Liza was giving her a sinister smile and made her heart beat fast. There were two men beside her and they looked like wrestlers with creepy faces and style.
“Long time no see, Luna,” Liza said while smiling at her.
“Why are you here?” Luna asked.
“I am the one who sent you the message. You know what? He is so busy that he does not have enough time to check his phone at all to call you” Liza said, making her mad.
Luna clenched her fist because Liza did something horrible to her again.
Is she not tired of pestering me? Luna thought.
“Where is Maximus?” Luna asked while glaring at her. Liza did not like the way Luna looked at her, so she sneered, and her face became so serious.
“I will destroy you first before you find him,” Liza said. Then she sends a signal to two men beside her.
Luna got scared so she tried to run but it was too late. One man wearing a blue shirt caught her wrist and the other man made her sleep by slapping her cheeks so hard.
Liza smiled when she saw Luna lose her consciousness. She believes that Luna is really a stupid woman.
Why did she believe in the text of an unknown person? The truth is, she does not have Maximus with her. A person like Maximus is hard to kidnap especially he had bodyguards and he has skills in fighting.
“Stupid as always,” Liza said and smiled.
Now it is time for her to call Shawn and make him be her husband. Liza dial Shawn’s number. It rang several times until Shawn answered her call.
“I’m busy, do not call–” He was about to finish his conversation as soon as possible but Liza said something that made him stop.
“Turn off the call and I will kill Luna,” Liza said while grinding her teeth. She really hates how Shawn kept ignoring her.
“What do you mean?” Shawn started to get worried because of Liza. She once put Luna’s life in danger and gave her troubles in the past, and he knew that Liza is not joking.
“I am with Luna right now. I’m holding her life. Her husband does not care for her anymore, so I can freely do something towards her, like making her suffer and it includes killing her” she said and laughed like a crazy woman. Thinking about killing Luna made her happy.
“Don’t you dare touch her, Liza! I will kill you if you do!” Shawn warned her with a serious tone, but Liza only sent her a giggle before she said something.
“Then, marry me, Shawn”
“Are you crazy?! You know that I do not love you” Shawn shouted between the lines.
“But I do! I do love you and I will do everything even if it means killing someone else. I will do everything just to have you!” Liza shouted back. The overflowing pain in her heart made her tears fall down her cheeks.
“You are crazy Liza! I will never marry you!” Shawn answered back. Liza immediately wiped off her tears and stood firm.
“If I set Luna free, I will make sure that he will resent you for the rest of her life after I killed her baby. After all, it is your fault why she fought with her husband” Liza ended the call and looked at Luna who was lying on the ground, unconscious.
Shawn froze after hearing what Liza said. Luna is pregnant and she is in danger but he knew that Maximus is still not here in the country. Maximus did not know what was happening from his wife and Shawn felt that he needed to do something to save Luna. He feels guilty.
He needs to ask Mister Sun for help even though Maximus is not around. He is sure that Mister Sun will help him.
Shawn did not understand why Liza told him that he is the reason why Luna and Maximus fought. It is because he keeps on pestering Luna during her work. Did Maximus find out and confront Luna? He really does not have any idea what the exact reason is, but he needs to talk to Maximus right now. He needs to tell him about Luna because after all, he felt guilty for causing trouble ever since Luna’s schedule changed.
Shawn grabs his car’s key to go to Frost International.
When she got to the front building of Frost International, she looked at the top of the building where the Maximus office was located. One of the security guards greeted her and assisted her by taking care of her car. Everybody inside the building who sees her cannot help but turn their head to look at her. She is a total hot head-turner woman.
She went inside the elevator to Maximus’s office. She cannot stop tapping the elevator wall because she is worried and in a hurry. When she got out of the elevator, she immediately opened his office door and that is the time when she saw her brother and Shawn.
“Sarah?” A familiar voice echoed inside the room. Sarah saw his brother. She covered her mouth with her hand when she realized that her brother was safe, and he was in front of her.
“What are you doing here? Why–” He could not finish his word when Sarah slapped him hard.
It is unexpected. He could not believe that her sister would go to slap him. He slowly looked at his sister who is now crying in front of him while holding her bag. He can describe how Sarah kept looking at him like he did something terrible.
What is she doing here? And why did she slap me?
These are all the questions that flashed to his mind. He can describe how angry she was because of her eyes and facial expression.
“You damn bastard brother of mine…” Sarah said while glaring at his brother.
Maximus was shocked. He cannot believe that her little sister slapped him and cursed him. Is she looking for death? He suddenly got mad and became serious.
“Sarah listens to m–” As he started to scold his little sister, Sarah cut her.
“No! You listen to me brother or you will forever regret not listening to me!” She commanded. Both Maximus and Shawn felt how serious Sarah was.
