“Ma’am, go to this hospital, you’re father got hit by a car!” I froze for a second but when it came back to my senses, I quickly took my bag and ran to the hospital where my dad was taken.
“Thank you, Atty. Van.” Eloisa called the attorney she hired for the signing process a while ago.
I went outside the house and stayed in the garden after we got home. I hired a nanny for Austin yesterday who will take care of him. I’m afraid that Kent might hear me.
“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.” He said and I feel relieved to know it.
I looked back to check if Kent looks for me but I guess he’s with Austin right now. Of course, he was his father and I am now his mother.
“Okay, I already sent the money to your bank account. Don’t ever call me again, okay?” I warned him.
“No problem, ma’am. Bye.” Atty. Can, the con I hired bid goodbye from the other line.

Eloisa check who called her earlier. When she browses her phone in the call logs, her heart almost raises in fear to see Brian’s name. He’s one of the thugs she hired ten years ago. She planned to kidnap Lucy and her dad. She planned to kill them so that Kent will stay with her forever. No one knows what she did for the last ten years. Maybe, she was punished for not having a baby. Karma haunted her but she doesn’t believe in it. It was humans who made their destinies.
Her hands shivered when her phone vibrated with his call. She’s doubting herself whether to press or not the answer button. She’s fucking sick of his call. She had to answer this and warmed him not to call her again or else she will send someone to kill them all.
She answered it quickly to warn him but he sent her the bad news.
“What? Are you insane or crazy? He’s dead–” Eloisa stops when Brian interfere.
He is the leader so he was affected by the sudden change in their line of job. Their life became more darker and dangerous to the politician.
” No! That’s why I’ve been calling you yesterday. I saw him and I did what I have to do.” She can’t believe that Lucy’s dad is still alive.
Eloisa tightened her grip on her phone while listening to Brian. This can’t be happening. She bit her lower lip and sweats started to fall on my face. My hands twitched and I can hear the pounding of my heart through my ears.
“Where is he? What did you do?” She asked Brian about it.
“I speed up my car and bump it into him. He’s now in the hospital and he’s severely injured. Don’t worry, I’m sure he can’t survive with this one.” He replied on the other line.
A sigh of relief came out from Eloisa’s mouth.
“Make sure to clean up your mess or else, I’ll kill all of you!” Her voice echoed like thunder outside the mansion.
She had no idea that Kent was standing behind her. She turned around and jump in shock to see her husband behind her. She’s hoping that everything is still hidden.
“Honey, how long you’re in here?” She asked him with her stuttering words.
“You look like you saw a ghost? Is everything okay? I just came.” He mustered and it’s a relief that he didn’t hear her.
She took a deep breath and release a smile on her face.
“I’m fine. I just can’t believe that we have Austin with us! I can’t believe that she falls on our plan, honey.” Eloisa wrapped her arms around her husband’s muscular body.
“Me too, honey.” He said and hug her back.

Lucy was outside the gate. When she took Kent’s phone last time, she saw this address on the location history. She mastered the place and street and she’s lucky to find their mansion.
She heard everything. After leaving the hospital, she decided to check how her child was doing when she heard the couple’s conversation.
The shock came on her face. She cupped her lips with her hands to avoid making any sounds.
“Plan? Does it mean Kent was part of their plan?” She mumbled while her body turned numb and weak.
She just visits her father last night when the hospital called her. The nurse said that he got severely hit by a car. She asked if there’s a witness but there are no CCTV cameras on the said site. Her problem is bigger than her father’s injury. They fooled her. They tricked her. She thought Kent love her so much but it’s just an act. They planned it all so that they can have my child.
Tears coming out of her face. She hasn’t slept a wink last night and hasn’t eaten anything until breakfast. She’s relieved to know that her father was alive. She makes her hands into a ball and narrowed her eyes for them. She tightened her jaws trying not to weep aloud.
