You Dare Disobey Me?

Book:The Wingless Fairy (The Alpha's Luna) Published:2024-6-3

The maid stiffened when she heard Alpha’s Jason’s voice. She only said those words to stop Jacinta from threatening her. If she had known Jason was right behind her, she wouldn’t have said those words at that moment.
“Oh… It’s nothing, we were just…”
“I wasn’t talking to you!” The Alpha In Jason snapped at Jacinta, and she immediately became quiet.
The maid looked at Jacinta. Jacinta kept giving the maid eyes signal not to spill the truth. The maid was in a dilemma. She never really wanted to report Jacinta to the Alpha, no! She wanted to, but not just yet. Not in this way!
If Jacinta hadn’t come to confront her in the kitchen, Jason wouldn’t have come here. It was all Jacinta’s fault. Now she was in a more awkward situation than she thought she’ll be in.
Jason’s growl startled her. Jason hated being kept waiting, and this maid had been quiet for some minutes now, it was as though she was contemplating whether to tell him what she had in mind to say.
“What is it that you wanted to tell me? And you had better not lie to me,” Jason instructed.
“She…., hasn’t been around since morning, she…,” The maid trailed off.
“Keep speaking!” Jason roared.
“She bribed the head chef with money and the head chef shared the money among us, but I refused to accept it.”
“Jacinta you what?” Jason yelled angrily. The anger in his voice was so evident and loud that other people outside the kitchen but within the house heard it. Jason couldn’t believe it, here he was praising Jacinta for a job well done, not knowing she used money to buy her way.
And for his workers who weren’t loyal, he became disgusted by the mere sight of them.
Jacinta found herself pinned to the wall by Jason. Jacinta choked in pains as Jason’s hand was on her neck. His grip on her neck was so strong that even ten strong werewolf put together couldn’t remove it.
His eyes were now looking red, His wolf had taken off already, but he was still in his human form.
“You dare disobey me!” Jason roared and hissed angrily. Jacinta was afraid, she had never seen Jason angry, this was her first. Jason growled angrily and threw Jacinta to one side of the kitchen. Everest’s thirsts for blood has risen, and he just couldn’t satisfy Everest right now because of the guests he hosted. He would rather not disrupt their peace. Jason could feel Everest wagging it tail and pacing around angrily.
“And don’t even think of bullying her,” Jason pointed to the maid.
“And for your punishment, you’ll be sleeping in the guard’s room for three days, and you’ll eat the same food that’s served to them,” Jason ordered.
He looked at those kitchen maids who accepted the bribe and said,
“As for you all, you are relieved of your duties. I don’t want to see any of your stupid faces when I’m back,” After saying that, Jason walked away.
Jacinta was dumbfounded.
Her?
Guard room?
Was he kidding her?
Jacinta hit her waist on the wall after Jason flung her away. She was in severe pains. Her neck had already turned red and was beginning to from bruises from Jason’s grip. Jacinta couldn’t believe that Jason would treat her like a commoner. She was really disappointed in him.
Jacinta fumed in anger as she looked at the maid, who in turn had her head bowed in a respectable manner.
“All of you get out! Out now!” She yelled angrily. She wasn’t a commoner, and she will never be treated like one.
***At Fairy paradise kingdom***
Daisy stood staring at the moon from her window. It’s been two days since Ariel mentioned Beatrice to her and since then, she hasn’t been herself. Daisy couldn’t sleep, she was awake and on alert; ready to protect Ariel. She wondered if Tracy was fine wherever she was.
Daisy wasn’t sure Beatrice was alive because Beatrice was banished years ago from the kingdom, and it wasn’t a funny thing to live on the mountain side alone. There was no abundance of food there and it was really hard.
Although Beatrice was her sister, not just any sister but her twin sister, Daisy couldn’t help but pray what Ariel told her would turn out to be a lie because Ariella was never wrong on things like this.
Daisy loved her sister but hated evil. The other name her sister was called was “Queen of Chaos”
If indeed Tracy went to meet Beatrice, that meant Beatrice will gain entrance to the kingdom anytime soon since Tracy was a direct descendant of late Mitchell and her blood could be used to break the spell. Beatrice coming into the kingdom was going to be disastrous.
That also meant, Agnes was Beatrice’s ally. Little wonder, Agnes reeked of black magic since the day she saw her. Daisy prayed in her heart for everything to be a lie.
She wanted it to be that maybe Agnes and Tracy lost their way in the forest.

Sabastine blamed himself over and over again for being so stupid and careless. How could he not investigate who Agnes was before accepting her into his family? It was so unlike him, if felt as though he was under a spell not to interrogate her.
He believed Ariella when she said a woman named Beatrice was coming. Ariella’s premonitions always came true, and he’ll be a fool to deny that.
So Beatrice was alive. How did she survive on the mountain alone?
Ariella has been crying for two days now and that hurt him dearly. Tracy also was not yet back. Although, Tracy could be a handful sometimes, he really loved her. He loved his daughters equally. They both meant a lot to him.
“I told you it cannot be stopped!” Sabastine remembered the prophet’s word to him yesterday when he had gone to him to seek for a solution. That statement alone gave him a terrible headache. He could never believe he’ll ever be in a state where he couldn’t help himself, his daughters and his kingdom.
Sabastine was completely hopeless. He decided not to kill any more of his soldiers again. Not only that, but he already killed a lot of them, and yet, their deaths never brought Tracy back.
“I’m so sorry Mitchell, I failed,” Sabastine said out loudly, apologizing to his late wife as though she were there. If Tracy got hurt, Mitchell will never forgive him for breaking the vow to protect his kids he made to Mitchell before she died.
He wondered what was going on with Tracy at that moment. Was she dead? Was she hungry? What was she doing? Many thoughts flooded his mind.
The guards were all on alert, ready to strike any enemy who showed up. The palace has been a mourning ground for the past two days. The surviving guards all mourned silently in their hearts, they watched how their friends were being slaughtered.
The King sent guards to look for Tracy, and all those who came with a negative result were killed.

Kids lost their fathers.
Sisters lost their brothers.
Parents lost their children.
