3 days went by in a flash. They had completed creating fake life for “Alexia Rosy Hill” and fortified all the security measures around their respective houses and hotel while installing several secret surveillance cameras everywhere.
Albert had flown to Apex City and settled in William’s house without any contact with anyone including William.
Chandler was already in Apex City and was communicating with William via encrypted messages.
Rosaline has gotten a new hairdo with the bottom two inches of her hair dyed Blue.
Finally, it was time to lower the bait and wait for the fish to catch it.
William got neatly dressed and drove his BMW which his family got him when he turned 16. He drove straight to the LTR shopping complex.
After parking his car, he quickly rushed to entrance D where he had decided to meet Rosaline. It was to be their first official fake date.
William stooped on his tracks when he saw Rosaline in a one-piece pink-seam A-line skirt dress that reached just above her knees. She has paired it with medium-height heels with translucent straps. She had let down her hair and applied eye make-up on the same shade of blue to go with the highlights of her hair. She simply had a clutch and a phone with her.
William thought she looked extremely lovely at the moment and smiled at the blue blazer he had on.
“Lexi” William called as he approached her and smiled as Rosaline checked him out head to toe with appreciation.
They went straight to the 7th floor of the building, the entirety of which was the ridiculously extravagant “Tender Whispers” which was the go-to place for couples who loved to show off. Most of the seats were arranged where it could be seen from the floors below via the transparent glass.
They had picked this place because William absolutely hated the lack of privacy it provided, and Supriya most likely knew it.
Knowing that Supriya had someone follow them, Rosaline led William to the most conspicuous seat while William frowned behind but kept mum. Rosaline then took lots of pictures while William had to do several things to attract her attention and drive the conversation.
“This is ridiculous.” “I feel so weird doing this.”
“I know, me too.” “Forget about putting on a show. Let’s just enjoy ourselves, after all this is our first real date.”
Rosaline coughed. “Can you not say things like that?”
“Like what?”
“Never mind”
‘Back in the shell again, I see’ William frowned.
“Are you sure you were followed?”
“Yes! See the guy downstairs near the escalator leaning on the handrails. Wait and see how he reacts when we change seats.”
“Alright, I’ll spill some wine when you make me laugh.”
Just as a waiter was passing by, William said something which made Rosaline laugh in a very unladylike manner, spilling the wine on her glass all over.
They then changed the seats to another one by the other side. Rosaline watched as the man pointed out by William followed all their movements and went to another side from where he could watch them while looking like he was just idling by.
“Interesting!” “We should also keep track of the people following us and how she hired them. This is, after all, stalking.”
“On it. I have someone collecting evidence and covering all the legal bases.”
“You sure are resourceful.”
