Chapter 1074 Dark Web of Demon Babies

Book:The All-powerful Son-In-Law Published:2024-6-3

The five babies were undoubtedly concocted by Wizard Senior using sinister means, crafted as malevolent spirits to be controlled by him.
Leo grew enraged, intensifying the flames in his hands.
Wizard Senior produced a red small flag, waving it and commanding loudly, “Bloodthirsty Demon Babies, obey, kill him!”
As Wizard Senior’s command fell, a black light shot from the dark-faced infant, while a white light emitted from the white-faced infant.
Subsequently, the red, blue, and purple-faced babies also released beams of light towards Leo, resembling five different-colored columns of light.
Leo was taken aback and swiftly pressed his hands down, conjuring a wall of fire that rose from the ground, blocking the five beams of light.
Instantly, the five beams of light struck the fierce fire wall, merely causing colorful ripples that gradually faded away.
Leo realized that the Bloodthirsty Demon Babies weren’t as formidable as he thought, bringing a sense of calm.
In the dim light, Wizard Senior’s voice echoed once more, akin to a night owl’s mournful cry, sending shivers down one’s spine.
The Bloodthirsty Demon Babies around Leo underwent a transformation, their faces turning dark, emitting black energy from their bodies, shrouding the surrounding area in darkness.
Within this darkness, the babies’ forms enlarged, their mouths sprouting cold fangs, and black fur began to cover their bodies.
In a brief moment, the five evil Bloodthirsty Demon Babies transformed into monstrous creatures resembling gorillas.
Observing the creatures’ clawed hands, sharp as knives, they growled as they simultaneously lunged towards Leo.
Leo quickly formed a seal with his hands, reinforcing the momentum with the remaining fire symbols.
Five fireballs emerged from Leo’s body, transforming into five flaming tigers that charged at the approaching creatures!
“Roar!”
“Boom!”
The five flaming tigers collided with the monstrous creatures, resulting in bursts of fire and tumultuous dark energy, creating a deadlock where neither side could overpower the other.
This situation left Wizard Senior, hidden in the shadows, feeling anxious. He waved his red command flag more rapidly, beads of sweat forming on his forehead due to the effort.
On Leo’s end, sustaining the flaming tigers solely with his Spiritual Power wasn’t sustainable in the long run.
Leo frantically channeled his Spiritual Power, infusing it into the five fire tigers, causing them to double in size.
With Wizard Senior’s dark magic amplifying the creatures, the gorilla-like monsters also grew, presenting a temporary stalemate.
In the desolate land, the clash of Spiritual Power and dark magic created a deafening roar, akin to crashing waves and roaring beasts.
Leo shouted, “Divine Dragon Sword, shatter them!”
The Divine Dragon Sword materialized, releasing a bright flash that transformed into a barrage of sharp sword beams.
In conjunction with the five fire tigers’ coordinated attack, a strange and harrowing cacophony erupted as three creatures were torn apart by the tigers while two were cleaved by the sword beams.
As the dark aura settled, Leo was surprised to find that vanquishing the five monsters did not equate to eliminating the five Bloodthirsty Demon Babies.
After the monsters dissipated, the Demon Babies reappeared. As Leo prepared to control the Divine Dragon Sword to eradicate them, the five Bloodthirsty Demon Babies vanished into the dark aura.
Leo quickly attempted to lock onto them with his consciousness, but he couldn’t sense the presence of the Demon Babies.
However, Leo knew they hadn’t disappeared; they were merely concealed.
Just as Leo contemplated how to draw them out, the Demon Infants reappeared once more.
This time, the Demon Babies retained their original forms but their facial colors shifted from black to white, white to red, red to blue, blue to purple, with all five exhibiting these changes.
The five Bloodthirsty Demon Babies started moving around Leo, emitting strange sounds with varying rhythms from their mouths.
As the Demon Babies’ movements quickened, the rhythm of their strange sounds became more intense, causing Leo to grow increasingly agitated.
Fearful of being surrounded, Leo twirled his body along with the Demon Babies until he felt dizzy.
Attempting to control the Divine Dragon Sword to strike the Demon Babies, Leo couldn’t shake off a sense of inadequacy. Even his control over the sword seemed intermittent.
“Mystic Purple Canopy, enshroud, heed my command, ensnare all beings, heed!” Wizard Senior’s voice suddenly resonated from all directions.
In an instant, the motion of the five Bloodthirsty Demon Babies transformed into a rotation. Within this rotation, the infants vanished, and the space within three meters of Leo began to distort.
The space twisted gradually, with the rhythm sounding like a storm, bombarding Leo’s mind relentlessly.
The surroundings blurred and distorted, time seemed to halt.
His Spiritual Power fell into disarray, every attempt at using his consciousness was met with an eerie force that seemed to engulf him, like entering a black hole.
A massive black net began forming above Leo, causing him to panic and attempt an escape, only to find his body frozen in place.
He couldn’t even blink, much less escape.
The looming black net descended upon him. Leo, summoning all his resolve, directed the Divine Dragon Sword upwards.
Silently, the Divine Dragon Sword pierced through the black net, breaking free.
However, the net continued its descent, enveloping Leo once more.
Without a doubt, Leo was ensnared.
The sensation of imprisonment suddenly vanished, replaced by searing pain as the net felt like a burning brand, causing excruciating agony.
Leo struggled fiercely, feeling the net tighten around his neck, leading to a sensation of suffocation. Despite his efforts, he couldn’t break free.
His surroundings blurred, strength rapidly waning, consciousness dimming. If not for his sheer willpower, Leo might have fainted by now.
The five Bloodthirsty Demon Babies reappeared, each holding a strand of the black net. Their faces shifted colors again, all smiling wickedly as they watched Leo struggle.
At that moment, Wizard Senior and Wizard Junior emerged from the darkness.
Wizard Senior wore a smug smile. “I thought you were tougher, but it seems I overestimated you. A mere Cultivator will never match a Demon Cultivator.”
“All mortals meet their end, Wizard Senior. Finish him off,” Wizard Junior stated coldly.
Leo continued to resist, glaring angrily at the two, his eyes wide open.
