“Mum!” Jacinta said happily as she ran and embraced Isabella.
“Where is Jason, mum?” Jacinta asked, searching for Jason with her eyes.
“Your husband to be is sleeping upstairs,” Isabella replied, and Jacinta blushed hard. Hearing Jason’s mother call her son her husband to be, felt nice and beautiful.
Jason was taking a nap like he usually did.
“Alright mum, I need to go see him,” Jacinta said and Isabella ordered some maids to carry her belongings back to the room she had once left.
Jacinta walked the stairs happily as she headed to Jason’s room, she couldn’t wait to see her prince charming. It was all like a dream come true, so finally she ended up getting engaged to Jason, although Jason didn’t propose to her, that letter was strong evidence that he wanted to marry her.
What changed his mind?
Well, it all turned out in her favor and she was so grateful.
Jacinta got to Jason’s room and knocked gently, but there was no reply, she knocked again and yet no reply then she decided to push the door open, and luckily, it wasn’t locked.
Jason was soundly sleeping on the bed, he was so cute and alluring. Jason was the most beautiful creature one could ever see. His skin looked delicate and tender, his nose shaped perfectly, and he was sleeping shirtless, which made Jacinta drool the more.
Her husband to be was just the perfect person in the whole world, she could stand there all day and admire him without getting tired. Jacinta walked up to the window and opened it up.
Jacinta quietly walked to Jason’s bed and sat on the edge gently in order not to wake him up. She couldn’t resist the urge to touch him, so she began to caress him gently and lovingly while staring at him dreamily. Slowly, Jacinta bent down and began to plant kisses on him from his cheeks, to his face and down to his neck.
Jacinta couldn’t wait to make love to Jason and bear a son who would be just as beautiful as he was. Her hands touched his lips seductively, but she didn’t kiss him, Instead she laid close to him and cuddled him. Jacinta just couldn’t stop staring at Jason as she took a closer look at him, he was just too perfect, there was no slight or little skin blemish on him.
Jacinta still cuddling Jason, didn’t know when she slept off.
*****
The sun from the window kissed Jason’s perfect face as he opened his eyes. Who opened the window? Has his mum come to check on him as usual? Isabella always checked on him every morning, but it has been a while since she opened the window like this.
Jason, who was still a bit sleepy, was oblivious of the fact that a woman was lying close to him. Initially, Jacinta had cuddled him as she laid to him, but as she slept, her hands left his body and he also turned his back to her while sleeping, thus changing his initial position.
Jason lazily turned halfway, and his body hit something, no! Someone because he felt the warmth of the person’s body. He turned fully and saw that the person lying beside him was Jacinta. Jacinta again? Jason felt disgusted at seeing Jacinta sleeping on his precious bed; the thought of sharing a bed without someone he never loved was irritating.
Why can’t she let him have peace of mind?
Was she sent to torment him?
Without thinking much, Jason pushed Jacinta off his bed, and she fell, hitting her body hard on the floor.
Jacinta, who was already exploring dream land, felt a stinging pain in her body, she saw herself on the floor and felt very embarrassed.
How could she fall down from the bed? It was really an embarrassing moment for her. Jacinta looked up, and her eyes met with that of Jason, who was still sitted on the bed, and she even felt more embarrassed.
Jacinta thought she was the one who fell off the bed, she never knew it was Jason who pushed her down.
Jacinta’s heart began to beat fast when Jason got up from the bed, she thought he was coming to help her up, she felt so shy, but Jason just walked past her and went into the bathroom like she wasn’t there.
“Oh, seems like he needs to use the restroom,” Jacinta comforted herself, still waiting for Jason to finish from the restroom.
Jason got into the bathroom feeling so annoyed. Why would that girl lay on his bed without permission? He wasn’t even married to her yet, and she was acting all clingy to him. He hated it.
Furthermore, he saw how red her face was from embarrassment when their eyes met earlier. She was blushing so hard.
Well, him ignoring her was to tell her he would rather not talk to her or anything, so he was sure she got the message and must have left.
Jason washed his face and applied his lotion; after which he walked out of the bathroom but was stunned to see Jacinta up from the floor and now sitting on his bed.
“Get off my bed!” Jason yelled and startled Jacinta. Jacinta, who never expected such an outburst, was shocked. She immediately stood up from his bed.
“Now, get out of my room this minute!” Jacinta faced changed into that of sadness, she thought Jason was beginning to like her and just wanted to spend more time with him, so together they’ll build the feeling.
She thought they were gone past this stage.
She really thought he wrote that letter to her because he was beginning to have even an iota of feelings for her.
“But why?” Jacinta asked. She wanted to know what she did to offend Jason. His reply would make her know if he really wrote that letter, she needed to be certain. Jacinta knew she wasn’t everything Jason wanted, but she really loved him with all of her being and wanted to be with him.
Jason laughed evilly, but Jacinta remained unmoved, staring at him.
“Oh, you really want to know why?”
“I never liked you and would never. Yet, you keep trying to force yourself into my life. I can never be attracted to you, no matter how much you try. Oh, the letter, right? My mother made me write it, she was going to commit suicide if I didn’t agree to getting married to you. Did you think I was beginning to like you? Never! I only did that to stop my mother. So stop dreaming if you think I’m in love with you.”
“Also, don’t you ever sit or get close to my bed with your stinking body. Seeing you on my bed got me irritated.”
Jacinta smiled bitterly, her heart was stabbed, so it was Isabella who pulled the string for her. Jason never started developing feelings for her. Jason even called her irritating.
All the strength and excitement Jacinta felt immediately faded. She didn’t even have the strength to talk back at Jason. Her heart was bleeding.
Jason, who anticipated Jacinta’s reply, was a bit surprised when she didn’t say anything but instead walked to the door, opened it and walked out.
Well, good riddance to bad rubbish. He cared less about how she felt. His plan was to frustrate her until she called off the wedding herself because he couldn’t see himself getting married to her, this was just a tip of an iceberg.
Jacinta walked to her room and dragged her belongings out. She just couldn’t stay, she was unable to endure anymore.
“Where are you going to?” Jacinta heard Isabella’s voice asking. When did she get there? And just as though the tears welling up in her has been waiting for that question, it began to pour.
“What did Jason do to you?” Isabella continued, but Jacinta kept crying without being able to utter a word.
