A headache hit Tracy the moment she opened her eyes. Tracy rubbed her eyes slowly as she sat up on the bed. It was then she realized the bed she was on wasn’t her bed. This wasn’t her room, so, where was she?
The last thing she remembered was being touched by someone. How long has she been sleeping?
***Previous event***
The rain the woman caused to fall fell heavily on Tracy, and it quenched her balls of fire. Fire and water were enemies, and Tracy’s ball of fire couldn’t stand the water.
Tracy made to stand up when suddenly someone touched her from behind, completely taking her attention from the strange woman.
She turned to look at the person who touched her. Tracy was unable to recognize the person. The person’s face was covered with a mask, the person was a lady and her eyes were familiar, so familiar!
Agnes calmly watched Tracy who seemed like she was trying hard to recall where she knew her from. Agnes had been behind all along, watching what was going on. Tracy was so stubborn and oblivious of who she was dealing with. Agnes initially left Tracy with her mistress, so she could quickly tidy up the cave. If Tracy knew how dangerous her mistress was. She wouldn’t have tried engaging in a combat with her.
Before Tracy could think further, Agnes blow her breath on Tracy’s face and Tracy blacked out.
Beatrice heaved a sigh of relief when Tracy passed out. Tracy was a handful and Beatrice was already losing her patience, if not for Agnes intervention.
“What a huge mess!” Agnes exclaimed when she looked around and saw the trees that were destroyed as a result of the fight between her mistress and Tracy.
Beatrice cast a spell and Tracy’s body floated in the air, following Agnes and Beatrice as they headed to the cave.
***At the cave***
Mitchell’s spirit restlessly roamed about the empty cave. One of her daughters was in Beatrice’s trap, and she needed to save her daughter, but she couldn’t do anything. Her voice couldn’t be heard, neither was her face seen.
Beatrice, Agnes, and floating Tracy came into the cave together while Mitchell watched them desperately. Her daughter was floating in the air, her daughter was unconscious. Mitchell flew to Tracy and tried waking her, but her hand just passed through Tracy’s body.
Tracy’s body carefully landed on a mattress in the cave after Beatrice removed the floating spell. For hours, Beatrice and Agnes waited for Tracy to wake up, but it was all to no avail. Tracy showed no sign of waking up.
“Are you sure you used the right spell?” Beatrice roared at Agnes, who in return nodded hastily in fright.
“Then why is she not waking up?” Beatrice paced around impatiently. It was way past the time her powers were most effective. Her plans to destroy the spell that prevented her from gaining access to Fairy Paradise were now useless because the time had passed and then presently, Tracy wasn’t waking up. Was she dead?
Unknowingly to them, since Tracy was laid on the bed, Mitchell has been trying everything possible to stop the spell breaking process. She tried countless spells and all of them proved abortive until finally, the spell of deep slumber worked. At least, for the next three to four days, Tracy will be deeply asleep until she figures out how to save her child.
Mitchell looked at Beatrice with fury and disdain. This wicked woman, who killed her, still wanted to destroy her family and she wouldn’t let that happen.
“Baaaaang!” Things started flying all over the places. Beatrice turned in astonishment. Her clothes, shoes, etc. were all scattered all over. The cave began to shake. Beatrice observed the situation on ground quietly while Agnes, who was already shaking in fear, hid behind her.
An angry and a restless spirit was there. What could an angry spirit be doing in her cave? For all she knew, she destroyed all the spirits of those whom she killed, so none could trouble her thereafter. Beatrice was very curious to know whose spirit it was. Beatrice decided to chant a communication spell that will open a portal where both her and the spirit would communicate freely and easily, so she could know who the spirit was and what he/she wanted.
However, as Beatrice began to chant the spell, her eyes caught a glimpse of her mirror moving. Instantly, her dark aura and anger rose. Her mirror was dear to her, and she could kill anyone just for that mirror. Her mirror was one of the most powerful relics ever known and anyone who dared touched it was dining with death.
Beatrice angrily pointed her hand to the mirror and a black smoke covered the mirror, trapping whosoever wanted to mess with it. A whitish shadow-like figure holding on to the mirror became visible in the midst of the dark smoke.
“Hahahahahahahaha!” Beatrice laughed creepily. “Look who is trapped to the mirror.”
Beatrice flew close to the spirit but not too close, keenly observing the spirit to see if she could make out who it was. Beatrice noticed the mouth of the spirit was moving like it was reciting a spell. Before Beatrice could blink an eye, the trapped figure moved and flew sharply to Tracy’s side.
Beatrice creased her brow, but didn’t follow the spirit. How was that possible? The spirit escaped! The mouth of the spirit kept moving, and suddenly an image flashed through Beatrice’s mind. Mitchell! Yes. That was Mitchell’s spirit trying to protect her daughter.
Mitchell, who was chanting the deep slumber spell again, so Tracy, would sleep longer than three to four days, suddenly felt a very hot iron wrapping her spirit. The pains she felt were excruciating, Mitchell turned around in pain to look at what held her and realized Beatrice had trapped her spirit by chaining her with a magical chain.
Tears welled up Mitchell’s eyes when she saw her spirit gradually fading as the pains intensified. She groaned in anguish and hoped that help will come Tracy’s way. Mitchell smiled bitterly, and then she completely faded.
Agnes, who had witnessed everything that just happened, stood dumbfounded. This was her first time of seeing a battle between two realms. Who was that spirit that was desperately trying to help Tracy? Although her mistress finally defeated the spirit, she couldn’t help but praise the spirit.
The spirit was extremely strong to have escaped after being trapped by her mistress. Tracy was indeed lucky that even a spirit tried fighting for her.
“Why are you still standing there? Clean up this mess now!” Beatrice roared, startling Agnes who was so deep in thoughts.
