When we arrive in Kyoto. I can’t believe that Sora’s family had a dojo. On the back of their dojo is where their mansion lies.
“Dad, mom, we’re home.”-he said. We bow down to them. They look like the old style Japanese people.
“Welcome home everyone. This is Satoh’s residence, everyone here are all welcome. Everyone, take care of their luggage’s.”-an old man said.
“Grandpa, this is my husband. His name is Peter Brown.”-Luna said. He look at Peter who is nervous already. He pay respect and they laugh.
“Don’t feel stiff young ones. Let’s go to the kitchen and have dinner. After that, you can all go to your room and have some rest.”-his dad.
“Thank you, Mr. Satoh.”-Ethan
“Okay everyone, let’s go.”-his mother. We followed them. Their food is delicious and healthy. We enjoyed it actually. We are now having tea at the living room. I look at him, he seems to be quiet.
“By tomorrow, all of you will be guided by our men and tour around the Kyoto. All of you will surely like this place.”-his mother.
“Mrs. Satoh, is it okay if you help me about something? Sora said that you’re a manga sensei. I wanted to learn something from you.”-I said.
“Of course, no problem. Just call me aunt, Mrs. Satoh is a bit formal.”
“Okay, auntie. Thank you.”-I said.
“Okay then. Go and take some rest.”-his grandpa. In our room, he takes care of everything and told me to go to bed first.
“Love, do you want our babies to be a single gender or a mixed one?”-I ask him. He stops from putting clothes on the closet.
“Mixed gender will be great. Maybe two boys and a girl so that they can protect her. What do you think?”-he said. I nodded.
“Why not. It’s not a bad idea at all. Love, I wanted to ask this because I have hesitations. If one day I look like a pig after giving birth, are you going to cheat on me?”-I ask. They said there are women who find it hard to be fit again after giving birth. What if I’m one of those women either.
“Why did you suddenly ask that? Of course not. Even if you gain weight, that only proves that you have carried three lives that symbolizes our love.”
“Good answer. You can join Mr. Universe now.”
He laugh, I just want to tease him. I told him to lay down already. I hug him tightly.
“Love, I will tell you something. I hope your ready enough and listen to me carefully.”-I said. I want to tell him the truth. And I hope that his mentality won’t be affected by my decision.
Asami Banks
I am standing on the window. So this is the room of my husband in their home. It smells like him. Now it made me realize that he really love me. Because he left his home to pursue me.
“What are you thinking? You should go to bed. I knew your tired.”-he said after he hug me from my back. I lean on him and caress his hands.
“Thank you, I knew it took courage for you to leave Japan just to chase me. You really love me even if we didn’t see each other for 7 years already.”
“That is nothing. I just knew that chasing you and making you fall for me is my greatest goal in life. I made sure that when I see you again, I’m a man that is capable in bringing happiness in your life.”
“And you did. Your naughtiness and your sincerity made me see that I have meet my soulmate.”
“Wait, what is wrong with you darling? You became sweet all of a sudden. Did I do something?”-he ask.
“Silly.”-I said and turn around. I tiptoed and kiss him. I push him and made him walk backwards until we fell in his bed. We will fill this room with our sweet memories together.
“Good morning.”-I said. He is smiling, he pulled me closer to him and wrap his hands over me.
“Good morning, darling.”-he mumbled.
“Tired?”-I said in teasing tone. He laugh.
“Your fault. You made me wide awake.”-he said.
“Tss. It was you who made me wide awake until 1 am.”-I said. We both laugh. When we saw that its already 6:30 in the morning, we woke up and freshen up ourselves. When we reach downstairs, its already breakfast time.
“How’s the night, young kids?”-grandpa.
“You don’t have to ask, father. Let the kids eat peacefully.”-my father-in-law.
“Thank you for accommodating us. We sleep warmly last night. Maybe because of everyone’s warm welcome.”-Ethan said. They smiled.
“How’s everything?”-Sora’s brother.
“Thanks for your teams help, we are gathering evidences and we will fight head on to D. L capital.”
“That’s great news then. I hope that all of you will enjoy your vacation here in Kyoto.”-he said.
After that, I took the chance to talk to her parents and grandfather privately.
“You have grown up in a beautiful lady, Asami.”
“Thank you mom. I just wanted to say thank you for raising a good man that will love me faithfully.”
“Thank you if you recognize how kind and warm our son, I hope that we will have a grandchildren soon.”
“What are you talking about, don’t pressure Asami.”
“I also want to see my great grandchildren.”
“Don’t worry, Sora and I are planning of having kids early.”-I said. And we continued to talk.
Satoh Luna
I look at him. I knew he is nervous and he must be shaking when father and grandfather talk to him.
“Is everything okay? Did they pry too much?”
