Adaline
I can’t believe it.
I kissed the Bad Boy of this school. Okay, it was a kiss on the cheek, but still…
I just can’t believe it.
I feel like I’m transforming into a girly-girl, and I don’t like it. I just can’t stand dresses, skirts and heels. Okay, I like to watch and admire them, but wearing them is another story.
Now I’m on my bed , trying to get rid of this thoughts. It seemed to be working because now all I could think of is how he didn’t die when he jumped. I tried to recall the events in my head and to ignore the kiss on the cheek. I almost face-palmed.
The gym is attached to the school and is almost the same size as the school, so when he jumped, he jumped on the gym, and then he climbed back on the school’s roof.
The door to my bedroom opened , making me shot up from the bed. I saw my sister looking at me with a curious look.
“Where were you this morning at school?” Jemima began to tap her foot on the floor and put her hands on her hips. Sometimes I like when she is this protective of me but sometimes I don’t. Because she is my seven minutes older sister , that doesn’t mean she needs to know where I am 24/7.
I sighed and kept calm and collected. But as she asked that I question all the events from today got into my mind.
Jemima saw me blushing and closed the door to my bedroom, locking it. She came to me and sat on the bed. She had a teasing yet happy smile on her face.
“The last time you had that look, was when your crush hugged you. So, what happened?” She was looking at me, curiosity lacing her voice.
“Curiosity kills the cat, sis,” I pointed out but she shrugged me off and waved a hand.
“I don’t care. What happened?”
Can I trust her?
I asked myself.
Of course that I can , she’s my sister.
“Where’s mom and dad?” I asked, trying to change the subject, but she caught on what I was trying to do.
“They left , so … you can tell me. Spill.”
I sighed. “I wasn’t in the mood today to be at school so I went on the school’s roof. You know? That secret entrance? And yeah, I knew that only the two of us knew about it, but it seems like not….” I trailed off, not knowing how to continue it. Jemima tilted her head to the side, furrowing her perfect eyebrows.
“Who?”
“Ayato,” She widened her eyes so much, that I was afraid they might pop out. I began to shook her when I saw that she was almost fainting and her widened eyes were twitching.
“Jem! Jem! Jemima!” I called her. She began to squeal making me jump in surprise.
“Aaah! No way!” Jem began to scream, bounce, squeal, giggle and hug me all at once.
“Jemima… You can-” I coughed , because of her bone-crushing hug. “-let go… now!” She let go, and gave me an apologetic smile.
“Sorry,” She took a deep inhale, and tried to keep her calm. “So, what happened after you saw him there?”
I scratched the back of my neck and looked down at my lap. “I kinda said that I would do to the human race a favour if I push him, because , you know, he was sitting on the edge of the roof and he kind of…” I coughed. “-jumped…” I whispered through coughs the last part. Sue me, I was trying to make it more dramatic.
“YOU WHAT?!” She screamed.
I laughed nervously and looked at the almost fainting Jemima. I raised up my hands to calm her. “Don’t worry, he didn’t die-” She let out a breath of relief. “-he scared me after that, and I almost fell from the building if it wasn’t for him catching me.”
Jemima narrowed her eyes at me and hissed. “You deserved it for saying that you want to push him!”
I raised my hands up in surrender. “Oh , so you love him more than you love me. And I said sorry. Anyway, he didn’t want to get me back on the roof and said he will if I would give him a kiss,” Jemima’s eyes widened again to the side of saucers.
“What did you do?”
“I said no , but , seeing as he didn’t want to let that chance slip, I accepted and kissed him after he put me down on the roof.”
“WHAT?! YOU HAD YOUR FIRST KISS?!”
I furrowed my eyebrows at her, confused. I widened my eyes when I realized that I didn’t finished my sentence from before. “No!” I shook my head quickly. “No! I just kissed him on the cheek.”
Jemima sighed in relief. I took this chance to ask her what was he doing in my room at the dinner.
She shrugged. “Mom asked him to come and get you. Why?”
I widened my eyes and pursed my lips.
“He kind of…” I began to cough. “-saw me naked!” I said that very quickly. I heard a thud and I looked on the floor to see Jemima asleep. She fainted…

“I don’t know what to do. If I need to ship you two or go to his house and cut his balls off for peeking on my lil’ sis.”
“I think the second option is the best,” I suggested, wiggling my eyebrows at her. She rolled her eyes.
Good luck, that after a few minutes from fainting, she woke up.
“No,” She said and I pouted. Damn it, so close… “I think it was your fault too.” She pointed out and I threw my hands in the air, annoyed and confused.
“Why?”
“Because you spend too much time in the bathroom,” She answered my question and I crossed my arms over my chest. “I think I’ll ship you two. I’ll let this one to be yours. Although, his bestfriend, Tyler Morris, caught my attention. I’ll see if I can make him my new boyfriend.”
I gaped at my sister. She can’t ship me with that idiot. “We are like two magnets. I’m the North and he’s also the North. Like them , we don’t attract each other. Although, we’re kind of opposites.”
Jemima gave me a look. “Yes! So remember, that opposites in relationships attract each other, just like the magnets in physics.”
My sister began to learn new things.
I sighed. “He’s a player , Jemima. If he was sweet, cute, funny and cuddly, I would love to date him.”
“But the destiny doesn’t want that,” She said, looking at the TV in my room. I looked down, playing with my fingers and when I raised my eyes, my words came firm and stubborn.
“But I want that.”
