Chapter 1088 Ten Percent

Book:The All-powerful Son-In-Law Published:2024-6-3

“Since I’ve passed, let’s go to the Civil Affairs Bureau!” Leo waved his hand.
Sophia chuckled and said, “Silly, I don’t have any identification with me right now. Besides, the Civil Affairs Bureau is already closed. How can we get remarried?”
Leo slapped his forehead, realizing his mistake.
Hand in hand, the two of them left the Starlight Building. Leo drove the car and took Sophia to the Cloud Dream Mountain Villa area.
During the journey back, they discussed and decided to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau for remarriage in three days.
Additionally, Leo decided not to move back to the Cloud Dream Mountain Villa area temporarily, waiting for the matter with the Koken family to be completely resolved.
After dropping Sophia off at home, Leo drove down the mountain and returned to the clinic.
Jessica watched Leo’s departing figure with a complex expression in her eyes.
The son-in-law she had always looked down upon had now become someone she couldn’t provoke.
Only after Leo’s figure disappeared did Jessica snap out of her daydream and pulled Martin aside, whispering, “Martin, find a time to talk to Sophia and let her remarry Leo.”
“Remarry? What are you up to again?” Martin looked at Jessica warily, his tone filled with caution.
“Hey, Martin, what do you mean by that?” Jessica reached out and pinched the fat around Martin’s waist. “Our daughter and Leo have such a good relationship. I genuinely hope they get back together!”
“If you want to say it, go say it. I won’t interfere in Sophia’s personal matters.” Martin freed himself from Jessica’s clutches and walked into the villa.
Jessica couldn’t help but shout coldly, “Martin, can you be of any use in this family!?”
The next morning, Sarah and Sakura went to purchase medicinal herbs, while Chasel temporarily took care of the pharmacy. Leo accompanied Bonnie to school.
Upon returning from the school, as Leo entered the clinic, Noel called him.
“Dr. Bloomer, do you have time? Can you come to the hospital? The effects of that medicine are truly miraculous. In just a few days, Mr. Guzman can speak normally again. He specifically asked to see you and wants to thank you in person.” Noel said with a smile over the phone.
“Mr. Fox, thanking me is unnecessary as long as Mr. Guzman is okay,” Leo replied calmly.
“Dr. Bloomer, please do me this favor. Mr. Guzman has repeatedly asked me to invite you. He said there’s something important he wants to discuss with you. I’ve sent a car to pick you up, and it should be at your clinic now.” Noel continued.
As soon as Noel finished speaking, Leo saw a black sedan stop outside the clinic.
Since Noel extended such a formal invitation, Leo couldn’t refuse and reluctantly agreed.
After turning back to the clinic and giving Shiloh some instructions, Leo picked up a bottle of pills and left the clinic, getting into the car that had come to pick him up.
Arriving at the hospital, Noel and Ronald were waiting eagerly outside the main building of the inpatient department.
Leo quickly walked over and said, “Mr. Fox, Mr. Timothy.”
“Dr. Bloomer, I apologize for bothering you again,” Noel politely said.
“Mr. Fox, there’s no need to be so polite. Let’s go inside.”
Immediately, the three of them entered the inpatient building.
As they were walking towards Giovanny’s ward, they noticed four or five people walking out of the room. They were holding what looked like blueprints and discussing as they headed towards the staircase. One of them was a woman wearing sunglasses and a dark blue dress, and she had a rather good figure.
“Mr. Fox, are they here to discuss business with Mr. Guzman?” Leo curiously asked.
“Yes, it seems they’re from Horora, some kind of advertising or agency representatives. I forgot the details. They basically want to establish a cooperative relationship with the Film and Television City, and several groups have come over these past few days,” Noel explained.
After the three of them entered the ward, Giovanny had just lain down, but when he saw Leo, he immediately sat up.
Giovanny couldn’t be bothered to put on his shoes and rushed barefoot towards Leo. He tightly grabbed Leo’s hands, tears welling up in his eyes as he said, “Dr. Bloomer, you saved my life. You’re like my foster parents. I want to kowtow to you!”
After speaking, Giovanny gestured as if he was about to kneel down, but Leo quickly supported him and said, “Mr. Guzman, you’re being too polite. If you do that, I’ll have to leave.”
Only then did Giovanny hurriedly stand up and pulled Leo to sit on the bed.
“How does your throat feel? Is it itchy?” Leo asked.
“Itchy, it’s been quite itchy these past few days,” Giovanny replied anxiously.
While Giovanny spoke, his voice was still hoarse and low, indicating that he hadn’t fully recovered.
“Itching is a good sign. I brought some pills specifically for you. Take one whenever the itching becomes unbearable. It’ll quickly relieve the itch and help with the recovery,” Leo handed the small bottle of pills to Giovanny.
“Thank you, Dr. Bloomer,” Giovanny received it with both hands and expressed his gratitude repeatedly.
Then Giovanny smiled at Noel and Ronald, saying, “Mr. Fox, Mr. Timothy, now that you’re both here and Dr. Bloomer is here too, I’ll speak frankly. Regarding the Film and Television City project, I’ve already made a decision. I’m going to invest in Langstel.”
Ronald’s expression turned serious. “Mr. Guzman, this is a significant matter. How did you make a decision so quickly within these few days? You can’t repay Dr. Bloomer’s favor in this way. These are two separate things.”
“Ronald is right. The project is the project, and favors are favors. They are two different matters,” Noel agreed while nodding.
Although they wanted Giovanny to invest in Langstel, they didn’t want him to do it as an act of gratitude.
“You both have misunderstood. My first consideration in choosing an investment project is naturally the commercial interests. In fact, I had an idea in mind when I went to check out the location that day. From the city’s status, the plot’s location, and long-term development perspective, Langstel surpasses Carren.”
“Moreover, Langstel is the place where I was reborn, my blessed land. I believe that by investing the project here, it will thrive like never before!”
After Giovanny finished speaking, he looked at Leo with a grateful expression, almost subconsciously.
Noel and Ronald exchanged smiles, their faces calm but their hearts bursting with joy.
In fact, they had already guessed that after this incident, Giovanny would definitely lean towards investing in Langstel.
But they didn’t expect him to make the decision so quickly.
“Mr. Guzman, in that case, thank you very much,” Noel smiled.
Giovanny beckoned to his assistant, who quickly brought over a stack of documents and respectfully handed them to Leo, along with a pen.
Leo looked at the assistant with some confusion.
“Dr. Bloomer, this is a transfer agreement for a 10% share of the Film and Television City project. I voluntarily transfer 10% of the shares to your name,” Giovanny quickly explained to Leo.
10%?!
Even Noel and Ronald, who were accustomed to big scenes, couldn’t help but inhale sharply, their hearts filled with shock.
