“Take this portion. Give it to Isabella and tell her it’s a herbal portion from me. This portion will slowly destroy her body system, she will lose her ability to spot out hypnosis, and in a few months time she will become mentally destabilized. That way, no one will ever suspect you for her death.” Susan handed over a bottle of portion to Jacinta.
Jacinta had gone to see her mother that morning. It was a time-critical matter, and it just couldn’t wait for another day. She overheard Jason narrating what happened the other day to his mother. Isabella confirmed it was hypnosis and promised she was going to expose whoever was behind it. Yes! She was more than capable of fishing out those into hypnotism. Another special ability Isabella had was to look into the past and bring out concealed truths. So, It was not a thing of surprise that she really birthed Jason. Both mother and son were really blessed by the universe.
Jacinta was scared and became restless after she heard their conversation that morning. If Jason’s mother had promised to look into the matter, she definitely was going to do it. Jacinta was left with no choice than to visit her mother for help.
Susan was a she – devil. She wasted many lives to get to the high position she held today. She killed her mother-in-law just so she could marry her good for nothing – husband. Her husband’s mother never liked her from the start. The woman insulted and humiliated her many times, but she endured thinking that with time her mother-in-law will get to like her and when that didn’t happen, Susan took her out of the picture permanently.
Although Susan was born into a rich family, she only married her husband for the money and nothing else, and that was after she had killed the man whom she loved dearly for rejecting her. As a matter of fact, she hypnotized her husband into marrying her. She never, for once, loved him. Although Susan’s husband was good-looking, he had never been what she wanted and will never be.
Susan loved only one person all her life, and that was Jason’s father. Jason’s father and her were best friends since childhood. They were so close and always walked together that many people concluded they were destined to be. Susan knew they were indeed destined to be, but all those hopes were shattered when her first and only love met Isabella at her house. Yes! The two met at her house. She regretted ever inviting Isabella over to her house that day.
Isabella was undoubtedly beautiful and more attractive than Susan was, but she was from a poor family. Since Isabella came from a very low-profiled family, she was not known because the rich were never found associating with the poor. But surprisingly, Robert was drawn to Isabella the first day he set his eyes on her. Susan’s attempts to turn Robert’s attention all to her self proved abortive, and she killed him.
A few weeks before she killed him, she invited him over to have a meal with her in a very private place. When Robert met her, he was shocked at what he saw. Susan was unclad and tried to seduce him, but Robert, being a man of dignity, stood his ground and rejected her. Susan felt ashamed of herself after he rejected her. She couldn’t live with the fact that her very own Robert was married to her friend who was below their class. Susan never tried to hypnotize Robert because she wanted him to love her naturally. She never wanted a forced love.
However, no matter how she tried, Robert never succumbed. On a beautiful morning, she went over to his house to see his wife Isabella but met only Robert at home. She tried her seduction skills again and just like the previous time, she failed. In fact, Robert warned her to stay away from his life and his wife as well.
That warning Robert issued to her infuriated her, and that was part of what made her kill him. How could he forget all the things they’ve been through together since childhood? She rejected many potential suitors just so she could be with Robert. At a point, then, her father almost disowned her after she openly embarrassed her father’s bosom friend son at a party for just saying he liked her.
The day Susan killed Robert, she had begged him to meet with her in disguise of wanting to apologize. Robert went over to Susan’s parent house to meet her. He chose to go to her parent’s house because he thought it was safer. He never wanted her to seduce him like she always did when she met him alone at home.
Unknowingly to him, Susan’s parents were out of town, and he had just walked into his death trap. After taking the drink Susan offered him, he began to feel unease. He tried to stand up from the chair he sat on, but his body became too weak for him to even stand up. He couldn’t understand what was happening to his body. Not only that, but he tried turning to his wolf form, but he couldn’t. His body felt paralyzed. His bones felt were like they were on fire. He was burning internally.
Susan, who had earlier excused herself, walked in and stood watching him with an expressionless face. Robert, whose vision was beginning to get blur, had a glimpse of hope when he saw Susan enter.
“Pl…ea…se! He…lp me!” Robert struggled with words as he pleaded, but Susan remained standing where she was. It hurt her to see her Robert this weak and vulnerable, perhaps If he begged her, she’ll forgive him.
“I will only help you if you promise to leave Isabella and marry me,” Susan negotiated.
It now dawned on Robert that Susan had put something in his drink. No matter what was at stake, he’ll never leave his Isabella for another woman. Isabella completed him. She was his life and everything. She was sent from above to him, how could he leave her for Susan? Susan was his best friend for crying out loud, and she also had a good relationship with his wife. So why was she doing this? Why was she hellbent on destroying his home and happiness? How could he possibly hurt Isabella? Robert knew Susan liked him, but he thought she liked him just like a brother she never had and not a lover. He had always seen her as a sister.
Susan waited patiently in anticipation for what Robert’s answer would be. Of course, he wasn’t foolish to lose his life for a woman who was a nobody. Her Robert was wise and would never choose death over Isabella. Isabella was just a commoner and never deserved him.
“N…e…v…er! ” Robert answered. Even with the pains he felt, he was never going to hurt his precious wife.
Susan was stunned for a moment when she heard Robert’s response to her request. His reply sank deep into her brain, it broke her into pieces. So this idiot still chose Isabella over her at the verge of his death. Was she that bad? He was so loyal to his wife and well that loyalty will cost his life today.
Susan’s eyes turned red. She brought out the machete she had been hiding behind her all along and without any further hesitation, the machete went into Robert’s neck, his decapitated head fell on the floor and splashes of his blood covered Susan’s face.
