at Beatrice in awe, Beatrice thought she was stupid, Beatrice was trying to use a calm voice to deceive her, but she wouldn’t be deceived.
Tracy didn’t want to enjoy life without her family in it, it was pointless and stupid. She also didn’t want to be paid handsomely by Beatrice, there was no joy in spending money given to her by the same person who murdered her family without hesitation…
Beatrice was infuriated by Tracy’s silence, she roughly dragged her and kicked her on her stomach with one of her silhouette heels and then went back to the throne.
Tracy screamed and coughed out blood,
“Are you now ready to talk?” Beatrice asked.
“Never! Even if you kill me, I’ll never tell you where it is. Do your worst!”
“Okay.”
“Release her!” Beatrice told the soldiers and they released her.
Beatrice reply sent cold shivers down Tracy’s spine. Tracy knew behind that okay was an evil intent. Beatrice acting calm scared her to the core.
Beatrice’s heels made sounds as she walked around, like she was thinking of what to do to Tracy. She couldn’t kill her just yet, she wanted to keep her alive, her blood might still be useful to her. Royal blood was so priceless.
“Till the day, I want you dead, you’ll live in perpetual agony. You’ll be in pain and suffer tremendously.”
Beatrice formed a dark-looking heart – shaped ice and held it up in a way that everyone present, including Tracy, saw it. Beatrice looked at the heart shaped ice admiringly, it was perfectly going to fit in Tracy’s heart.
Tracy started to shiver when she saw the heart-shaped ice, she knew it was meant for her. No. She wouldn’t allow that to be installed in her heart, never. Although she felt weak, she was still going to fight for her life. Tracy remembered that water and fire were enemies, she was a fire fairy and there was no way she wouldn’t dissolve that ice.
Beatrice walked majestically to where Tracy was, but before she could reach Tracy, Tracy was up and her two hands had fire on them.
Tracy threw the fire at Beatrice and Beatrice, who wasn’t even ready for a fight, skillfully dodged the fire. Tracy flew up and created more fire, the soldiers followed her, and she attacked most of them, giving them fire burns on their body, but they kept multiplying and still chased her.
They weren’t her target, her target was Beatrice, yet she (Beatrice) seemed so relaxed and composed. No matter how Beatrice acted or seemed, she was going to protect herself, she couldn’t let a dark magic substance enter her body, it was going to defile her pure magic and turn her into an evil villain.
Beatrice walked back to her throne and sat down, watching Tracy protect herself in vain. Tracy was nothing compared to her, just a word from her mouth was able to kill Tracy.
It was stupid of Tracy to think she could melt the ice in her hand. Beatrice decided to enjoy the drama that Tracy was displaying for some time before finally sending her to perpetual pains.
Beatrice’s eyes widened in admiration when Tracy inflicted pains on most of the soldiers and defeated them. Tracy would have been so useful to her, she was somehow strong, but she vehemently refused to work for her and there was a penalty for that.
A soldier caught up with Tracy and pulled her hair from behind.
Tracy started to struggle with a soldier who pulled her hair from backward. It felt like her brain was about to be pulled out, she kept trying to break free, but the soldier’s grip was firm. Then she heard a voice speak,
“Okay, game over darling,” Beatrice spoke and magically projected the ice to Tracy.
As the ice approached, Tracy struggled even harder, but unfortunately the soldier’s wouldn’t let go and the ice entered Tracy’s heart.
The soldier let go of Tracy’s hair and removed the helmet, it turned out to be Agnes. Tracy tried to create fire from her hand, but she couldn’t, her power was gone.
Her heart ached, the ice made her cold. Tracy, unable to contain the pain, fell from up where she was and blacked out.
“I know who has the bracelet, Your Highness.”
