“You are my doctor. Of course, you should take care of me and aid my needs. If you are hungry then tell me. I let you have your break and let you eat your food … HERE” He pointed out the last word.
Maximus dialed his phone and asked Mister Sun brought the most delicious food that was served at lunchtime and decided to have a meal with him.
“I mean, I wanted to take a break… alone and who said that I wanted to eat with you?” Luna started to massage her head because of Maximus.
“Whatever. I want to go to the restroom. Help me” Maximus asked then he started to stand up.
Luna walked towards him and helped him to sit in his wheelchair but because Maximus is heavy. Luna was having a hard time helping Maximus and balancing herself since he has a leg injury,
Maximus holds her shoulder to prevent him from falling. Luna felt uncomfortable when she felt the warmth of their skin contact, so her focus went to Maximus’s hand holding her shoulder. She started to panic and pushed Maximus. Before Maximus stumbles and falls, he holds Luna tightly. Maximus pulled Luna and they both fell to the ground.
They both froze when they realized that Luna was on top of Maximus while Maximus was holding her above his chest. Their face and lips were one inch apart from touching.
Luna’s heart started to beat fast. She blushed and felt embarrassed again because of Maximus. Their faces were too close.
She can smell his cologne and feel his heartbeat while Maximus was looking at her with a red face. He can clearly describe how beautiful she was even without makeup.
His gaze went to her pink and soft lips. It does not have any makeup. It was so natural yet beautiful. He started to feel like kissing her again…, so without notice, he held her face and put his lips on her.
Maximus kissed Luna and Luna lost her third kiss.
What Maximus did make Luna feel something she never felt after a year. She was so surprised because Maximus stole her second kiss. The first kiss was stolen by him too when she was drunk. The most shocking part was that she cannot stop Maximus from kissing her. She does not have any strength to pull herself away from Maximus’s embrace.
The kiss lasted for a few seconds before they heard the knock on the door. The knock made Luna immediately stand up and fixed herself. She really felt embarrassed because of what happened. She turned around to avoid looking at Maximus who was also blushing because of what happened between them. They just met again after not seeing each other for so long yet they already did something that lovers do. Kissing.
The door of the VIP ward opened, and the figure of Mister Sun seen their situation. His boss was sitting on the cold floor of the room while Luna was facing Mister Sun.
Something must have happened. Mister Sun thought.
“Mister Frost your food is here” Mister Sun cleared his throat before calling the attention of his boss.
“H-help me to stand up. I-I want to go to the restroom” Maximus stuttered.
Mister Sun was amazed because his boss stuttered for the first time. He is even blushing and lowering his head. Something must have really happened. Now, he’s curious that he wanted to ask his boss, but before Maximus called his attention, he immediately put the food on the table and helped his boss to the restroom.
Mister Sun saw Luna’s face when he helped his boss to sit in the hospital bed. He suddenly remembered who she was. She is Luna Florence. The woman whom his Boss asked about her information before. She will never forget this woman because she is the reason why Maximus made a big deal of his house design.
Hmm. Was she the reason why Mister Frost did not choose the other doctors? He thought.
After Maximus used the restroom, he asked Mister Sun to give the food to Luna. Luna was seated on the long sofa waiting for Mister Sun. Maximus and Luna were not talking or even looking at each other since they still remembered what happened a while ago. Mister Sun can feel the awkwardness between the two.
“Mister Frost, are you alright?” He asked to lift the mood.
“Huh? Well, yes, yes. I’m fine. Nothing to worry about” Maximus said then keep himself quiet again.
“How about you Ms. Florence?”
“Hmm? Oh. Y-yes” Luna stuttered while looking on the floor.
“Has something happened?” He finally asked.
“Nothing!” Mister Sun jolted when both Luna and his Boss answered in chorus.
He smiled at the two of them and started to prepare the food that his boss asked for Luna. Both Luna and Maximus eat in silence while being watched by him. Their focus was on their food.
He smiled secretly. He thought that he needed to tell what happened to Maximus’s sister, Sarah, about his boss’s condition.
“By the way, I need to leave now,” Luna asked Maximus after she finished her food.
“Okay,” Maximus said without looking at each other.
She stood up and left the VIP ward. She sighed heavily when she got out of the room. She leaned at the door then slowly touched her lips and started to remember what had happened inside. She cannot believe it. Maximus really got her third kiss. She blushed and felt his heart beating fast. She started to accept that they really kissed each other.
When they kissed, she felt how soft his lips were. She wondered if all people’s lips were like Maximus. She cannot even help but to agree that Maximus was a good kisser. She was somehow happy and excited. Then she started to regret not pushing Maximus. If she did push Maximus, he would never get her third kiss.
Stupid Maximus. I did not know you are also a pervert. She thought, then started to walk away while still holding her lips.
Little did she know, someone saw her walked outside at the VIP ward.
What are you doing inside Luna? Liza whispered to herself when she saw Luna walking from the VIP wards.