“Yes. But in the end its all about a man’s promise which they wanted. Don’t worry about it. Why don’t we go on a picnic?”-he said. I nodded.
“I knew a place. Let’s call everyone. When Asami still visits Japan we always go on that place.”
“Okay then. Let’s call everyone.”-he said.
“A picnic? Ohh, that place! That brings back memories. Why not?”-Asami said. Sora smiled.
“I thought you have forgotten about that place.”
“All right then, let’s go on a shopping and buy something for our picnic.”-I said.
“Excuse me, I’ll just go to the bathroom.”
“Okay. Dude, go ahead and help her. Her morning sickness is attacking.”-I said.
“Excuse us then.”-Ethan.
“Good thing that Ethan is a hands on partner. I hope Sora and you will be the same.”-I said to Peter.
“Of course.”-they both said.
“Really?”-I said in teasing tone.
“Yes. I will make sure that I will be there in every stepping stone of your pregnancy. I won’t miss every important events of our kids.”-Peter.
“I do feel the same way. Just like how mom and dad do when I was still a kid until now. And also mom warned me that I should be vigilant about post-partum depression.”-Sora.
“I’m happy to hear that.”-Asami.
A moment later the two couple came and we get ready on our way to the picnic area. This place is known for its sakura viewing.
“Whoa. The smell here is refreshing, my headache loosen a bit.”-Amellie.
“That’s good then. Let’s place our mats here.”
“This place didn’t change a bit. It was still beautiful.”
“It is, it is still beautiful like you.”-Sora said to Asami.
“Ahem! We are here, remember?”-I said teasing them. Asami blushes and we just laugh.
“I wanted to eat that. Is that a takoyaki stand?”
“Wait a minute, let’s buy together.”-Ethan said.
“Darling, why don’t we buys some fruits for everyone? You two, stay here for a while and we will go and buy us some food, okay?”-I said to Sora and Asami.
“No problem.”-they both said.
He holds my hand and put them inside his blazer pocket. I smiled. He is cute when he is acting like this, clingy and sweet.
“How much is these mangoes?”-he said.
“It will be 880 yen per kilograms.”
“We will take 3 kilograms and can you slice them for us? We didn’t bring any knife with us. Here’s the payment.”-he said. The vendor smile on him.
“Of course, young man. Newlyweds?”
“Is it a bit obvious?”-he said. He is blushing. Kawaii.
“We can tell in your eyes. Here’ the mango. Have a nice picnic day, couple.”-he said. He smiled and take it.
“Arigato.”-I said. I suddenly saw a watermelon and we end up buying. When we went back, Ethan and Amellie bring so much food. Good thing we remember that there are stalls where we can buy foods here.”
“Let’s all eat.”-I said.
“Itadakimasu!”-we all said and eat the food we bought. This brings back memories.
Peter Brown
I can tell that everyone is enjoying our Japan getaway. This is worth it. I made an excuse and went to the bathroom in this place. And I heard an interesting words from a couple of high school students.
“Ahh, youth is indeed fascinating on its height.”
I went back and they find it weird when they saw me smiling like an idiot.
“What did you just see that made you smile like that, hmm?”-Luna ask me. I seat.
“Nothing serious. I just heard some group of high school planning to confess on their dates today. They even speak how nervous they are.”
“Oh, yes. Here Japanese high school boys tend to confess on this kind of mode.”-Sora.
“Have you even tried to fell in love with your schoolmates?”-Asami.
“Nope. I told you, my eyes is on you.”
“My goodness, so sweet. But he is. He always comes home early, and even confesses of his schoolmates is being declined. I remember when I accidentally heard a confess of a beauty to him. He answered; I’m sorry, my fiancée will get mad if I cheated on her. He even shows a picture of you whom he save from IG.”
“Ohh? Good boy.”-Asami said and pat his hair. I smiled. I pick some mango and feed Luna.
“How about you, hmm? How many ex’s did you have?”-I ask Luna. She smiled.
“I think four and two confessions that is being declined when I’m still in high school.”
“Oh good. At least you end up marrying me.”
“Proud, huh?”-she giggled.
“Ethan, can you pass me the watermelon? I want to open it myself. It’s too cheesy and I want to eat a refreshing fruit.”-Amellie. We laugh. Ethan give it to her and she smack it in half. I gulped.
“I think, let’s eat some takoyaki.”-I said and took one.
“I think so to.”-Luna said and feed me. She laugh.
“Just joking. I knew that is normal to see couple for being sweet. Anyway, Ethan eat some.”-she said and feed him with watermelon.
“Oh, those are the high schools that I’m talking about.”-I said. They are holding the hands of their partners, I guess it was a success.
“Before we went home, can we pass to a certain place? We have a car that we can use.”-Luna.
“No problem. I will drive.”-I said. We stayed for more minutes and enjoyed watching the petals of these cherry blossom trees.
