The living room hosted at least twenty-something guests who were invited for the private get-together strictly for family and friends.
The living room had a theme color of green, white, and cream flower decorations. There was a green rug starting from the entrance of the room to the dining area.
The rod that holds the curtains has some decorative flowers on each end, the table that is in the middle of the room has a cream-colored portable vase of green and white flowers on top and a tray of wine too.
The little bar that the senior Lorenzo possess has some of the guest there taking wine and talking to one another as the guy who goes by the name Davis serves them whatever drink they request.
Audriana was wearing a cream off-the-shoulder floral gown with gold gladiator sandals, her hair was in a messy side bun with a flower crown on her head for beautification and she was holding a glass of fruit juice.
Sofia on the other hand was wearing a green checkered pinafore with a cream-colored turtleneck top and white flats. Her hair was let down and she instead had the white rose Max stuck on the side of her hair earlier that morning.
She and Audriana had no makeup on aside from the lipstick and powder they managed to apply.
She was drinking tea and would grimace whenever she took a sip.
They were seated on the couch, facing each other and talking.
“You have no choice” Audriana who notices her facial expression when she drinks her tea said.
“Well, you will get pregnant one day too, I will be there to laugh at you. Hard” Sofia rolled her eyes.
“Whatever now is my turn to mock you as I want so drink up”
Sofia narrowed her gaze at her and drank all of it then put it on the tray that was on the table beside them.
“You are one annoying human” Sofia commented taking Audriana’s purse and taking her lipstick to add some to her lips.
“And you are the bully. Look at you going through my purse without my permission and applying my lipstick without asking me to.” she rolled her eyes and muttered “Mean”
“Oh please, you knew what you were getting yourself into by making your best woman so live with it”
“You are such a bully”
“You wouldn’t like me anyway” she winked at her and flipped her hair in a sassy manner.
“Emily!” Audriana and Sofia squealed when they saw her come into the living room with Caleb who had his arms at the small of her back.
She was wearing a simple floral pink dress that reaches some inches below her knees, coupled with a pair of light brown gladiator sandals. She had her hair up in a messy bun and wore her beautiful smile when she and her fiancee approached her favorite ladies.
“How are you doing?” Audriana asked giving her a hug and was also careful of her bump that was almost unnoticeable with the gown she was wearing.
“I am doing fine, how are you girls doing?” she asked when she had exchanged hugs with Sofia too.
“We are good and kicking” Sofia rubbed her bump and wiggled her body a bit.
“Are you answering just for you and my nephew or am I included in it too?” Audriana asked sipping her coconut water.
“Your niece! Would want to add you” Sofia replied.
“I can’t say why you are being mean to me but I am glad my nephew! Will not be harsh to me like his mum is” she said wiping a fake tear.
“You girls should save the drama for later,” Emily said rubbing her stomach too.
“Sorry, how are you, Caleb?” Audriana hugged him and so did Sofia.
“We didn’t really see you,” Sofia said and made a face at Audriana and Emily.
“I am fine thank you Audri,” then he turned to look at Sofia with a boring look.
“So, the big bulky man suddenly turned invisible all of a sudden. How is the baby kicking? I know mine is bouncing every day” he rubbed Emily’s stomach and pecked the side of her hair.
“I am very fine, thank you for asking and this little champion here is kicking so hard” he replied rubbing her stomach and looking at it. “I am predicting he would be a soccer player with his regular hard kicks” Sofia mentioned with a yawn.
“I am very sure Max would approve of that, he seems like the sporty type”
“Yes, he is very passionate about Italian soccer and you should see his reactions when they lose a match, it’s like I have a grown baby to tell ‘everything will be okay’ to,” she remarked and they laughed.
“I think I heard my name” Max stood beside Sofia and put one arm around her then shook Caleb’s hand and side hug Emily and Audriana.
“Yeah, I was explaining some things to them” Sofia answered.
“I hope they were good explanations”
“Yeah, trust me”
He looked at her and pecked her nose making her giggle.
“I do now let’s get you that vegetable salad,” he said and she grimaced.
“I just want a large-sized burger” she whined grabbing the cup and following Max.
“Max, make sure it’s the salad you give her, don’t fall for her pleas or tricks on getting that burger” Audriana warned then pointed a warning finger at Sofia.
“Sure I will try my best, let’s go Bambina” he leads her towards the kitchen while the rest of them where there.
“Where is Dimitri?”
“He is around, I think getting himself a drink or so” she shrugged.
“Okay, Caleb you go look for that moody friend of yours while I stay here with Audri, I have a lot to discuss with her since I am coming out of the house after a long time”
“Okay, but you do come out of the house”
“Only when you take me for appointments at the hospital, I go for a walk around your home compound and nothing more,” she said. “Now, shoo,” she said and turned to Audriana who allowed her to sit on the couch before joining her.

She came out of the taxi and stood in front of the mansion gate feeling all the familiarity the mansion alone was giving her.
“It has been so long, really long” she muttered and made her way to the gate and showed the security her invite before she was allowed to come in after the security check performed on visitors.
She walked in slowly and looked around with so many mixed feelings going through her.
She was so glad Audriana had invited her to the little party she told her about and that it would be held where all the people of her past were going to be.
The look of shock that would be on their faces when they finally see her had been playing in her mind continuously.
She did miss him a lot and kept wondering when she would finally get to hold him and tell him how much she did but he had some other woman now and that was a stumbling block to her plans on getting together with him.
There is just one way she knows she can take him back and away from the shackles of any other woman but patience is the key and she had waited so long to get in here so she will wait some more but make sure to have him for herself and this time she would keep him.
Walking her way to the front door, she took in deep breaths, let it out, held the doorknob, and pushed so she could get in.

“Really? That is really absurd” Audriana said laughing so hard at what Emily was telling her.
“Even I couldn’t understand what was going on, it felt so surreal.” Emily laughed “While I was laughing so hard, Caleb just put his arms on his hips and shook his head in unbelief”
“You are really a match fr that gentle soul”
“Arrgghh… you guys keep saying he is a gentle soul all the time” she rolled her eyes.
“Well, he is. Maybe you brought out the hmm… let me say… aggressive side of him” said Audriana.
“I guess I am the only one privileged to see that side of him” she shakes her body excitedly, makes me feel spe-” she was interrupted by the breaking of glass.
Everyone turned to where the sound came from and saw that it was from Sofia who had a look of shock on her face as she looked at something or someone from a far distance.
