Chapter 1089 Collaboration

Book:The All-powerful Son-In-Law Published:2024-6-3

A project worth billions, with a ten percent stake. What does that mean?
Once the project is completed and everything stabilizes, based on the estimated income, a ten percent stake would result in billions of annual profits.
Although Leo didn’t fully understand the financial implications, he knew that ten percent was definitely not a small amount. He tried to refuse, saying, “Mr. Guzman, you’re being too generous. The reason I saved you was not for any kind of return. I can’t accept a ten percent stake.”
“Dr. Bloomer, if you don’t accept it, it means you’re still mad at me!” Giovanny sighed heavily, his face filled with pain. “Since you don’t want it, then I won’t invest in this project either. I won’t set foot in the mainland again until you forgive me.”
Giovanny’s words were filled with genuine sadness, indicating his deep regret for his past negligence and doubts about Leo.
Noel and Ronald immediately became anxious upon hearing this.
How could they just give up on the project?
They quickly exchanged glances with Leo, silently urging him to accept the stake.
“Dr. Bloomer, Mr. Guzman has good intentions. You should accept it,” Noel said with a smile.
“Yes, look how sad Mr. Guzman is. If you think it’s too valuable, don’t see it as money. Treat it as a symbol of friendship, that should work,” Ronald chimed in, trying to persuade Leo to accept the stake.
Noel and Ronald both joined forces, doing their best to convince Leo to take the stake.
“Well, Dr. Bloomer, please do me this favor and let me climb a little higher,” Giovanny pleaded earnestly. “I will need your guidance for many things in the future.”
After experiencing this accident, Giovanny had complete faith in Leo’s words. Since Leo could see his unfavorable destiny and wasn’t concerned about money, he was sure that Leo could find a way to resolve his situation.
Furthermore, for a billionaire like him, this amount of profit was just a small piece of cake. He was worried that Leo would find it too little.
At this point, Leo, who wasn’t one to be overly sentimental, signed his name on the share transfer agreement.
Giovanny couldn’t contain his joy when he saw Leo sign.
After sitting for a while longer, Leo tactfully bid farewell to discuss the project details with Noel and Ronald.
“Dr. Bloomer, when I’m discharged in a few days, we must have a good drink together!” Giovanny quickly extended a warm invitation and exchanged contact information with Leo.
“Sure, no problem,” Leo nodded and agreed with a smile.
After leaving the hospital, Leo went straight to the clinic.
Inside the clinic, Shiloh was busy seeing patients in line.
After Leo’s guidance, she had become proficient in treating various illnesses, and she had gained some fame in the area. Everyone knew about the beautiful doctor, Shiloh, at the Nameless Clinic.
Upon seeing Leo, the patients immediately greeted him with respect.
Leo frowned when he saw many people standing in line. It seemed like he needed to expand the clinic. Although it seemed spacious at first, with so many people lining up, it started to feel crowded.
“Mr. Bloomer, Miss Fanny is here. I asked her to wait in the backyard,” Chasel quickly informed Leo.
Leo nodded and walked through the lobby into the backyard.
Rosemary was sitting on a stone bench in the backyard gazebo, looking through a stack of documents.
“You’re back,” Rosemary smiled when she saw him, “Here, these are the relevant materials for establishing the capital branch. Take a look.”
“Thank you,” Leo smiled sheepishly.
“No need to thank me. I haven’t earned money for anyone else either,” Rosemary replied with a gentle smile, her words carrying a hint of double meaning.
Leo glanced through the materials symbolically and nodded, “Well, it looks good.”
“Also, I plan to buy a building as the headquarters for Leo & Rose Cosmetics. What do you think?” Rosemary asked.
Leo laughed, “I don’t understand running a company, so it’s up to you to decide. I’ll fully support you.”
Leo was still quite surprised. In just a few months, Rosemary had accumulated enough funds to purchase a building. The strength of Leo & Rose Cosmetics was truly terrifying.
“About the matter of the capital branch, there’s something I need to tell you. I don’t know if you’ll agree.” Rosemary hesitated for a moment and continued, “Mr. Meredith wants twenty percent of the shares.”
“Mr. Meredith?” Leo couldn’t help but furrow his brows. He didn’t have a good impression of this Mr. Meredith.
At that moment, Leo’s phone suddenly rang, and when he checked, he discovered it was a call from Marina.
After a brief thought, he answered the call.
“Dr. Bloomer, how have you been?” Marina’s voice was always calm and steady.
“Doing fine,” Leo smiled, “What can I do for you, Miss Meredith?”
Just as Rosemary mentioned Baldwin, Marina called. It was quite a coincidence.
“To be honest with you, my brother asked me to make this call. Since Leo & Rose Cosmetics is planning to open a branch in the capital, my brother wants to have a twenty percent stake.”
“He said that if you give him twenty percent of the shares, he is willing to provide half of the funding for the office building in the capital. He will take care of all the relationships and procedures involved,” Marina spoke earnestly.
Contributing fifty percent of the investment for only twenty percent of the shares, Mr. Meredith was indeed generous.
This deal was indeed profitable, and with him handling all the procedures, Rosemary could also save a lot of trouble.
Most importantly, with the influence of the Meredith family, Leo & Rose Cosmetics would have an easier time establishing a foothold in the capital.
Although Leo didn’t have much fondness for Baldwin, it was best to separate personal matters from business.
After a brief thought, Leo nodded and said, “Alright, I don’t have a problem with it. I’ll need to ask Rosemary.”
“I don’t have a problem either!” Rosemary had known about Baldwin’s conditions for a while and found it incredibly advantageous. Naturally, she happily agreed.
“Miss Meredith, please inform Mr. Meredith that we agree,” Leo said and was about to hang up the phone, “That’s it for now.”
“Wait, Dr. Bloomer, I have one more thing to ask you,” Marina quickly stopped Leo.
At the same time, Marina felt a bit uncomfortable. Did Leo really dislike talking to her?
After all, in the capital, countless young masters dreamed of having a conversation with her.
“Just say it if you have something, Miss Meredith,” Leo quickly responded.
“Do you really have no impression at all of the photo I sent you last time?” Marina asked.
“Sorry, Miss Meredith, I’ve looked at it several times, but I really have no impression,” Leo replied affirmatively.
“Then let me send you another photo. Take a look at this person’s likeness,” Marina continued.
Leo was slightly taken aback and casually agreed, “Alright.”
After hanging up the phone, Leo put the matter aside.
“If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving,” Rosemary picked up the documents and stood up, playfully winking at Leo, “Don’t forget to visit the company more often, Mr. Hands-off Manager.”
“Of course, of course,” Leo nodded repeatedly.
