She started to think that Luna was acting suspiciously. She remembered that Luna was a doctor in the hospital, but she cannot believe that Luna was already taking care of someone in the VIP ward. The head nurse or one of the best nurses of the hospital should be the one doing it.
Why Luna? Liza thought.
Because of her curiosity, she went to the information desk and asked the staff about the VIP ward.
“Good afternoon ma’am, may I help you?” The nurse asked.
“Tell me, who was the person in the VIP ward?” she asked.
The nurse immediately looked at the computer to check the information and found out that the information was not allowed to leak.
“I am sorry Madame, but we cannot tell the information about the patient. It is strictly prohibited unless you have the proof that you are one of the patient’s family”, the nurse explained.
She started to get impatient when the nurse refused to tell her the patient’s information. She has to know about Luna’s patient. She needs to do something. She smiled evilly when she thought of something.
“I am one of the investors in the hospital. My name is Liza Ferrer. I am looking for my friend. Someone informed me that a friend of mine was sent to the VIP wards. I need to know if it was my friend or should I do something to fire you?” She threatened the nurse at the information desk.
The nurse did not want to lose her job. She knew the name, Liza Ferrer. She was the girlfriend of Shawn Lucas, so she immediately looked at the VIP ward information and found out who was the patient.
The Nurse was about to tell Liza the information, but the nurse paused when she realized that the hospital might get suspicious because she opened the private information.
On the other hand, if the nurse did not tell the information to Liza, she will be fired.
“Who-was-the-patient?” She asked slowly and started tapping the information desk that made the nurse get scared.
“I-it is Ms. Sarah Frost!” the nurse said.
“Frost?” She already heard that surname before, but she cannot remember when and where.
“Anyway, thank you, and you are fire,” She said and rolled her eyes at the nurse. She was a bit disappointed when she explained too much then got only the patient’s name.
The nurse froze when she heard that she was fired. She just did what she was told because she was scared to lose her job and now, she got fired suddenly.
“But why? I just did what you asked me to do. Please do not fire me. I am begging you” The nurses pleaded in front of her. The nurse even kneeled in front of Liza and it got everyone’s attention.
Liza was very satisfied with what was happening. She is really a vicious woman. She smiled when she got what she wanted.
“You did not even do your job properly. If I were a stranger, the hospital might lose its dignity because of a stupid nurse like you” Liza was scheming the nurse by saying that she failed as a nurse.
Liza played her.
“Please do not fire me. I will do everything! Just do not fire me!” The nurse started to cry. The nurse had no choice but to beg Liza.
Liza smiled when she thought of something. She realized that the nurse might be a great use for her plans to get rid of Luna.
A few years from now, Shawn will come back. She and Shawn will get married. She cannot let Shawn and Luna cross their paths again. Since Shawn might remember Luna, however, she was sure that Shawn will never remember Luna since he refused to remember the woman she loved before.
“Never mind what I said before. Stand up and follow me” She said while raising her right brow.
“Thank you very much, Ma’am,” the nurse said while kneeling and holding the hands of Liza.
If she loses her job, her family will be starving. She still has young siblings who were still studying, and her parents need financial assistance for their maintenance.
Liza removes her hands away from the nurse’s.
“Do not thank me yet”, she smiled evilly, then walked outside first.
Liza and the nurse stopped at the parking lot of the hospital. Liza faced the nurse and smiled sweetly. The nurse avoids looking at Liza because she was afraid of her.
“You said that you will do everything right?” Liza asked.
“Y-yes Ma’am!” The nurse answered.
“Then, I want you to do me a favor” Liza went inside her car and grabbed the brown envelope containing a lot of money.
She asked the nurse to get inside her car. The nurse does what she said. She went inside her car and asked what favor she wanted.
“Just do everything I asked you to do. Be obedient. For every job you finished, you will receive cash. More and more cash… Besides, you do not want to lose your job, right?”, Liza then handed the money to the nurse.
“But…” the nurse was about to say something, but Liza prevented her.
“I know you really need a lot of money and I know… money is your problem” based on the Nurse’s action, Liza concluded that she needs money.
The nurse was hesitant at first, but she slowly accepted the money.
At the moment, the nurse wanted to disagree and change her decision, but she had no choice. She needs this job, so she accepts the money and the job that Liza was offering.
Liza smiled evilly.
“By the way, what is your name?” Liza asked.
“W-Sally, Ma’am” The nurse answered.
“Alright Sally, listen carefully. Your first job is to find out about the patient and the doctor and nurse assigned inside the VIP ward. Report everything to me. Understood?”
Sally thought that knowing about the VIP patient and the assigned doctor and nurse would satisfy Liza, however, it would be dangerous since one of Lucas hospital’s policies is not to reveal their patient’s information especially those who are inside the VIP wards.
“Yes… yes Ma’am”
“Good, you may now leave.”, Liza said while having her evil smile at the back of Sally.
