“Kuhlmann, this guy is too powerful, what should we do?” Batu spoke in their clan’s language without any stuttering.
Kuhlmann’s expression remained resolute. “Don’t be afraid. That guy has two hexagrams left. As long as we can withstand the final two attacks, we can take him down!”
“We probably can’t withstand the last two attacks. Why don’t we escape before he launches his final assault? We can strike later when the opportunity arises.”
“You fool!” Kuhlmann couldn’t contain his frustration. “If the great Wizard King learns of your actions, do you know the consequences?”
Batu’s face immediately showed a terrified expression, suggesting he had contemplated something extremely dreadful.
“At this point, we have no choice but to fight!” A fierce look appeared in Kuhlmann’s eyes. “Batu, use the secret incantation.”
Upon hearing this, Batu hesitated, “If we do this, our cultivation will be stunted, and we will lose ten years of life.”
“Just the spiritual weapon sword in his hand is worth it. Seizing his spiritual weapon and presenting it to the great Wizard King will brighten the future of our wizard clan,” Kuhlmann spoke with deep faith.
Kuhlmann’s words dispelled Batu’s hesitation, and he nodded firmly.
Subsequently, the two endured the pain in their bodies, knelt on the ground together, and simultaneously formed hand seals.
It was an extremely bizarre hand seal that, when observed by Leo, gave him an ominous feeling.
“Fourth strike of the Eight Trigrams Curse, kill!”
The Spiritual Power fluctuations had peaked, and the power unleashed by the fourth strike surpassed the sum of the previous three strikes.
Since others sought his life, Leo wouldn’t show mercy and aimed for a single devastating blow.
To Leo’s surprise, Kuhlmann and Batu made no defensive moves against the final strike of the Eight Trigrams Curse. Instead, they chanted incantations simultaneously.
The bizarre incantations echoed in Leo’s ears, and oddly, the destructive power of the hexagram was momentarily stalled by the chanting.
A peculiar soft force collided with the energy generated by the hexagram.
The attack of the hexagram, like a mountain thrown into the sea, only stirred up giant waves but caused no harm to the ocean.
The hexagram’s symbols halted a meter in front of Kuhlmann and Batu, as if an invisible barrier shielded them.
Though unable to penetrate, the sharp and tearing force of the hexagram clashed with the soft barrier, creating an intense and deafening sound.
The two pointed hexagram forces and the invisible barrier were deadlocked, akin to a tug-of-war, with each side’s power vying for dominance.
Kuhlmann and Batu’s hand seals held steady, with sweat beading on their foreheads as they continuously chanted strange syllables.
Leo felt a sense of concern as he sensed the power of the hexagram gradually diminishing.
Thankfully, Leo still had his ultimate move!
Summoning the Purple Radiance dagger, Leo split it into two, simultaneously attacking Kuhlmann and Batu.
In the next instant, two beams of purple light pierced through Kuhlmann and Batu’s chests.
Kuhlmann and Batu’s eyes lost their luster of life, maintaining their kneeling position but now lifeless.
With the battle over, Leo sheathed the Divine Dragon Sword and Purple Radiance, approaching the lifeless bodies of Kuhlmann and Batu.
Observing their vacant, lifeless eyes wide open, Leo felt a chill run down his spine.
Drawing a Spiritual Fire talisman from his body, Kuhlmann and Batu’s bodies quickly turned to ashes within the flames.
As the wind blew, ultimately, dust returned to dust, and earth to earth.
Just as Leo prepared to return to Green Plum Village, faint applause reached his ears.
Suddenly, two figures appeared before him.
“Well done, Cultivator,” the clapping man praised. The other, slightly stocky, wore shorts and a tank top, presenting a simple appearance, yet his eyes exuded malevolence and fierceness.
These were two Demon Cultivators.
Leo, facing the unexpected appearance of the two Demon Cultivators, calmly inquired, “Who are you, and what do you want?”
“I am Wizard Senior, and he is Wizard Junior,” the clapping man introduced. “Our great Lord Oktrar desires your life, so today you must and will die.”
Leo chuckled disdainfully, “Why wait? Come and kill me. It’s better if you both attack together; it’ll save time.”
“Arrogant people tend to die quickly,” Wizard Senior’s smile faded. He glanced at Wizard Junior. “Wizard Junior, this time, don’t compete with me. Let me show you my latest dark magic.”
“This guy is not simple. Be careful,” Wizard Junior warned as he stepped back.
Wizard Senior positioned himself six meters away from Leo. Retrieving a black Talisman from his person, after muttering a few words, he invoked the Talisman with a loud shout, “Come forth, Bloodthirsty Demon Infant!”
A black light flashed and vanished in mid-air, instantly shrouding the desolate land with a chilling aura.
Despite the sunny afternoon, a sense of darkness enveloped the area as the sinister aura emerged, creating an eerie sensation akin to entering a deep valley.
Leo also produced a Talisman, igniting a fierce blue-yellow flame on both hands, dispersing the surrounding sinister aura.
As the sky darkened further, the figures of Wizard Senior and Wizard Junior began to fade gradually.
A peculiar, unpleasant, almost song-like voice echoed, carrying an evil aura, as if beckoning something ominous.
Leo’s Spiritual Power surged. First, he protected himself with Spiritual Power, then used his consciousness to sense his surroundings. He quickly detected five malevolent auras slowly approaching him.
These malevolent auras caused a slight stagnation in Leo’s blood, disrupting the flow of his Spiritual Power.
As the auras halted three meters from Leo, five figures emerged, revealing five infants.
No! Not infants, but babies!
Five walking babies, all female, each with a different-colored face-white, black, red, blue, and purple.
In this unsettling scene, the five naked infant figures with differing colored faces surrounded Leo. Despite Leo’s usual boldness, he couldn’t help but feel a shiver down his spine.
