Sir Guillaume was horrified. How was he supposed to kill Amelia that would be treason to all Kingdoms and sure death for him? Many questions entered Sir Guillaume’s mind. Was Amelia of Willshire the same as my Amelia?” Sir Guillaume thought.
“Could this be why King Thomas wanted her back so bad? It does bring reason to Amelia’s request about Thomas and how she believes King Erich is lying to her.” He thought.
Sir Guillaume took his orders and left Willshire promptly. During his ride home, he could not help but think about how he was going to do this. He could not betray her in that manner.
Upon arriving at Schillingburg castle, Sir Guillaume noticed Amelia walking along the creek alone. She seemed troubled.
“Were you not told to always have an escort, my lady. It could be dangerous for you.” Sir Guillaume said as he rode up to her.
She smiled.
“Oh Sir Guillaume, you should know by now I can protect myself very well.” Amelia responded.
Sir Guillaume got off his horse and walked towards her.
“My lady, May I ask you a question? You might find it strange but I think you would have the perfect answer. Would you betray your kingdom for love?” Sir Guillaume asked.
“Oh most definitely, Sir Guillaume. Love is forever, a kingdom is just yours for the moment.” Amelia replied.
“What if you are not sure about the others feelings?” Sir Guillaume asked.
Amelia giggled and responded “If it comes to you Sir Guillaume, how could a woman not show you love? You are a wonderful honorable man.” She walked towards him and touched his face.
“If it were me and I were not in the predicament I am in, I would gracefully accept your love.” She said softly.
He reached over and touched her cheek.
Amelia closed her eyes.
Sir Guillaume took this moment to kiss her.
It was a long slow kiss, neither wanted to separate from each other.
Sir Guillaume whispered “I can take you away from this predicament, my lady.”
Amelia still with her eyes closed replied “You will be killed and I need you.”
He remained quiet.
She smiled softly and reached for his hand.
He led her towards his horse.
“Come my lady, I’ll help you onto my horse. By the way, Thank you so much for your words, my Lady. Now let us get you indoors, it is beginning to rain.” Sir Guillaume said.
There would be no rest for Sir Guillaume. The thoughts would not let him repose.
How was he going to finalize his orders without killing Amelia? It was impossible. At this point, the only logical answer would be the death of Amelia but Sir Guillaume could not do it. Not even with the threat of his own beheading.
The night was filled with horrible strong storms. The castle lit up with all the violent lightning. The rain came down in buckets.
The thunder was strong and loud.
Amelia kept tossing and turning in her bed.
She felt afraid. She had never experienced a storm like this. Not being able to fall back asleep she got up and wandered in her room.
She slowly opened the door of her room and exited. She ran towards the Knights quarters. She lightly tapped on Sir Guillaume’s door.
Startled Sir Guillaume grabbed his sword and opened his door slowly. Amelia stood there looking frightened.
He grabbed her and pulled her in.
“What are you doing here, my lady?” He whispered.
“I am afraid, this storm does not let me be calm. I am scared to be alone.” She answered.
Sir Guillaume walked towards the window.
“But my lady if you are found here, I can be in a lot of trouble.” He said.
“Oh Sir Guillaume, I need to be with you.” Amelia whispered.
Sir Guillaume stood there confused.
She slowly approached him and instantly began kissing him.
He pushed her against him and then away.
“My lady, this is not right.” He whispered.
“What is not right about this? I want to be with you.” Amelia whispered back.
Sir Guillaume nodded his head.
“Guillaume, make me yours.” She whispered.
They began to kiss wildly.
He picked her up and put her in his bed.
He looked deeply in her eyes.
“Are you sure, my Lady?” Sir Guillaume asked.
“Call me Amelia and yes I am completely sure.” She responded.
She softly grabbed his face and led him to her lips. The flash of the lightning would illuminate their flesh.
The thunder was so loud that it muffled the sounds of their ecstasy. Amelia squealed as he lightly licked her neck. As he penetrated her, her moans became louder and louder.
She could not contain her climax any longer.
“Guillaume, I love you.” Escaped Amelia’s lips.
As she looked up she could see his green eyes twinkled in the light. He lowered himself to her lips and mouthed, “I have always loved you, Amelia” before he began kissing her again.
The sun had not risen yet but the storm had passed. Guillaume was woken up by the sounds of galloping hooves outside his window. He got up and looked but saw nothing. As he turned he noticed Amelia was still in his bed. He quickly walked over and kissed her cheek.
“My heart, you are still in my bed, you need to get back to yours before King Erich rises.” He whispers.
She smiles and replies “I wish I could stay here forever.”
Sir Guillaume replied “As do I”
She stood up and began dressing. Sir Guillaume walked towards and slowly opened it. The hallways were still dark and desolate. Amelia walked up behind him and put her arms around him and whispered “I hope we can meet again.”
Sir Guillaume smiled and responded “Well of course my lady.”
She gave him a funny look.
“I meant Amelia” He said smiling.
She smiled and left his room.
Guillaume closed the door and just stood there.
“Was this all a dream? He thought to himself.
He sighed.
“A beautiful dream indeed” He whispered to himself.
As Amelia made her way back to her room she bumped into Charles in a dark corridor.
“Charles” she said startled.
“What are you doing in these dark hallways?” She added.
“I could not sleep, my lady. The storm left me unsettled.” Charles responded.
“Neither could I.” Amelia replied.
